YB: ' Wasn't she yesterday all right? She did it last night?
Student: (----) YB: That's okay. I don't mind. It's better
to suffer now than to be unprepared. The problem in our life my dear girl is that we are not
prepared, we are mostly unprepared for eventualities. There are three things in life, me, you, and
them. Me, you and them. And it's a' fight is triangular. It's not square fight. Life
is not a square movement, biological movement of life is not straight nor it is square,
it is a triangle. Me, you and? Students: Them.
YB: It is I, it is? Students: I.
YB: It is I, I within me and I within my environments. Write it down. I within me and I' you know
if suppose I want to go movie right now, let us put it this way and I am feeling feverish
I can't go. All right? And suppose I am very healthy and I am willing to go and I want
to go and we have a set arrangements and somebody comes whom I cannot say no or there is certain
environments or emergency I won't go, you understand what I mean? Life has to be assessed
in three ways. I, I, you and them. Or I, or I within me and I within my environments.
You understand? Now where do we goof? We always think I and how to get by. Is that understood?
Something wrong today, jeep was wrong, this is not right. It's okay. You know thank you.
I want to get by, I? Students: Want to get by.
YB: And when I doesn't get by then I gets angry, I get nasty, I get there is a one word
in English I have been remembering whole day and now it's not coming. Watch, watch, watch,
I'll pull it out somewhere. Whether you are rational or irrational, you are logical or
illogical, you are real or unreal, the fact is simple. What you want somebody has to release
it. You understand? Whether it's a mental game or it's a spiritual game or it's a personal
game, whatever you want somebody has to release it. So if you are playing a game to get by,
the other person won't release it. Because between you and within you, you have a fa'ade,
you have a mask, behind is real you and behind that real you is the real you, which wants
that. So you are two layers deep and everybody knows it because everybody is that way.
You are asking a question how anybody knows I am not straight? How anybody knows I am
not lying? How anybody knows I am not cheating? How anybody knows I am not manipulating? How,
how, how' I am telling you how because everybody in communication is deceitful to straightway.
Because anybody in communication wants thing to fall in ones pit. Actually to be very plain
in a very American English you misunderstand the meaning, everybody is out fishing with
his hook, with his rod, with his string and with his bait. Everybody.
And the biggest industry, biggest industry with a utmost hypocrisy is religion. Biggest
industry to cheat the mankind and don't give them anything is religion. You know why? Because
nobody has the reality and everybody is selling God. Oh what is God? God is people. And you
don't control people or guide people or tell them what to do. You lead people. That is
spiritual. And how many people are willing to do that? Count. A leader leads. A leader?
Students: Leads. YB: Leader doesn't discuss, leader doesn't
argue, leader lays it flat to and to, because leader becomes one with everyone. That's the
first sign if you want to live in respect. Listen, you can live rich, there is no problem
in living rich. But you will never live happy. Happiness belongs to a leader. Happiness?
Students: Belongs to a leader. YB: And a leader leads and one thing quality
of a leader is he becomes one with everyone. You know a commander in chief will bring all
the generals, he will lay the flag, they will all discuss and then final word is his, he
says, 'I feel this, this, this, you do that, you do that, you do that'' and they all
go, work it out, it's a question of life and death. You don't have a question of life and
death and you fight in your home, you fight in your family, you fight in your job, you
fight in relationship, you are stupid. What for? There is no fight; there is no need of
any fight. All of you do not like war and you wage war
everywhere. You wage war on an ice cream. I want vanilla, no I want chocolate!
(Students laugh) What a stupid fight. Have you understood any
belittlement used or abused or misused takes away from you the eighty percent of prosperity.
All energy wasted on belittle events in life, keeps you poor, unhappy. Your prosperity is

giving me a foot massage. I was very tired that day. I slept. I woke up, I said, 'Bless
you, is it you who were doing it?' She said, 'Yes.'
I said, 'Who are you?' She said, 'I am your Yoga student.'
That much all I know. What is your name? My name is this and this, where you come from,
what is this? I have this thing, why you come to my Yoga class and after Yoga class you
don't go away because eleven to twelve Yoga class and then people used to leave. She used
to stick around. She said, 'I have no place to go because you healed me. I was very, very
sick. You perhaps don't remember.' I said, 'No, I remember, I know little trouble
you had. But that's okay.' Then she told me the whole story of her life
who she is, what her parents are, what she was doing and how she is messed up in every
relationship and how' and I told her very simply, I said, 'Do you know your problem?'
She said, 'What?' I said, 'You are too intelligent to be a
human.' She said, 'Yeah, that's my problem. But
how to solve it, how to fix it.' She didn't know how to solve it. Let me speak
her language, 'How to fix it?' I said, 'It is fixed. Don't fix it. You
don't fix it. Some will come along who will find your intelligence and he will fix it.
Your problem is you have intelligence; you are working through your intelligence. So
when you work through your intelligence you think everything is like you.' That's a
one problem you all have. You all think everybody is like you, you are all cheat, so everybody
is a cheat, you don't want to admit you are a cheat, you think other person is a cheat.
You all have three layers of personality. If you call yourself so and so honest none
of you. You are all out fishing. This is the basic ingredients of the human psyche. You
don't want to admit it. You think a thief doesn't know who else a thief is? Everybody
knows. But you want to look like a saint and tell the other person is a thief. It will
never work. You got to learn in your life to be straight and then tolerant. Because
you being straight may upset the whole balance because other person is not straight.
To presume everybody is straight is the first mistake. Neither you are straight nor everybody
is straight, therefore you have to convince through not communication but through repeated
effort that you are straight you are committed, you are honest, you don't mean any underhand
business, you are not going to over cross something because you must understand every
human has one thing which is intellect, won't let him go. That's called security. So I told
this girl, I said, 'Why don't you do one thing, don't use any of your own intelligence.
Let us see if somebody comes along and things happen the way it happens.' Well, two months
later she was just buying in a store this health food store and she was picking right
things and reading the labels and this man came by. He said, 'Do you do the sales here?'
She said, 'No, I am customer.' He said, 'Well, sorry my apologies.'
She said, 'No, no, do you need help?' He said, 'Yes, I have been asked to go on
a health food, I don't know what it is. So I saw you reading the labels so I thought
perhaps you know better than me.' And she said, 'Actually what do you want?'
He said, 'I have been put on a mono diet by this YogiYogi

from India.'

He said, 'YogiYogi

Bahaan!' She said, 'I am his student too. So what
do you want, let me know.' So she took the list and picked up the things
and put it in a basket and he said, 'God, now what I'll do with this whole thing?'
She said, 'What is your problem?' He said, 'Well, I can't ask you.'
She said, 'No, no, no, I am available. What is your job?'
He said, 'If you can cook this and feed me I am willing to pay you forty dollars an
hour.' Straight, in those days mind you, forty dollars'
forget it! Four dollars an hour used to be a big sum. And she said, 'No, no, no, you
mean four dollars an hour.' He said, 'No, no, no, forty dollars, I am
entitled to pay forty dollars an hour.' She said, 'Okay, forty dollars an hour,
who cares! That's best. Best bet.' So he gave the address, he told he said, 'Why
don't you bring the ingredients then and take care of it and this is the key and please
leave the food I'll eat it I don't mind but I have to got to Yoga class I am in hurry?'
She said, 'I have to go to Yoga class too.' He said, 'Well, whatever it takes, I'll
eat later whenever it will be ready.' So they both came to Yoga class and after
that they both left Yoga class and went all the way back to the apartment and she cooks
for him and she served it and washed the dishes and left. After about six weeks, he said,
'Sir, I have one thing to say. I am not your big student anymore but I am new but
I don't know how to say it.' I said, 'Well, if you now feel like saying
it, say it. What is your problem?' He said, 'No, no, no, let's go in that corner.'
He said, 'Can you do that sir?' I said, 'You must be Virgo.'
He said, 'Yes sir.' (Students laugh)
Unnecessary shy, they are' they don't mean it but that's how they are. It takes them
a minute always to find out whether they are on the left foot or right foot. That's one
of the Virgo sign's very authenticness. They want to know where their left foot is, where
their right foot is, you don't. Among the zodiac there are two things, which you will
always find very funny. A Virgo will always like where right foot and left foot is. A
Piscean will always like where thing is going to circle around. You can't get out of these
zodiacs by sneaking. Impossible! Never even try it. Each zodiac has a faculty, that faculty
you don't challenge. If you challenge that faculty you are stuck. Now if you are dealing
with a Taurus and you think they don't know where danger is if there is no danger they
will create it. (Students laugh)
But you have to be very mathematically explained what is what. If you ever deal with a Gemini
and don't tell them what are the two sides of the coins are you have lost the game already.
So there are certain propositions and problems in life when you deal with other human beings,
they have their set faculty, set facility, set projection and set rejection. This exists
in the intelligence of the body as intellect releases it for the human being to survive.
So what happened I just went in that corner and I said, 'What is it?'
He said, 'Sir, that lady such and such is your student.'
I said, 'Yeah.' 'And you have put me on a mono diet and
I am very happy and I am very healthy. She met me in a health food store and now she
cooks for me and I like her.' I said, 'Then why don't you tell her?'
I(He) said, 'God! I have told all many, many, many people and I have suffered. No
more.' He said, 'Would you like to hear my own
history?' And I said, 'Wait a minute. Few days ago
it was her history, now I have to go through your history, what is your history, come on
sit down!' So we satSat

down and we talked everything. And
I told him I said, 'You are a spoiled kid, your mother loved you very much and very sincerely
and she didn't look at you whether you were right or wrong. Now you want a person who
should be just intelligent enough to look at you whether you are right or wrong and
should tell you.' He said, 'What do you think about her?'
I said, 'Well, fact is you have to reach her.'
He said, 'You do it for me.' I said, 'Wait a minute kid, you are putting
the whole load on me, I just don't want to deal with it.'
He said, 'No sir, you know better.' So finally when I looked at both of them and
understood their whole basic ingredient of life, I found out something very simple. Both
are very sensitive, both have a powerful projection and both do not know how to handle their projection.
And both are very well to do, very rich, both are crazy living most unhappily on the planet.
Because emotions are there to make you live. Commotions are there to desire you to want
but that's not what intelligent people do. Intelligent people do not follow to act on
the spur of the impulse. They want to figure it out every impulse has a intertwined relationship,
I, me and them. Do you understand that? So if you want to act on something you want
to act you are not going to make any sense. And what we have done in our life is we are
trying to become sick of a structure. We don't want a structure. All right folks, don't have
it, at night let the aeroplane come, helicopter put a roof over you. In the morning take it
away. But how you are going to live? Without structure and without becoming a institution
you have no initiative in life left, period. You have three things left in your life without
becoming a institution. Misery, misery, misery! Disappointment, disappointment, disappointment!
Suffering, suffering, suffering! Did I say it clearly? And you don't have to go anywhere to learn. We
make a house, we dig the foundation, we make the floors, we make the walls, we make the
windows, we make the roofs, don't we do a structure? Structure your life.
Structure your life and serve it. That's called discipline. Structure your life and then serve
it and put a billboard out. Hacienda-e GuruGuru

Then you walk in, bah bah bah bah bah, why we do all that? And in your own life, come

very nicely and gently and send away if they don't fit in. And talk to them with logic

situation is between you, me and them. So it has to be figured out, what figures out

You know the word familiar? Intimate. Intimate or inmate is the same thing. You
all are bound down in a cage called house and we call in spirituality homay, ego. You
are all in it, you are part of it. Like this tent, look at this. There are those small

act impulsive, if you? Students: Act impulsive.
YB: Other person will act repulsive. Natural hei, dekho don't blame others. When you act
impulsive, the response will be repulsive. Why? Impulsive means you are putting the full
wrest, your harpooning something, you are not hooking it, you are not fishing it. Impulsiveness
makes your behavior like a harpoon. The other person will do his best to run out, run away,
avoid it. Are you there? You understand? If you want your way and how the other person
knows you want it your way, tell me? Because your tongue is your best enemy or a best friend.
It is not what you say; it is how you say it. It is not what I hear how it sounds to

I am going to keep her for a week more. Why? In one way the understanding is established,
the other it is not. This word is nothing but a hooker's business
and religion is nothing but people sell reality like a real estate. And everybody has a house
to sell. But actually religion was meant to improve the mental, spiritual and physical
condition of a person. The first religious book available in the world is the Vedas.
You know what a Yajur Ved is? Yajur Ved is all about health, all about medicine, all
about man. It's called a Ved. Rig Ved introduces you the vastness of the God. Rugg, rugg means
the artery, rigg means the flowing artery, which digs out and Rig Ved is no big thing
than a rig you make to bring the oil out, what you call that? Rig? That's a rig too,
isn't it? Right in the center of the ocean you make the rig, you take the pipes down,
you bring the oil up, right? Haa? The wisdom of the rig is what can pull out
your preciousness is called rigg. It is called Rig Ved. First book in the world, which tells
you and introduce you to God is called Rig Ved. Ved means Vidya, which contains wisdom.
And Rigg is no different word than English and than in Sanskrit, same word. Geography
might have changed the pronunciation but geography cannot change the reality. So please understand
in your personality you always get beaten at your own accord. Because you have no accord
with you, within you and around you. You have to deal with your own trinity first. You have
to deal? Students: With our own trinity first.
YB: Then you can deal with anybody. Do you understand? No you don't. You know what actually
you want. You want never to be caught and get away with anything. And any person who
wants to have a lifestyle to get by is never going to get by, that's the principle of get
by. Get by means you will never get by. There is a very popular saying in Punjabi,
'Sou Dinn Chor Da, Ek Dinn Saad Da.' Hundred days belongs to a thief, but one day
SadhuSadhu
A holy man.
is going to catch him. You know what I mean? It's a very common saying. Hey (?) it,
Sou Dinn Chor Da, Ek Dinn' and there is a Sanskrit thing,
'Paapi Ko Maarne Ko Paap Mahaa Bali Hei.' Don't kill a sinner, sinner kills himself.
A rude person doesn't have to be replied rudely or being afraid of, rude person is enough
to make his own life crude. And life is a very sophisticated experience, delicate, delightful.
And you have to be very diligent in life. When delightful gets the agency of your wisdom,
it becomes diligent. You understand the English word diligent? Converse people with people
diligently. You listen to me? You are like getting mesmerized. Talk diligently, talk?
Students: Diligently. YB: And listen patiently. Talk?
Students: Diligently. YB: Listen?
Students: Patiently. YB: And deal with your trinity and the other
person trinity. Okay, one is I, one is you, and one is the Unknown. One is the?
Students: I. YB: You, and the Unknown. So whether you believe
in God or you don't believe in God, you like God or you don't like God, without God you
cannot even move. That is why religion became very important, that is why religion became
a force to exploit, that's why religion became a absolutely controlling factor, that's why
religion brought more wars than anything else because everybody wants the reality to deal
with life and life has a very simple reality. It wants to let it be. To be is to be is the
reality of life because when you to be, when you are you then everything around you is
relevant term and that's called relevant term means relationship.
The proportion and the projection has to have a balance. You can't pull life in one way.
Then you will ask me question why we are stupid, why we don't understand it. Because it's a
great satisfaction to be emotional. Emotion satisfies ego, emotions never satisfy wisdom,
intelligence. Intelligence and ego have no relationship at all; they are North Pole,
South Pole. To be emotional is a great satisfaction. People love it. And therefore they have to
suffer. There is actually a religion, it's called realism and emotionalism. There are
two religions in the world. Rest is all hotchpotch. If you look at everything realistically, you
understand? Aren't you great? Haa? Wrong. If you look at things realistically from your
point of view and from the other point of view then bring to balance, then you are right.
Because individual reality is always different. Geographical reality is always there but Infinite
reality is Infinite reality, nobody can deny it. You can deny it but you can't deny it,
it is there. So between a relationship and a relationship you have to deal with your
own trinity with other person's trinity and with the trinity of the Unknown. That's why
our mathematics stops at number nine. Three for me, three for you, three for the one.
Nine. One and then zero, start again, it's called ten. You know how we came to the figures?
Three for me, three for you and three for the Unknown.
Now look at this drought area, now it is raining; now they are in trouble. You know what they
call that rain today? Million dollar rain. Because rain just let them know it's all not
free, it can stop whenever it wants to. You have to understand life is a trinity within
you, life is a trinity around you and life is also controlled by the trinity called God.
G O D. And the guy doesn't let the control go. God will never let the control go because He owns this Earth, He owns the space,
He owns the time, He owns the Universe, and what you are trying to do. You don't even
remember there is a God. How can your life be all right? Give me a break.
All big deals of yours and your intelligence and your everything, tell me without God how
you can exist and what is God, that unknown factor, that unknown factor, which changes
the Newton's law of force. Third law of force of Newton is action has a reaction equal and
opposite and it changes. Why? Because the Unknown intervenes for which there is no explanation.
You understand? So it is better to believe in God and pay homage to God and don't mess
around, rather than denying God and suffering because your all calculations will be wrong.
Then what is the standard? Standard is I love it, you love it, you want me to eat, I want
to eat it but is it in the name of God, that you have to decide.

how clever he is. I mean his pronunciation and his projections are beautiful. Kar, Kar,
Kar, Kar, do, do, Kar means hands, God's hands works. That's why He is called Karta Purkh.
Kar, Karpaan. Strength of the hand. Paan means temper. If hand is tempered, then you have
sword in your hand, it's called Karpaan. Kar Kar veykhe, Kar, Kar, sirjan haar, sir-jan

Kar Kar vay-khay. He is dodo again and again He sees you. Kar Kar vay-kay sirjan haar,
next? 'Nanak sachay kee saachee kaar.'
Nanak truth has a truthful creation. Lies will create lies, truth will create truth
and what is a lie? Detour of the truth. There is no such thing lie. Lie is to get extension
of time on the space. Why I won't say something truthfully? Because I want to avoid the reality.
You avoid confrontation that's why you lie. When you don't want confrontation you speak
the truth. And when you want the confrontation you speak the truth to create a fight. Truth
is confronting. 'Sach Kouda, Joot Mittha.'
Sach is truthful, they always truth is bitter. Why? Because it creates confrontation. Why
confrontation is bad? Because you are not satisfied within your trinity, therefore you
cannot face the reality. When your trinity is not balanced in you, reality won't fit
with you. and when you live with non-reality you will either live in a very exposed atmosphere
thirty-five thousand above the ground or two hundred thousand under the ground. You won't
be on the ground. Because reality masters the time and space. Non-reality has totally
fog about it. It has nothing. All of you when you feel you have nothing
in life only you have nothing when you are faraway from your own reality and you don't
have balanced your own trinity, you have not understood your within yourself you, because
there are three trinities. One is you, one is within you and one is around you. That's
why Saturn the great teacher has three rings. One is personal, one is impersonal, the other
is social. You know Saturn social ring outside, it changes colors and impulses. It's very
beautiful. Personal is always steady. Impersonal it projects. Back and forth. You follow what
is the law of communication, you follow? You understand? Therefore if you biological as
a human, as a human being let it be. You will be successful. Do your best, God will do the
rest. What is best? When your beast is not in action. Yeah, that's best.
Good is when God is there, better is that you are not butterflying about it and the
best is when your beast is totally tamed. You have the strength, the power, the go,
but it is not going wrong. 'Aasan lo-i lo-i bhandaar, jo kuch paaya,
so eka vaar. Kar Kar veykhe sirjan haar, Nanak sachay kee
saachee kaar, Ek Ong Kar, aadays tisai aadays, Aad aneel
anaad anahad jug jug eko vays.' You understand that? No, yes? No or yes? Oh
now you understand how long it will continue. I know when I am in the class you understand
it. When I am in the jeep you think you understand it.
(Students laugh) When I am out of that barbed wire you forget
it and that's the problem. You know Christianity talks about trinity, Judaism talks about trinity,
Islam talks about trinity, Hindus talk about trinity, Buddhists talk about trinity, Jains
talk about trinity. Every religion talks about trinity, GuruGuru

says beyond trinity it
is not one trinity, it is three trinities. 'Aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay
parvaan.' There are three disciples,
'Ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan, jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai.'
As he wants so he runs it. 'Jiv hovai furmaan.'
As he commands it. 'O-hu vaykhai o-naa nadar naa aavai bahutaa
ayhu vidaan.' Surprise is he sees it and you don't. You
know what the problem is? Problem is there is a fight between you and God. God sees everything,
God knows everything and you think He doesn't. The fact is you don't know a thing. I remember
I was asking somebody, I said, 'Where are you going?'
He said, 'I am going such and such place.' I said, 'Why don't you sit down and have
a cup of tea?' He said, 'No, no, we are in hurry, it's
getting late.' I said, 'Be comfortable here, just wait
for sometime. We will give you good cup of YogiYogi

Tea and something and you relax and then
you go little later.' 'No, no, no, we have to go right now.'
I said, 'Okay go. But do me a favor when you reach, do call me that you have reached
safely.' You know it's Albuquerque is from here about
one hour, two hours, three hours four hours, finally I called. I said, 'Hey, what happened?'
'Aah what should I tell you!' I said, 'What happened? There must be something.'
'Oh my tire got bursted in the way.' I said, 'That's all right, that's' half
an hour.' 'But I didn't have a spare.'
I said, 'What you did?' 'So I put the thumb out and came back and
brought the tire, unopened the tire and put the jack, get it repaired, went again. It
was a hell!' I said, 'How about a cup of tea now?'
Because nail was on the way and tire was ready. That's why when we start a car we say,
'Aad Sach Jugaad Such Hei Bhi Sach Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach.'
Or we say, 'Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, SatSat

whatever we want to do. What is the idea? Just to get space, just to be late. If you
are late by nine foot of the accident you cannot have it. You have to do something to
be late by nine feet so your auraAura

may not be entangled with that proper moment, that's
it, that's all is the deal. No big deal! Because if your auraAura

within the nine foot is on that
spot and time is on, time you cannot stop, space you can gain or lose.

gaining is space. What we do at home? ArdasArdas

Ki Fateh''
How quick we may do' still it gives us nine feet. Why we start everything with a prayer?
Why? Why? We pay the rare prayer because we pay the Unknown. We prepay Him, because in
reality we don't want to suffer. So now what happens is religion becomes a ritual. Aah
these Sikhs, whenever they start car they say yoyoyoyoo' I have heard somebody saying'
what do they say? What do they say? I say get a miracle ear, hear it. They don't
say yoyoyoyoyoo' they do something very nice to themself. It's a very selfish act;
they don't want accident, who wants a car everyday? You don't want trouble in your life
so you have to deal with your own trinity and you have to deal equally with the other
trinity and you have to equally deal with the Unknown. You have to deal you the confronting
that and the Unknown Thou.
Is it temporarily understood? Students: (-----)
YB: Well, for the time being. And it's a psychology, it's not big deal. It's a logic, reason, and
confirmation of activity related and interrelated. Are you okay? Then why you mess up your life?
Give me the solid ground, why we do that? Student: (----)
YB: Haa? It's not ego actually I tell you the truth. We have a capacity; a part in us
is God. That's soul and we feel we can get away with everything. Therefore when we become
impulsive we become narrower and narrower in our vision of totality. It's a short circuit.
There is a very popular saying in Punjabi, 'Oh thu mu gad kar, gul kad gul teno pindo
gadaegi.' In this vernacular you understand? He says,
'Hey you speak a word from your mouth and the world will throw you out of the village.'
Because your effectiveness is what you speak. And your trust is what you speak and deliver.
And your respect and goodwill is you deliver again and again and again, it's called Japa.
Japa means Jee-Paa, Paa means get, Jee means the soul. Get to the soul. Repeat it, repeat
it, repeat it to get to the soul. That's why GuruGuru

said, 'Jap!' Very commandment,
very beautiful commandment. Jap, 'Aad Sach Jugaad Such Hei Bhi Sach Nanak
Hosee Bhee Sach.' You want happiness in your life; you don't
have to call me. You call your own inner chamber and see your trinity is all right. Understand
and then you see what you are dealing with it is His trinity is balanced by your communication.
Understand? And then also see that the Unknown is satisfied. When you talk with a high moral,
high moral, high moral and innocent attitude. High moral, innocent attitude, you win. Yeah?
Student: (----) YB: Have you seen anybody swimming when the
tide is on? People who are emotional, people, God has to make lot of emotion in people to
clean our floors and clean our latrines and bathrooms, and do menial job because people
who are emotional will never be successful. They will always be in a setback. You break
the continuity of your life. You will always be a failure and it has to be eighty percent
because there are lots of jobs, which we have to do. But it does not mean you don't have
a chance. You always have a chance to channel your emotions. Create a balance. People are
not rich and poor, people are not wise and unwise, people are great and not great. You
know you saw the primary, everybody ran and one came up. But one was very consistent.
Last night Jessie Jackson spoke and he got such a applaud you can't believe it. Because
what he did is he put himself into the pain of people. And then said, 'I am one among
you and I am here because I didn't give into the pain.' When you don't give into the
pain you shall succeed. Pain is nothing but a signal where you have to come with a absolute
excellence and totality to get out of it. And what is there to get out of pain? Stamina,
grit and courage. Three things can take you out of every pain.
Stamina. You will ask me why? Because you will be rewarded hundred times. That's the
law of the pain. From the valley of pain there is nothing but the valley of pleasure. And
everybody has to go through the valley of pain to reach the pleasure. There is no rose
without a thorn. And if you have the grit, you have the courage, there is nothing which
can be done to you, you can pay-in, pain' dis-ease, when you are uneasy. Disease, de-ease.
Yes? Student: (----)
YB: Anybody, pick up anybody. You know when you communicate with any situation, it's me
and the situation, them. Because one person who you are facing may have twenty percent
with him. So it is always, word is used plural. I think I am dealing with Dr. SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
Kripal Kaur.
I am not dealing with SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
Kripal Kaur, not at all. I am dealing with SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
Kripal Singh,
I am dealing with her daughter, her grandson, there is a whole them of them.
(Students laugh) No, no, that's a biggest mistake you always
think. You think you deal with one person to one person, it's not true. There is no
one person you are dealing with, it's always them. One always deals with class. There is
a very common saying; 'If you don't want to hang on a cross. Learn to deal with a class.'
And the biggest mistake how blind you are because you think you are dealing one to one,
there is no such thing one to one. I am not one because I have big fa'ade behind me.
That person is not one, that person has big fa'ade behind that and two facades have
to meet. Student: (----)
YB: That's also biggest fa'ade. That has to be considered also. Normally people used
to say, 'God willing we will meet tomorrow.' They put God before, so it became a joke now.
'Are you sure,' 'sure.' But who the hell two (?) can be sure? If lightning struck,
then who is to meet who. We have tried to live without God and we have tried to live
with God. We have failed both ways, because God is not all, it is one of the trinity.
Powerful though because unseen is always powerful. God knows what He is going to do; God knows
how He is going to look like. But God is a trinity.
You are trinity within you. You have your left, you have your right, you have your neutral.
It takes two wings for the bird to fly. But there has to be bird in, if you put two wings
and there is no bird in, what's going to fly? Do you understand that? It takes left wing,
right wing, and then neutral, Sushmana. IdaIda

cannot exist without Sushmana. And
Sushmana is very powerful. That is what makes the wings to go. That makes the' you know,
you see the bird? Bird has a tail. It controls its course by the?
Students: (-----) YB: And you are bird too. You have a tail,
'oh don't worry about this girl, don't talk to her she is a prostitute, she is a whore,
I know her from the past.' Tail, it's a tail. It will control your directions. You call
it goodwill, or you call it reputation or you call it tail. Bird has two wings and the
center of it and the tail and then it has something very beautiful called beak. You
know if the birds do not cry in there, they cannot be shot. So when they open their mouth
they get the bullet. So basically we may look at life in anyway, the most important thing

You are a totally burning river of sand who looks like a river of water. It's a MayaMaya
The creative power of the Creator that restricts and limits. It creates the sense of limitation that leads us to identify with experience, the ego, and things. Because of this it is often thought of as the illusion that blocks us from the spirit. But, as Guru Nanak (see Sikh Gurus) reminds us, you need not be attached to the productions of maya. Instead they can be used to serve and express the higher consciousness and spirit. Maya is simply Karta Purkh, the doing of the Great Being. Maya takes the ineffable into the realm of the measurable.
.
When people say, 'I cannot deal with it,' I say, 'Yeah, you can't, don't, don't deal
with it, don't.' Because what you cannot deal with, will always
be dead. The hand of God will deal the cord of life. Go with it or go without it. Because
you must understand the corruption in life will corrode you, it won't let you be what
you are. You don't have not to be corrupt, go, be corrupt. Nobody has to punish you,
you will punish yourself. A constant corroding in your being is called corruption. Corruption
is what you think? So man what did? Man made laws so avoid this, avoid this, if somebody
breaks this, somebody breaks, somebody because what is the whole thing?
Life is supposed to be lived. That's the law. Live and let live. That's the principle mankind
made. That's the peace we made with ourself. But it's very difficult because everybody
wants to live off the other person and you are all interdependent and you are not nice about it, that's why there is a trouble.
Whenever you are nice about it, there is no trouble at all. If I understand what your
need is, you understand what my needs are, there is no trouble. But when you start needling
me for your need forget it, who loves that' what they call that thing which has so many
needles on it? Students: (-----)
YB: Haa? Students: Porcupine.
YB: Porcupine! Many of you are nothing but porcupine, even touch gives you two hundred
needles and those are your needs gone into the blood of another person. Who wants pain?
People run. And if somebody comes near you to make you understand you raise them all
up. Have a nice day! Who wants it? Your need is very good and you want to needle, you don't
care for any spirituality, you don't care for any morality, you don't care for any reality.
Spirituality, morality, reality, you all put it on a hanger and you think you are going
to get away with everything? Forget it! You are crazy; there is a nail on the road, which
will get your tire. Don't worry baby, you will get it. And mind you that nail will get

GranthGranth
Literally: knot: book.
. And if you take the leap year then there is a Ragmala to it exactly to the very
figure of it so that your ear may hear the year of the Sun and you call it Sun zodiac.
In the west we go by the Sun year. In the oriental we go by the Moon year. Lunar calendar. Here we go by the Sun
sign. They go by the Moon, mental. Because in the oriental they found out life is life
but it has no meaning. If the mind doesn't make the meaning of life, life becomes very
mean. If mind cannot spell out the meaning of life, life becomes very mean. That's why
they totally went mental. They want to know everything what's going
on, how it's going on, what is longitude, what is latitude, what is this, what is predictable,
unpredictable, what is normal, what is normal, what is mutable, what is fixed. The whole
system of astrology was based on to know mathematically by calculation. They went far away, they wanted
to see if the nostril is right they will proceed, if nostril is left they won't. They perfected
the science to the time of Bhrigu. There is a Bhrigu Sangatha. A scripture Bhrigu wrote.
He wrote all people who have to come, all who have come and all who are here. He wrote
their total life. It's already there. I went to that place Hoshiarpur. He said, 'This
man is coming with three people with him. Their first names are these and first letter
is this, this, this.' And yes I looked around, I said, 'Those three people were there.'
Then it said, 'He is coming from a foreign land and he has left his home.'
Yes, I went from America, that's true, I left my home. And one thing, another thing and
then I laughed back, I said, 'There is'' He said, 'Do you have any question?'
I said, 'What more question I can ask? It is telling me everything.'
How can a man four thousand and twenty years ago write a book in which it is described
to detail and you know these guys who have got those books they took those pages out
everyday and they knew that those people are coming and they search it out. I mean they
have pages out and I have always asked them, I said, 'Those who don't come?'
He said, 'They don't come. If they come they are there. We don't make it up.'
And once you know funnily I was reading somebody's hand and somebody mocked at me, he said, 'Well,
monkey has a hand and it has lines.' I said, 'Yes, monkey has lines.'
'What do they read?' I said, 'They see it's a monkey. That's
what they read.' Because people do not want to calculate, they
do not want to calculate the trinity and that is the tragedy. What is the Christian trinity

request. Garaz need, need. Maraz, disease. These are three forces. If you don't have
a Garaz to eat you will never move, why should you bother. There are things in life you have to understand how
the system works. You forget it. Just remember life is a trinity within, without and by itself.

(Conversation)
YB: ... Wasn't she yesterday all right? She did it last night?
Student: (----)
YB: That's okay. I don't mind. It's better to suffer now than to be unprepared. The problem in our life my dear girl is that we are not prepared, we are mostly unprepared for eventualities. There are three things in life, me, you, and them. Me, you and them. And it's a... fight is triangular. It's not square fight. Life is not a square movement, biological movement of life is not straight nor it is square, it is a triangle. Me, you and?
Students: Them.
YB: It is I, it is?
Students: I.
YB: It is I, I within me and I within my environments. Write it down. I within me and I... you know if suppose I want to go movie right now, let us put it this way and I am feeling feverish I can't go. All right? And suppose I am very healthy and I am willing to go and I want to go and we have a set arrangements and somebody comes whom I cannot say no or there is certain environments or emergency I won't go, you understand what I mean? Life has to be assessed in three ways.
YB: And when I doesn't get by then I gets angry, I get nasty, I get there is a one word in English I have been remembering whole day and now it's not coming. Watch, watch, watch, I'll pull it out somewhere. Whether you are rational or irrational, you are logical or illogical, you are real or unreal, the fact is simple. What you want somebody has to release it. You understand? Whether it's a mental game or it's a spiritual game or it's a personal game, whatever you want somebody has to release it. So if you are playing a game to get by, the other person won't release it. Because between you and within you, you have a façade, you have a mask, behind is real you and behind that real you is the real you, which wants that. So you are two layers deep and everybody knows it because everybody is that way.
You are asking a question how anybody knows I am not straight? How anybody knows I am not lying? How anybody knows I am not cheating? How anybody knows I am not manipulating? How, how, how... I am telling you how because everybody in communication is deceitful to straightway. Because anybody in communication wants thing to fall in ones pit. Actually to be very plain in a very American English you misunderstand the meaning, everybody is out fishing with his hook, with his rod, with his string and with his bait. Everybody.
And the biggest industry, biggest industry with a utmost hypocrisy is religion. Biggest industry to cheat the mankind and don't give them anything is religion. You know why? Because nobody has the reality and everybody is selling God. Oh what is God? God is people. And you don't control people or guide people or tell them what to do. You lead people. That is spiritual. And how many people are willing to do that? Count. A leader leads. A leader?
Students: Leads.
YB: Leader doesn't discuss, leader doesn't argue, leader lays it flat to and to, because leader becomes one with everyone. That's the first sign if you want to live in respect. Listen, you can live rich, there is no problem in living rich. But you will never live happy. Happiness belongs to a leader. Happiness?
Students: Belongs to a leader.
YB: And a leader leads and one thing quality of a leader is he becomes one with everyone. You know a commander in chief will bring all the generals, he will lay the flag, they will all discuss and then final word is his, he says, "I feel this, this, this, you do that, you do that, you do that..." and they all go, work it out, it's a question of life and death. You don't have a question of life and death and you fight in your home, you fight in your family, you fight in your job, you fight in relationship, you are stupid. What for? There is no fight; there is no need of any fight.
All of you do not like war and you wage war everywhere. You wage war on an ice cream. I want vanilla, no I want chocolate!
(Students laugh)
What a stupid fight. Have you understood any belittlement used or abused or misused takes away from you the eighty percent of prosperity. All energy wasted on belittle events in life, keeps you poor, unhappy. Your prosperity is not I remember once a lady came to Yoga class and one day she satSat

down with me and started giving me a foot massage. I was very tired that day. I slept. I woke up, I said, "Bless you, is it you who were doing it?"
She said, "Yes."
I said, "Who are you?"
She said, "I am your Yoga student."
That much all I know. What is your name? My name is this and this, where you come from, what is this? I have this thing, why you come to my Yoga class and after Yoga class you don't go away because eleven to twelve Yoga class and then people used to leave. She used to stick around. She said, "I have no place to go because you healed me. I was very, very sick. You perhaps don't remember."
I said, "No, I remember, I know little trouble you had. But that's okay."
Then she told me the whole story of her life who she is, what her parents are, what she was doing and how she is messed up in every relationship and how... and I told her very simply, I said, "Do you know your problem?"
She said, "What?"
I said, "You are too intelligent to be a human."
She said, "Yeah, that's my problem. But how to solve it, how to fix it."
She didn't know how to solve it. Let me speak her language, "How to fix it?"
I said, "It is fixed. Don't fix it. You don't fix it. Some will come along who will find your intelligence and he will fix it. Your problem is you have intelligence; you are working through your intelligence. So when you work through your intelligence you think everything is like you." That's a one problem you all have. You all think everybody is like you, you are all cheat, so everybody is a cheat, you don't want to admit you are a cheat, you think other person is a cheat. You all have three layers of personality. If you call yourself so and so honest none of you. You are all out fishing. This is the basic ingredients of the human psyche. You don't want to admit it. You think a thief doesn't know who else a thief is? Everybody knows. But you want to look like a saint and tell the other person is a thief. It will never work. You got to learn in your life to be straight and then tolerant. Because you being straight may upset the whole balance because other person is not straight.
To presume everybody is straight is the first mistake. Neither you are straight nor everybody is straight, therefore you have to convince through not communication but through repeated effort that you are straight you are committed, you are honest, you don't mean any underhand business, you are not going to over cross something because you must understand every human has one thing which is intellect, won't let him go. That's called security. So I told this girl, I said, "Why don't you do one thing, don't use any of your own intelligence. Let us see if somebody comes along and things happen the way it happens." Well, two months later she was just buying in a store this health food store and she was picking right things and reading the labels and this man came by. He said, "Do you do the sales here?"
She said, "No, I am customer."
He said, "Well, sorry my apologies."
She said, "No, no, do you need help?"
He said, "Yes, I have been asked to go on a health food, I don't know what it is. So I saw you reading the labels so I thought perhaps you know better than me."
And she said, "Actually what do you want?"
He said, "I have been put on a mono diet by this YogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
from India."
(Students laugh)
She said, "What is his name?"
He said, "YogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
Bahaan!"
She said, "I am his student too. So what do you want, let me know."
So she took the list and picked up the things and put it in a basket and he said, "God, now what I'll do with this whole thing?"
She said, "What is your problem?"
He said, "Well, I can't ask you."
She said, "No, no, no, I am available. What is your job?"
He said, "If you can cook this and feed me I am willing to pay you forty dollars an hour."
Straight, in those days mind you, forty dollars... forget it! Four dollars an hour used to be a big sum. And she said, "No, no, no, you mean four dollars an hour."
He said, "No, no, no, forty dollars, I am entitled to pay forty dollars an hour."
She said, "Okay, forty dollars an hour, who cares! That's best. Best bet."
So he gave the address, he told he said, "Why don't you bring the ingredients then and take care of it and this is the key and please leave the food I'll eat it I don't mind but I have to got to Yoga class I am in hurry?"
She said, "I have to go to Yoga class too."
He said, "Well, whatever it takes, I'll eat later whenever it will be ready."
So they both came to Yoga class and after that they both left Yoga class and went all the way back to the apartment and she cooks for him and she served it and washed the dishes and left. After about six weeks, he said, "Sir, I have one thing to say. I am not your big student anymore but I am new but I don't know how to say it."
I said, "Well, if you now feel like saying it, say it. What is your problem?"
He said, "No, no, no, let's go in that corner." He said, "Can you do that sir?"
I said, "You must be Virgo."
He said, "Yes sir."
(Students laugh)
Unnecessary shy, they are... they don't mean it but that's how they are. It takes them a minute always to find out whether they are on the left foot or right foot. That's one of the Virgo sign's very authenticness. They want to know where their left foot is, where their right foot is, you don't. Among the zodiac there are two things, which you will always find very funny. A Virgo will always like where right foot and left foot is. A Piscean will always like where thing is going to circle around. You can't get out of these zodiacs by sneaking. Impossible! Never even try it. Each zodiac has a faculty, that faculty you don't challenge. If you challenge that faculty you are stuck. Now if you are dealing with a Taurus and you think they don't know where danger is if there is no danger they will create it.
(Students laugh)
But you have to be very mathematically explained what is what. If you ever deal with a Gemini and don't tell them what are the two sides of the coins are you have lost the game already. So there are certain propositions and problems in life when you deal with other human beings, they have their set faculty, set facility, set projection and set rejection. This exists in the intelligence of the body as intellect releases it for the human being to survive. So what happened I just went in that corner and I said, "What is it?"
He said, "Sir, that lady such and such is your student."
I said, "Yeah."
"And you have put me on a mono diet and I am very happy and I am very healthy. She met me in a health food store and now she cooks for me and I like her."
I said, "Then why don't you tell her?"
I(He) said, "God! I have told all many, many, many people and I have suffered. No more."
He said, "Would you like to hear my own history?"
And I said, "Wait a minute. Few days ago it was her history, now I have to go through your history, what is your history, come on sit down!"
So we satSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
down and we talked everything. And I told him I said, "You are a spoiled kid, your mother loved you very much and very sincerely and she didn't look at you whether you were right or wrong. Now you want a person who should be just intelligent enough to look at you whether you are right or wrong and should tell you."
He said, "What do you think about her?"
I said, "Well, fact is you have to reach her."
He said, "You do it for me."
I said, "Wait a minute kid, you are putting the whole load on me, I just don't want to deal with it."
He said, "No sir, you know better."
So finally when I looked at both of them and understood their whole basic ingredient of life, I found out something very simple. Both are very sensitive, both have a powerful projection and both do not know how to handle their projection. And both are very well to do, very rich, both are crazy living most unhappily on the planet. Because emotions are there to make you live. Commotions are there to desire you to want but that's not what intelligent people do. Intelligent people do not follow to act on the spur of the impulse. They want to figure it out every impulse has a intertwined relationship, I, me and them. Do you understand that?
So if you want to act on something you want to act you are not going to make any sense. And what we have done in our life is we are trying to become sick of a structure. We don't want a structure. All right folks, don't have it, at night let the aeroplane come, helicopter put a roof over you. In the morning take it away. But how you are going to live? Without structure and without becoming a institution you have no initiative in life left, period. You have three things left in your life without becoming a institution. Misery, misery, misery! Disappointment, disappointment, disappointment! Suffering, suffering, suffering! Did I say it clearly? And you don't have to go anywhere to learn. We make a house, we dig the foundation, we make the floors, we make the walls, we make the windows, we make the roofs, don't we do a structure? Structure your life.
Structure your life and serve it. That's called discipline. Structure your life and then serve it and put a billboard out. Hacienda-e GuruGuru

on the center of it, right? You see that? So the person knows with all the vividness a person will have a idea what he is entering, then he enters, then you find a gate, then there is a security officer. Then you walk in, bah bah bah bah bah, why we do all that? And in your own life, come in, go out, or free. Free of what?
Emotions are like guests. They should be treated very nicely and gently and send away if they don't fit in. And talk to them with logic and reason and tell them very nicely, buzz off! Because any emotion, any commotion, any situation is between you, me and them. So it has to be figured out, what figures out is called intuition and intuition only works if you have a meditationMeditation
Dhyan. It is a process of deep concentration or merger into an object or a state of consciousness. Meditation releases reactions and unconscious habits and build the spontaneous and intuitive link to awareness itself.
, and your mind works clear. It is the clarity of the mind, which must keep your structure alive. Some people I see act berserk... What, person looks at a human being and finds a dog barking. Now what is the idea? Your words can create a music in my ears and your words can create a bark in my ear. Explain what do you want? Come on. If I see your voice just barking in my ear first impression is get rid of you. If they create music in my ear, then first impression is what for? Understand family, family means familiarity to the point of death. You know the word familiar? Intimate.
Intimate or inmate is the same thing. You all are bound down in a cage called house and we call in spirituality haumai, ego. You are all in it, you are part of it. Like this tent, look at this. There are those small pillars, there are these big pillars, there are these ropes, the whole thing makes a tent, if those guys are gone you don't have... its structure is not realistic if this breaks, you can't sit under it. you understand? Every part of life has to take its weight and the right amount. So family is familiarity and intimacy is the inmate consciousnessConsciousness
The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality.
... you have to decide one thing, you want live or you don't want to live. The life is nothing but a prison in a ribcage. The soul is in the ribcage. Breathing is time, in and out. Why not to expand your psyche with love, affection and friendship? How you can do it if you have basically a tolerance? Tolerance and patience are two ingredients when adjective with kindness that your intuition will start working. You will find a way in every situation. If you act impulsive, if you?
Students: Act impulsive.
YB: Other person will act repulsive. Natural hei, dekho don't blame others. When you act impulsive, the response will be repulsive. Why? Impulsive means you are putting the full wrest, your harpooning something, you are not hooking it, you are not fishing it. Impulsiveness makes your behavior like a harpoon. The other person will do his best to run out, run away, avoid it. Are you there? You understand? If you want your way and how the other person knows you want it your way, tell me? Because your tongue is your best enemy or a best friend. It is not what you say; it is how you say it. It is not what I hear how it sounds to me. If I am stupid, I cannot take it, I cannot take it, forget it! Then you talk to me a language, which stupid can understand. Otherwise you are no good for me, I am no good for you because just remember life is based on a established communication.
Life is not based on communication. You are totally wrong in your life and in your prejudice against it. Life is based on? Established communication. The establishment is there then communication is there. If there is no establishment there is no communication, forget it. You are wasting your time. And the tragedy of life is once you do not how to establish yourself you do not know how to. Establishment of your personality is required to be... that is what word SatSat

means. Your reputation moves faster than you. Your identity is identified beyond you. Don't you do this thing to people; oh do you know so and so, yeah. Aaah, hey, hey don't touch it! Don't you do that? Oh so and so came to your home. Haa, yeah, yeah, thank God she has left. Or so and so came to your home. Oh thank you, God bless me. I am going to keep her for a week more. Why? In one way the understanding is established, the other it is not.
This word is nothing but a hooker's business and religion is nothing but people sell reality like a real estate. And everybody has a house to sell. But actually religion was meant to improve the mental, spiritual and physical condition of a person. The first religious book available in the world is the Vedas. You know what a Yajur Ved is? Yajur Ved is all about health, all about medicine, all about man. It's called a Ved. Rig Ved introduces you the vastness of the God. Rugg, rugg means the artery, rigg means the flowing artery, which digs out and Rig Ved is no big thing than a rig you make to bring the oil out, what you call that? Rig? That's a rig too, isn't it? Right in the center of the ocean you make the rig, you take the pipes down, you bring the oil up, right? Haa?
The wisdom of the rig is what can pull out your preciousness is called rigg. It is called Rig Ved. First book in the world, which tells you and introduce you to God is called Rig Ved. Ved means Vidya, which contains wisdom. And Rigg is no different word than English and than in Sanskrit, same word. Geography might have changed the pronunciation but geography cannot change the reality. So please understand in your personality you always get beaten at your own accord. Because you have no accord with you, within you and around you. You have to deal with your own trinity first. You have to deal?
Students: With our own trinity first.
YB: Then you can deal with anybody. Do you understand? No you don't. You know what actually you want. You want never to be caught and get away with anything. And any person who wants to have a lifestyle to get by is never going to get by, that's the principle of get by. Get by means you will never get by. There is a very popular saying in Punjabi,
"Sou Dinn Chor Da, Ek Dinn Saad Da."
Hundred days belongs to a thief, but one day SadhuSadhu
A holy man.
is going to catch him. You know what I mean? It's a very common saying. Hey (?) it, Sou Dinn Chor Da, Ek Dinn... and there is a Sanskrit thing,
"Paapi Ko Maarne Ko Paap Mahaa Bali Hei."
Don't kill a sinner, sinner kills himself. A rude person doesn't have to be replied rudely or being afraid of, rude person is enough to make his own life crude. And life is a very sophisticated experience, delicate, delightful. And you have to be very diligent in life. When delightful gets the agency of your wisdom, it becomes diligent. You understand the English word diligent? Converse people with people diligently. You listen to me? You are like getting mesmerized. Talk diligently, talk?
Students: Diligently.
YB: And listen patiently. Talk?
Students: Diligently.
YB: Listen?
Students: Patiently.
YB: And deal with your trinity and the other person trinity. Okay, one is I, one is you, and one is the Unknown. One is the?
Students: I.
YB: You, and the Unknown. So whether you believe in God or you don't believe in God, you like God or you don't like God, without God you cannot even move. That is why religion became very important, that is why religion became a force to exploit, that's why religion became a absolutely controlling factor, that's why religion brought more wars than anything else because everybody wants the reality to deal with life and life has a very simple reality. It wants to let it be. To be is to be is the reality of life because when you to be, when you are you then everything around you is relevant term and that's called relevant term means relationship.
The proportion and the projection has to have a balance. You can't pull life in one way. Then you will ask me question why we are stupid, why we don't understand it. Because it's a great satisfaction to be emotional. Emotion satisfies ego, emotions never satisfy wisdom, intelligence. Intelligence and ego have no relationship at all; they are North Pole, South Pole. To be emotional is a great satisfaction. People love it. And therefore they have to suffer. There is actually a religion, it's called realism and emotionalism. There are two religions in the world. Rest is all hotchpotch. If you look at everything realistically, you understand? Aren't you great? Haa? Wrong.
If you look at things realistically from your point of view and from the other point of view then bring to balance, then you are right. Because individual reality is always different. Geographical reality is always there but Infinite reality is Infinite reality, nobody can deny it. You can deny it but you can't deny it, it is there. So between a relationship and a relationship you have to deal with your own trinity with other person's trinity and with the trinity of the Unknown. That's why our mathematics stops at number nine. Three for me, three for you, three for the one. Nine. One and then zero, start again, it's called ten. You know how we came to the figures? Three for me, three for you and three for the Unknown.
Now look at this drought area, now it is raining; now they are in trouble. You know what they call that rain today? Million dollar rain. Because rain just let them know it's all not free, it can stop whenever it wants to. You have to understand life is a trinity within you, life is a trinity around you and life is also controlled by the trinity called God. G O D. And the guy doesn't let the control go. God will never let the control go because He owns this Earth, He owns the space, He owns the time, He owns the Universe, and what you are trying to do. You don't even remember there is a God. How can your life be all right? Give me a break.
All big deals of yours and your intelligence and your everything, tell me without God how you can exist and what is God, that unknown factor, that unknown factor, which changes the Newton's law of force. Third law of force of Newton is action has a reaction equal and opposite and it changes. Why? Because the Unknown intervenes for which there is no explanation. You understand? So it is better to believe in God and pay homage to God and don't mess around, rather than denying God and suffering because your all calculations will be wrong. Then what is the standard? Standard is I love it, you love it, you want me to eat, I want to eat it but is it in the name of God, that you have to decide.

Purity belongs to God, actually this means purity belongs to God and victory belongs to God, then what are you doing here? Purity means clarity, gem condition and you all want gem condition, you all want purity. Without purity there is no clarity and then you say cleanliness is Godliness. Yes cleanliness is Godliness, when you can see through something. What is a friendship? You think I clearly know her and she thinks she clearly... no, I am very complicated, nobody knows me anyway. But if I am not complicated what made me not complicated. You understand that? Because I know each one of you has a destiny and you cannot take distance from destiny. So what I do?
I say something again, again, again. First ten times, forget it. Second ten times... third ten times either you decide to quit or you stay. We call it border case. Then comes the fortieth situation. Then you give in and you start listening then life becomes smooth. It is all forty strokes. Chaleesa kende ne, and how many of you understand every person wants to hear forty times. What you call this thing?
Students: (-----)
YB: And what you call nineteen eighty-eight? What is the difference?
Students: (-----)
YB: Y. One is EAR ear, and other is?
Students: YEAR, Year.
YB: It's just the pronunciation, same thing. It takes a full cycle of the Sun to communicate one thing to anyone. Do you know that? No. The neurons have the capacity to inside the imbustion and combustion to correlate and to cooperate at the magnetic frequency to create its own nuisance in the Sun ray to which it reflects and deflects in the position to create a nominal circumstances in which it is called equilibrium of the brain and the (?) where it floats and acts and reacts it creates a membrane effectiveness and each membrane thus computes its own self in coordination of the other thousands and hundred thousands of its friends and thus a human functional system is established. It runs on a Sun energy of the year. Now you do not know what I am saying. But five hundred years from now those who will read this sentence will love it because you are dumb. You think what you hear that's it. No, three percent what you hear you get three percent.
Nobody hears more than three percent. Nobody acts minus three percent. It's again and again and again, therefore life is a Japa. What's a Japa? Again and again and again till you gain. You know what again means? When there is a gain then you stop otherwise again and again and again... it cannot stop. It can't. Now tell me don't you want to have gain in life? The principle is again, again. There is a one commandment in Sikh Sikh Dharma

YB: "aasan lo-i lo-i bhandaar," aasan, posture. It means creation. When creation reaches to its own ability of perfection it is called aasan. Aa come, San means sooraj, Sun, soorya. Sun. Haa-Tha, Sun and Moon. Your Sun must be under your control. Aasan, aasana, "aasan lo-i lo-i bhandaar." Light, light, lo-I, lo-I, light, light. Lo-I means when the candle is lit it is called lo, "aasan lo-i lo-i bhandaar." Bhandaar means... mmmm what you call bhandaar! Store. Warehouse! Not wearhouse, warehouse. Bhandaar, it's a fulfilled place with all the things you need. Aasan. When the Sun of yours is controlled within you, with the light, you will have all creativity for you. how clever he is. I mean his pronunciation and his projections are beautiful. Kar, Kar, Kar, Kar, do, do, Kar means hands, God's hands works. That's why He is called Karta Purkh. Kar, Karpaan. Strength of the hand. Paan means temper. If hand is tempered, then you have sword in your hand, it's called Karpaan. Kar Kar veykhe, Kar, Kar, sirjan haar, sir-jan haar, one who created you Jan, sirr your totality haar, sirjan haar means one who created you, Kar Kar vay-khay. He is dodo again and again He sees you. Kar Kar vay-kay sirjan haar, next?
"Nanak sachay kee saachee kaar."
Nanak truth has a truthful creation. Lies will create lies, truth will create truth and what is a lie? Detour of the truth. There is no such thing lie. Lie is to get extension of time on the space. Why I won't say something truthfully? Because I want to avoid the reality. You avoid confrontation that's why you lie. When you don't want confrontation you speak the truth. And when you want the confrontation you speak the truth to create a fight. Truth is confronting.
"Sach Kouda, Joot Mittha."
Sach is truthful, they always truth is bitter. Why? Because it creates confrontation. Why confrontation is bad? Because you are not satisfied within your trinity, therefore you cannot face the reality. When your trinity is not balanced in you, reality won't fit with you. and when you live with non-reality you will either live in a very exposed atmosphere thirty-five thousand above the ground or two hundred thousand under the ground. You won't be on the ground. Because reality masters the time and space. Non-reality has totally fog about it. It has nothing.
All of you when you feel you have nothing in life only you have nothing when you are faraway from your own reality and you don't have balanced your own trinity, you have not understood your within yourself you, because there are three trinities. One is you, one is within you and one is around you. That's why Saturn the great teacher has three rings. One is personal, one is impersonal, the other is social. You know Saturn social ring outside, it changes colors and impulses. It's very beautiful. Personal is always steady. Impersonal it projects. Back and forth. You follow what is the law of communication, you follow? You understand? Therefore if you biological as a human, as a human being let it be. You will be successful. Do your best, God will do the rest. What is best? When your beast is not in action. Yeah, that's best.
Good is when God is there, better is that you are not butterflying about it and the best is when your beast is totally tamed. You have the strength, the power, the go, but it is not going wrong.
"Aasan lo-i lo-i bhandaar, jo kuch paaya, so eka vaar.
Kar Kar veykhe sirjan haar, Nanak sachay kee saachee kaar,
Ek Ong Kar, aadays tisai aadays, Aad aneel anaad anahad jug jug eko vays."
You understand that? No, yes? No or yes? Oh now you understand how long it will continue. I know when I am in the class you understand it. When I am in the jeep you think you understand it.
(Students laugh)
When I am out of that barbed wire you forget it and that's the problem. You know Christianity talks about trinity, Judaism talks about trinity, Islam talks about trinity, Hindus talk about trinity, Buddhists talk about trinity, Jains talk about trinity. Every religion talks about trinity, GuruGuru

says beyond trinity it is not one trinity, it is three trinities.
"Aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay parvaan."
There are three disciples,
"Ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan,
jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai."
As he wants so he runs it.
"Jiv hovai furmaan."
As he commands it.
"O-hu vaykhai o-naa nadar naa aavai bahutaa ayhu vidaan."
Surprise is he sees it and you don't. You know what the problem is? Problem is there is a fight between you and God. God sees everything, God knows everything and you think He doesn't. The fact is you don't know a thing. I remember I was asking somebody, I said, "Where are you going?"
He said, "I am going such and such place."
I said, "Why don't you sit down and have a cup of tea?"
He said, "No, no, we are in hurry, it's getting late."
I said, "Be comfortable here, just wait for sometime. We will give you good cup of YogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
Tea and something and you relax and then you go little later."
"No, no, no, we have to go right now."
I said, "Okay go. But do me a favor when you reach, do call me that you have reached safely."
You know it's Albuquerque is from here about one hour, two hours, three hours four hours, finally I called. I said, "Hey, what happened?"
"Aah what should I tell you!"
I said, "What happened? There must be something."
"Oh my tire got bursted in the way."
I said, "That's all right, that's... half an hour."
"But I didn't have a spare."
I said, "What you did?"
"So I put the thumb out and came back and brought the tire, unopened the tire and put the jack, get it repaired, went again. It was a hell!"
I said, "How about a cup of tea now?"
Because nail was on the way and tire was ready. That's why when we start a car we say,
"Aad Sach Jugaad Such Hei Bhi Sach Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach."
Or we say,
"Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.

Or say God bless me, help me, be with me, whatever we want to do. What is the idea? Just to get space, just to be late. If you are late by nine foot of the accident you cannot have it. You have to do something to be late by nine feet so your auraAura
The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person.
may not be entangled with that proper moment, that's it, that's all is the deal. No big deal! Because if your auraAura
The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person.
within the nine foot is on that spot and time is on, time you cannot stop, space you can gain or lose.
So what we do, we start chanting and that's a customary hypocrisy or reality, all we are gaining is space. What we do at home? ArdasArdas
Prayer; the formal group prayer of the Sikhs.

Ki Fateh...'
How quick we may do... still it gives us nine feet. Why we start everything with a prayer? Why? Why? We pay the rare prayer because we pay the Unknown. We prepay Him, because in reality we don't want to suffer. So now what happens is religion becomes a ritual. Aah these Sikhs, whenever they start car they say yoyoyoyoo... I have heard somebody saying... what do they say? What do they say?
I say get a miracle ear, hear it. They don't say yoyoyoyoyoo... they do something very nice to themself. It's a very selfish act; they don't want accident, who wants a car everyday? You don't want trouble in your life so you have to deal with your own trinity and you have to deal equally with the other trinity and you have to equally deal with the Unknown. You have to deal you the confronting that and the Unknown Thou.

YB: Well, for the time being. And it's a psychology, it's not big deal. It's a logic, reason, and confirmation of activity related and interrelated. Are you okay? Then why you mess up your life? Give me the solid ground, why we do that?
Student: (----)
YB: Haa? It's not ego actually I tell you the truth. We have a capacity; a part in us is God. That's soul and we feel we can get away with everything. Therefore when we become impulsive we become narrower and narrower in our vision of totality. It's a short circuit. There is a very popular saying in Punjabi,
'Oh thu mu gad kar, gul kad gul teno pindo gadaegi.'
In this vernacular you understand? He says, "Hey you speak a word from your mouth and the world will throw you out of the village."
Because your effectiveness is what you speak. And your trust is what you speak and deliver. And your respect and goodwill is you deliver again and again and again, it's called Japa. Japa means Jee-Paa, Paa means get, Jee means the soul. Get to the soul. Repeat it, repeat it, repeat it to get to the soul. That's why GuruGuru

You want happiness in your life; you don't have to call me. You call your own inner chamber and see your trinity is all right. Understand and then you see what you are dealing with it is His trinity is balanced by your communication. Understand? And then also see that the Unknown is satisfied. When you talk with a high moral, high moral, high moral and innocent attitude. High moral, innocent attitude, you win. Yeah?
Student: (----)
YB: Have you seen anybody swimming when the tide is on? People who are emotional, people, God has to make lot of emotion in people to clean our floors and clean our latrines and bathrooms, and do menial job because people who are emotional will never be successful. They will always be in a setback. You break the continuity of your life. You will always be a failure and it has to be eighty percent because there are lots of jobs, which we have to do. But it does not mean you don't have a chance. You always have a chance to channel your emotions. Create a balance. People are not rich and poor, people are not wise and unwise, people are great and not great. You know you saw the primary, everybody ran and one came up. But one was very consistent.
Last night Jessie Jackson spoke and he got such a applaud you can't believe it. Because what he did is he put himself into the pain of people. And then said, "I am one among you and I am here because I didn't give into the pain." When you don't give into the pain you shall succeed. Pain is nothing but a signal where you have to come with a absolute excellence and totality to get out of it. And what is there to get out of pain? Stamina, grit and courage.
Three things can take you out of every pain. Stamina. You will ask me why? Because you will be rewarded hundred times. That's the law of the pain. From the valley of pain there is nothing but the valley of pleasure. And everybody has to go through the valley of pain to reach the pleasure. There is no rose without a thorn. And if you have the grit, you have the courage, there is nothing which can be done to you, you can pay-in, pain... dis-ease, when you are uneasy. Disease, de-ease. Yes?
Student: (----)
YB: Anybody, pick up anybody. You know when you communicate with any situation, it's me and the situation, them. Because one person who you are facing may have twenty percent with him.
Kripal Singh, I am dealing with her daughter, her grandson, there is a whole them of them.
(Students laugh)
No, no, that's a biggest mistake you always think. You think you deal with one person to one person, it's not true. There is no one person you are dealing with, it's always them. One always deals with class. There is a very common saying; "If you don't want to hang on a cross. Learn to deal with a class." And the biggest mistake how blind you are because you think you are dealing one to one, there is no such thing one to one. I am not one because I have big façade behind me. That person is not one, that person has big façade behind that and two facades have to meet.

YB: That's also biggest façade. That has to be considered also. Normally people used to say, 'God willing we will meet tomorrow.' They put God before, so it became a joke now. 'Are you sure,' 'sure.' But who the hell two (?) can be sure? If lightning struck, then who is to meet who. We have tried to live without God and we have tried to live with God. We have failed both ways, because God is not all, it is one of the trinity. Powerful though because unseen is always powerful. God knows what He is going to do; God knows how He is going to look like. But God is a trinity.
You are trinity within you. You have your left, you have your right, you have your neutral. It takes two wings for the bird to fly. But there has to be bird in, if you put two wings and there is no bird in, what's going to fly? Do you understand that? It takes left wing, right wing, and then neutral, Sushmana. IdaIda
One of the three major channels (nadis) for subtle energy in the body. It is associated with the flow of breath through the left nostril, follows down the left side of the spine, and represents the qualities of the moon - calmness, receptivity, coolness, and imagination. It is associated with the functions of the parasympathetic nervous system but is not identical to it nor derived from it. Also see Pingala and Shushmana
, PingalaPingala
One of the three major channels (nadis) for subtle energy in the body. It is associated with the flow of breath through the right nostril, follows down the right side of the spine, and represents the qualities of the sun - energy, heat, action, and projective power. It is associated with the functions of the sympathetic nervous system but is not identical to it or derived from it. See also Ida and Shushmana.
cannot exist without Sushmana. And Sushmana is very powerful. That is what makes the wings to go. That makes the... you know, you see the bird? Bird has a tail. It controls its course by the?
Students: (-----)
YB: And you are bird too. You have a tail, 'oh don't worry about this girl, don't talk to her she is a prostitute, she is a whore, I know her from the past.' Tail, it's a tail. It will control your directions. You call it goodwill, or you call it reputation or you call it tail. Bird has two wings and the center of it and the tail and then it has something very beautiful called beak. You know if the birds do not cry in there, they cannot be shot. So when they open their mouth they get the bullet. So basically we may look at life in anyway, the most important thing in life is its own terms what you say, what you speak and GuruGuru

YB: If you understand this PauriPauri

, you will understand the secret of happiness in life. Tinn Pauriyane,
"Asankh chor haraam-khor, asankh Jap..."
That's first, right? What is that first? Asankh Jap, yeah that one and the other one is? Asankh chor haraam-khor and the third one akhree naamNaam
, Nam
The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word.
akhree saalaah, if you put these three steps in life together there is nothing in life you don't know. You have to read them, you have to study them, you have to understand them and you have put them together. You have to put these three Pauris together. Yeah.
Student: (----)
YB: That is against ego,
"Aakhan jor chupai neh jor."
It's all explained. Jiss hath jor... oh there is only one line which is very important.
"Jist hath jor, Kar vekey so."
If you think all this you can scale over, all right try it.
"Jiss hath jor Kar vekey sor,
Nanak utam neech naa ko-i."
Many have tried, nobody is less. GuruGuru

established absolute ownership of God. Yeah.
Student: (----)
YB: No, in you is God, around you is God and confronting you is God, but the tragedy is you don't remember it, you don't see them as one. I will see you as separate. Fact is I and you are not separate. You know the problem with you is you don't see aurasAura
The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person.
. AurasAura

don't care who you are. They all relate to each other and intertwined and get going and touch of the auraAura

changes the color of the person, it means mind is already effective, it's going on. It's a whole thing being played right here and there are solid statues sitting, wrapped up in a piece of cloth being the identities. No, no. Satya the ShaktiShakti
The creative power and principle of existence itself. Without it nothing can manifest or bloom. It is feminine in nature.
is already in one identity. It cannot be two. You are a mirage.
Maya takes the ineffable into the realm of the measurable.
. When people say, "I cannot deal with it,"
I say, "Yeah, you can't, don't, don't deal with it, don't."
Because what you cannot deal with, will always be dead. The hand of God will deal the cord of life. Go with it or go without it. Because you must understand the corruption in life will corrode you, it won't let you be what you are. You don't have not to be corrupt, go, be corrupt. Nobody has to punish you, you will punish yourself. A constant corroding in your being is called corruption. Corruption is what you think? So man what did? Man made laws so avoid this, avoid this, if somebody breaks this, somebody breaks, somebody because what is the whole thing?
Life is supposed to be lived. That's the law. Live and let live. That's the principle mankind made. That's the peace we made with ourself. But it's very difficult because everybody wants to live off the other person and you are all interdependent and you are not nice about it, that's why there is a trouble. Whenever you are nice about it, there is no trouble at all. If I understand what your need is, you understand what my needs are, there is no trouble. But when you start needling me for your need forget it, who loves that... what they call that thing which has so many needles on it?
Students: (-----)
YB: Haa?
Students: Porcupine.
YB: Porcupine! Many of you are nothing but porcupine, even touch gives you two hundred needles and those are your needs gone into the blood of another person. Who wants pain? People run. And if somebody comes near you to make you understand you raise them all up. Have a nice day! Who wants it? Your need is very good and you want to needle, you don't care for any spirituality, you don't care for any morality, you don't care for any reality. Spirituality, morality, reality, you all put it on a hanger and you think you are going to get away with everything? Forget it! You are crazy; there is a nail on the road, which will get your tire. Don't worry baby, you will get it. And mind you that nail will get you when you don't have a spare. That nail is very intuitive. You always think you have a spare. No, there is a one nail,

Sahib. Hook of the, hook of the agent of God who measures your life is bad, is untolerable. Because what is God in you? Your will and when you are forced against your will it's very painful. There are some people who are very kind, when they are told not to be kind, they die. They can't live. Some people are very peaceful, you put them on a war, forget it. They won't walk two steps.

. And if you take the leap year then there is a Ragmala to it exactly to the very figure of it so that your ear may hear the year of the Sun and you call it Sun zodiac. In the west we go by the Sun year. In the oriental we go by the Moon year. Lunar calendar. Here we go by the Sun sign. They go by the Moon, mental. Because in the oriental they found out life is life but it has no meaning. If the mind doesn't make the meaning of life, life becomes very mean. If mind cannot spell out the meaning of life, life becomes very mean. That's why they totally went mental.
They want to know everything what's going on, how it's going on, what is longitude, what is latitude, what is this, what is predictable, unpredictable, what is normal, what is normal, what is mutable, what is fixed. The whole system of astrology was based on to know mathematically by calculation. They went far away, they wanted to see if the nostril is right they will proceed, if nostril is left they won't. They perfected the science to the time of Bhrigu. There is a Bhrigu Sangatha. A scripture Bhrigu wrote. He wrote all people who have to come, all who have come and all who are here. He wrote their total life. It's already there. I went to that place Hoshiarpur. He said, "This man is coming with three people with him. Their first names are these and first letter is this, this, this." And yes I looked around, I said, "Those three people were there."
Then it said, "He is coming from a foreign land and he has left his home."
Yes, I went from America, that's true, I left my home. And one thing, another thing and then I laughed back, I said, "There is..."
He said, "Do you have any question?"
I said, "What more question I can ask? It is telling me everything."
How can a man four thousand and twenty years ago write a book in which it is described to detail and you know these guys who have got those books they took those pages out everyday and they knew that those people are coming and they search it out. I mean they have pages out and I have always asked them, I said, "Those who don't come?"
He said, "They don't come. If they come they are there. We don't make it up."
And once you know funnily I was reading somebody's hand and somebody mocked at me, he said, "Well, monkey has a hand and it has lines."
I said, "Yes, monkey has lines."
"What do they read?"
I said, "They see it's a monkey. That's what they read."
Because people do not want to calculate, they do not want to calculate the trinity and that is the tragedy. What is the Christian trinity by the way?
Students: (-----)
YB: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Father is the wisdom; Son is the activity, Holy Ghost the Unknown. Same thing. Father is God, right? Son is Jesus, Holy Ghost is what? Spirit. Methylated spirit. Or the spirit you put in a car, energy. There are three things you should learn. Maraz, Garaz, Araz. Arz means request, Maraz means sickness, Garaz means need. These are the three things, which makes the life move. Arz, request. Garaz need, need. Maraz, disease. These are three forces. If you don't have a Garaz to eat you will never move, why should you bother. There are things in life you have to understand how the system works. You forget it. Just remember life is a trinity within, without and by itself. There are nine facets to life. Not you alone. All right, that is good enough, I think now it's going over you, everything. You have reached a saturated point, I can see, your auraAura
The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person.
tells me very good, I am not upset. Now whatever I say will go.

YB: I'll teach you tomorrow the power of the three Guna. Three GunasGunas
The three qualities or threads that make up the fundamental forces in nature and the mind. Their interactions give motion to the world, stir the larger Greater Mind, and make up the realm of our experience. They are considered inseparable and occur in unlimited combinations. They are abstract; you can only see their effects. They are the sattva guna for clarity and purity; the rajasic guna for action and transformation, and the tamasic guna for heaviness, solidity, and ignorance.
, three merits. One is Satvic, saintly; the other is Rajvas imperial, and Thamas the beast. All right. Well, well, well, may the long time Sun shine upon you...
