Ki Fateh.
We are going to celebrate today a day to remember when the Akal Takht was attacked by the Indian forces, for no reason. But there was a great reason out of it. It invoked in the entire humanity, a resolution. It brought to the humanity the understanding what actually Akal means.
For last five thousand years humanity has been taught, you are born to die, therefore do good deeds, good acts, be nice, do charity, be afraid of God, serve the king. That kind of stuff went on.
Once there was a time when there was a divine right of kings, the entire land in this most civilized world which is called western world belong to only the king and the nobles. Peasants have no authority, no rights, and humanity got degraded to that point that, if in a village there is a marriage, they were told to keep the breed better, it is the right of noble of that area to have the bride, till he is satisfied. I mean, today we are talking of civilization, western world, I am telling you, up to 1778, western world didn't know a bathroom, they were so barbarian, so rude, in sixteenth century the female was sold in the open market for sheeps and goats as a barter.
Sometime today you might be seeing movies and you might be believing that these are fiction, that's not true. Even at one time a tribal chief in Africa was entitled to give away half of his tribe for what he wants to do. Even this land, the United States of America, the great land it's not very many year ago there were slaves here. Well, we can look at that, but even today there is a one thing which is very hidden and nobody wants to talk about, it's called 'white slavery'.
In these kind of circumstances and understanding there was birth of Nanak who said perfect God created everybody perfect, and everybody has the right of equality before one's own God. And if you have to die, you must die with honor and grace, and if you have to live, then you have to live as a soldier and a saint. Self defense, it is your first right, happiness is your birthright. He didn't only give a solution to philosophy and just try to inspire people, he gave them practical living. He stood his grounds. And at that time, especially when he was born in India, India was going through a tyranny. Let me explain you the tyranny. A person gone to a work can be picked up and taken for the meat and the blood, to be given to the hunter, such as cheetahs and other, of the imperial court and there was no appeal. Even today I tell you how much woman has a right. If a man tells a female, 'I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you,' she's divorced, that all she has, and she has no right to property, even to children.
World is not changed much, simply with all the media and the awarenessAwareness
The pure nature of existence; the power to be consciously conscious without an object or need. A fundamental property of the soul and true self; it is Kundalini as it folds and unfolds itself in existence.
we just get to know something. Humanity still is on sale, different kind of sale. You'll find under everything which is offered to you a hidden agenda. These things were not missing then, simply they have changed their shape, their reach and their approach. Philosophy is the same, 'Beat it'.
In this world of trade, GuruGuru

said,
'Vanj Kar Vanjaria, Wath Haye Hatth.'

Guru Nanak
First Guru of the Sikhs.
NanakGuru Nanak
First Guru of the Sikhs.
said that God is not outside you, you don't have to please God outside you, God is inside you always and always shall be there, it is you who can deny God, God shall never deny you.
This kind of facts when he started speaking people started throwing stones at him. Sangg Saar kar tho. Kill him by throwing stones; that was the procedures those days. When he says woman has what wrong, you know, you are born of woman, you live by woman, you marry a woman, if she dies you find another woman and what is that woman who gives birth to the kings and to all the wise men and you just insult her and treat her like an animal in the market, buy her and sell her. So with all this change impact of philosophy, humanity little bit got shaken and woke up.
The best thing ever which was given was the Akal Takht. A throne of deathlessness, a new kingdom was settled. There man was subjected to no death. He was told he can live forever and this knife(life) is not only in the physical body, this life is in love, dedication, honor, grace and sacrifice. Result of this philosophy was, that it exactly in three hundred years the great tyrant empire was finished. People got up with spirit, courage, they took stand against all the tyranny of the state and its forces and finally they defeated it.
It is amazing that there is always two classes of people - those who rule and those who are ruled, and it is amazing. And those who are ruled they are told it is in their best interest, I am yet to see somebody saying it's not in your interest. Man is always seduced, manipulated, told, convinced, influenced, to say that 'it is in your interest to live rich life, it is in your interest to be comfortable,' I don't understand one thing that if you have a very rich life and you have very rich food and very comfortable home, you don't have to sleep, you don't have digestion, you don't have good health, you don't have even sensitivity of self.
It is the national figure that people are sixty percent insensitive. They just follow routine. You talk of slaves? That day I saw a man, his all ears were pierced, his all lips was pierced, his nose was pierced and I laughingly thought, if he can pierce his whole neck it will look good. It was not that the rings he was wearing and pierced he was, that meant anything, fact was he wanted to be somebody. If he couldn't be in a right honorable manner, he cannot grow in his gracious manner, then he wanted to be just noticed.
Just now when I was coming in Santa Fe, somebody has shaven his head on the both side but there was a greasy streak in the center, it was very noticeable. The guy was very successful.
Yesterday I was working, I went to the guest house, there was a boy who was working with the plumber. You should have seen his hair, all perfect in front and totally very weirdly shaven in the back. Why these kids are doing all that?
It is the desire of everybody to find something to be somebody. That is the path of the AtmaAtma
The soul or finite form of the Infinite in consciousness. It is transcendental in nature, not a product of the mind but a part of pure awareness. It is a witness of everything and can only be revealed through itself.

and grace.
Well, the tyranny of the government and the tragedy of their way of life, couldn't tolerate it. So there were wars in which these people fought so well and so desperately, with pure spirit, with the purity of the spirit they won and hundred thousand people got defeated by one. Can you believe that? They fought so well, they defended themself so well and thus an era started where man learned to live in his own identity and grace.
From that time immemorial to today, again Akal Takht was attacked, well defended, it's rebuilt, but it built in us, a idealistic information that we belong to no death, we belong to no love which dies. We belong to no action which has no Infinity in it. So we decided we shall continue celebrating the Sixth of every month to take the guidance of the GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
and the God, doesn't matter what religion we belong to, what faith we belong to, what age we are, just to sit in prayer to remember as a mankind that we are sovereign, spiritual beings of the Almighty God, and we shall continue till we all not become very perfect, in realization, in understanding and in our growth. To this day wherever we are and specially the ladies who have come here from all over, have to remember this, you have time for everything but just remember you have to have time for yourself, you have to have time for your sovereignty, for your dignity, for your identity and for your being immortal. The mortal body is a vehicle given to you to experience immortality and that is GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
's path, it's my prayer and my blessing that I have the privilege of association with you, and this way I remember these great things meditatively, personally and inspiringly.
I hope as many weeks you live under this natural tent, the atmosphere is being provided very natural, and I am trying to do my best to change the course of this camp. It never started like this. Women who used to come here were so well trained that they used to go back as saints and soldiers. But now you are only kind of philosophers. I'd like to change it, it got changed with the person's personal change and it became a kind of public relation, oh people are in difficulty. Ah it shocks me sometime, if you do not have a difficulty and you do not have a practice to stand endurance, courage and see the impossible as possible and you cannot cut through and penetrate through all that, when you will do it? When it really comes on you in practical.
Is it wrong to prepare oneself in advance? No, it is not.
Is it wrong to give yourself values?
It is wrong to give yourself a strength and courage?
Is it wrong to give you wisdom and self-respect?
How long this humanity will be just keep on women just use as a tool and cheap and how long generation of generation will keep on children worthless and hopeless and drug addicts and character less?
How long we'll just ruin families?
How long there shall be parents worthless who cannot handle their own born children?
How long this tragedy will continue?
How long you'll make emotions nonsense and nuisance of those innocent you give birth to, and then create out of them demons and destroy their future by giving them no values, no strength, no courage, no character? How long?
Will it be only you'll wake up that day when your own born will kill you?
Will be that day when you'll be insulted and degraded and downgraded in the face of your own children?
There is a responsibility to us as a nation, as people as human beings. This all cannot go on. In the name of civilization we cannot be prostitute of ourself forty percent, we cannot have fifty percent divorce, we cannot have broken families, we cannot have broken hearts all the time, we cannot have to live a life of family where there is absolutely no trust, no tranquility, no peace. We can't. There can't be a day that we use sixty percent of the drugs of the whole world, can't be. It can't be a day when we are the biggest alcoholic consuming nation on the Earth. So, we have to wakeup and we have to use those tools which can just bring in us the strength, bring in us the technique, bring in us the experience, so we can be strong and we can really share with those who really love to be strong.
We must learn as GuruGuru

says it.
'Jab Lag Khalsa Rahe Niara, Tab Lag Teg Diu Mai Sahara,
Jab Ye Beh Bipran Ki Reet, Tho Na Karo Inke Pratit.'
How long you are exclusively in your own excellence I'll give you all the light and brightness and prosperity and purpose of life. But when you just become commoners and fall apart into the tradition of negativity, you'll never have satisfaction.
Therefore you are fortunate who have come here, you are blessed who has come here. I understand when I came here first day some of you came out of love, and nature was just soaking you wet, and some of your tents leaked, it is just like a Hercules saw a rat and started crying and weeping, and somebody did a great compassionate job to give him the Kleenex. That's how I look at it. Tent leaked. Can you believe it? Now imagine you tent leakers, look on the other side. BhaiBhai

Naturally when you belong to a excellent tradition of the humanity your performance has to be that excellent. Come with me, let us become a nation of no sorrow, let us have surge to have courage, let us have equally a physical beauty, mental beauty and spiritual beauty. Let us become people of our own, let us give ourself a chance, let us talk the distance in our destiny. Come with me, try to live that excellence. , from those beautiful words as in the beginning there was a word, word was with God and word was God, in that you can also grow and when you speak let the impact be so powerful the other persons think the angel is talking with them. Open the hearts of the entire humanity, give people hope, give them strength, so we may not fall back into the dark ages and lose what we have achieved with great sacrifice.
I hope when I am here and when I'll be gone, here, hereafter and thereafter you will carry on love and I will carry your love in my heart with every beat, with every throb, with every pulse we shall be the same. to wash away the stain of KarmaKarma
The law of cause and effect applied to mental, moral, and physical actions. Ego attaches us to and identifies us with objects, feelings, and thoughts. These attachments create a bias toward certain lines of action. Instead of acting you begin reacting. Karmas are the conditions required in order to balance or complete these tendencies. Though necessary, karma is not dictatorial or fatalistic. It is the mechanism that allows the finite experience of existence to maintain and stabilize itself. We all have free will and can take actions to re-direct the momentum of a karma. We can transform it or neutralize it using meditation, jappa, good deeds, or intuition that remove your sense of ego and the identification with that past line of action.
