The subject which I want to cover with you today is very beautiful one and I am grateful and dedicated to the man who covered with me at one time I was very young and I fully understand if in detail I would not have been told the sequence of this subject there could have been lot of misunderstandings as a human and there would have been lot of suffering as a human. Spirituality and the allies. Alley you call it here is the service road, every house has behind there is a road which we call service road, or in between the houses if there is a path going through it is called the alley. It's a English word anyway if you do not understand the real meaning it in America is fine.

God created this Earth and the tattvasTattvas A category of cosmic existence; a stage of reality or being; a "thatness" of differentiated qualities. In total there are 36 tattvas. Each wave of differentiation has its own rules and structure. The final five tattvas are called the gross elements and have the phasic qualities and relationships of ether, air, fire, water, and earth. and the combination of the tattva is to create elementary situation like metals, like trees. Any kind of life or non-life. Now try to, I am going to go very slow and I just want you to understand. Any kind of life and non-life is based on the auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. . The non-life was given a auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. of foot a half, the life was given foot, three foot and half auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. and the intellectual and the intelligent life was given the auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. up to nine feet. There is nothing beyond this. And it is the auric body, which concentrates on different chakras and that is where your consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. has to relate to it. This movement from one center of consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. to another, from one chakraChakra , Chaakra The word connotes a wheel in action. It usually refers to the seven primary energy centers in the aura that align along the spine from its base to the top of the skull. Each chakra is a center of consciousness with a set of values, concerns, and powers of action associated with it. to another is called movement of the spirit in his alleys. This your soul actually travels. It is not in one part of the body. Rhythmically it's a huge volume of light which reflect in many different colors, but it does beam at one part of the body more powerfully than on any other part of the body. That is the called the beam center of the spirit.

That means if the reflection at the ajana or the third eye is very bright it can only be bright because the auric body is beaming at the ajana and the reflection from here is spreading out. That means the person is in ecstasy, person is in a very, very higher consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . As the beam is coming from the heart center it is coming, flowing out that only means the person is very much in love, very much in service and very much in giving in sacrificing. If this very life is on the second center that mean you are extremely horny, very passionate, very Earth bound. So in the level of rhythm of consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. there is no difference. And I have seen people and strangely enough lot of people which do not have clear mind, which do not have clear mind, they have multiple beam and so much so in the spiritual world there is a one danger. In the spiritual world there is a one danger and it's the most powerful danger of all dangers. That within your spirituality whether you are good, or you are bad, I am not discussing that, I am just discussing within good and bad whatever your situation is within your spiritual world you are satisfied. And specially in Sikh Sikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. DharmaSikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Dharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. this curse exist a lot, I have called a curse. There is no much worst curse in spiritual word than this and this will happen always in every other religion, but every other religion does not start with the power of the NamNaam , Nam The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word. . Every other religion takes a long route, long path to come to meditative, meditative capacity of the NamNaam , Nam The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word. . If you study Christianity the way I have studied, right from the base to the top when people in Christianity become not the reverends or the priest and all that. That's a socio-political preaching system, but to the point where people are you call them realized people in Christianity. You will be surprised they will just be into Hail Mary and nothing else or whatever they want to meditate on one word. You will be surprised ultimately in every religion, even Buddhism, in everything, ultimately it boil down to one word, GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. MantraMantra Sounds or words that tune or control the mind. Man means mind. Tra-ng is the wave or movement of the mind. Mantra is a wave, a repetition of sound and rhythm that directs or controls the mind. When you recite a mantra you have impact through the meridian points in the mouth, through its meaning, through its pattern of energy, through its rhythm, and through its naad - energetic shape in time. Recited correctly a mantra will activate areas of the nervous system and brain and allow you to shift your state and the perceptual vision or energetic ability associated with it. . And unfortunately when you enter to be a Sikh, SatSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. Sat Naam , Sat Nam The essence or seed embodied in form; the identity of truth. When used as a greeting it means "I greet and salute that reality and truth which is your soul." It is called the Bij Mantra - the seed for all that comes. Also called the gur mantra. GuruWahe Guru , Whaa-hay Guroo A mantra of ecstasy and dwelling in God. It is the Infinite teacher of the soul. Also called the gur mantra. Guru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is your word. You always stick to one word. Now that's very powerful thing in spirituality. And lot of people get lost, ah I am a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh and everybody else is nuts. These are the sickest people on this planet.

The definition of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh is he is humble like water and flows under the feet of all humanity good and bad equal. Whenever in the spirituality you are confined to your own self or to a realization that you are a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh you better it's my prayer, Ah akal purakh to such people they be dead before they even think that. Because this is the sickness, spiritual sickness of ego from which there is no, and there is no escape. There is no way out. And in spiritual world you cannot confirm somebody or confront somebody, neither confirm somebody not confirm somebody by saying you know more or you recognize the person knows the best. No, that's not true too. Because in realization it's a regal path, it's a path of God. Everything, which has been created here, everything is a balance to each other. Things are balance to each other therefore, things are challenge to each other.

When God will be kind to me and I'll be free from this cage, rib cage, where my soul is struck. I'll be delightful. But before that I am delightful that I have a chance of service of those who would not have been served otherwise. Now I can be limited, whether I am understood or not. How can a student ever understand a teacher? Never ever. You may know the entire city, but you will never know the alleys of the entire city. Even this little town of Espanola. You may know the entire town the main roads and all that, but still somebody knows an alley and he can carry you through. Where is the limit?

It is very amazing that once I met a very great sage and it took me a hard time to reach him and I had a interview. We talk, we satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. down, it was very heart filling. And he said to me he said, "Yeah yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. baba you have a day spare?"

I say, "Yeah, I have a day spare. What do you want with the day?"

He said, "There is a one man here I am going to go to him, meet him, would you like to come with me to meet him?"

I said, "Baba do you ever, ever want to meet a man? I mean to say world comes to meet you, look at me I have traveled all the way, four hundred miles to meet you."

He said, "No, no, I am not telling my any disciple, I just want you because these disciples are crazy, they think as the way you think, but I know you know better."

I say, "Whatever I know what do you want?"

He say, "This man is crazy, he is extremely abusive and he you know beat up people. But it's good to go and see him."

(Student's laughter)

I say, "God, he is aggressive, you want me as a protection?"

He said, "Well, take it that way."

(Student's laughter)

"Once I went to see him he took a big stick and ran after me to just make a kill attack on me for about a mile, I ran away."

(Student's laughter)

"But this time I think with you I'll be safe and we'll sneak out in the morning."

I said, "All right what is there to sneak out," I said.

He say, "No, no, no don't discuss it, you just tell me you want to go with me or not?"

I say, "Okay I'll go."

So at 4 O'clock in the morning we actually snuck out there was nothing, we didn't tell anybody, we didn't dress properly we didn't took any precaution for the journey and we walked out. Went there and at a distance we saw, very at a great distance.

He say, "Hey, look at this idiot bogus person, tell everybody he has reached God, hey you don't know anything about God you idiot why you have come to see me and bother this morning."

So I understood I got the gift.

I say, "Well, this is going to be rough."

(Student's laughter)

So he started yelling at him. Why people come to you? Why at all you do this? Why at all you do this? The whole thing went into a turmoil and I can't I am sitting here, I am bound down not to actually verbalize what happened. Well, you can well imagine. What I can't say that all happened. So finally he calmed down and he say, "what do you want, what do you want, why you are after me? Why you want to come to me? I don't want to see you at all, let people see you. Isn't God has blessed you that always people come to you, why you want to come to me?"

At that time I spoke.

I said, "Everybody requires to go to somewhere once a while. That's why we have come to you."

He say, "Who are you?"

And the abuse was that long you can't take it.

(Student's laughter)

And I said, "I am the same one in you who has ask who am I and who has really described me. I am really that one."

He say, "You admit, you admit, you are that ugly, you admit?"

I say, "Yeah, there is nothing bad to admit, because that's what you see. Because we have to come see you that's what you see and that's we want to admit."

You should have satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. then in few minutes afterwards this whole man was transformed and he started talking to us scriptures. He started talking to us beauty. He started telling us the God. He started telling us the ways to God. He started telling us the Brahm, Brahm anandAnand Bliss, ecstasy. Sarb Brahm AnandAnand Bliss, ecstasy. , Mann AnandAnand Bliss, ecstasy. , Sarb Mann Brahm AnandAnand Bliss, ecstasy. I couldn't believe it, it totally... I was just you know as far as learning is concerned everybody has a little advantage of that he has learned with so and so. You do not understand the spiritual words. Spiritual word is very effective, with whom you have studied, that matters a lot. It's a real in the spiritual world that thing really matters. Who is your teacher? It saves you lot of hassle. And it has always saved me lot of hassle. So I was very well saved there too. And when he started talking and relating to me and letting me know I couldn't believe what a great advantage and grace it was to be just in his presence. When we satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. there for few hours we enjoy the spiritual union and I ask him one thing.

I say, "Baba what is this why you scare people?"

And he said, "Do you know the yamYam Yam/Niyams "do's and don'ts; the ethical precepts defined by Patanjali. ? YamYam Yam/Niyams "do's and don'ts; the ethical precepts defined by Patanjali. is the deity of God, which is there to punish you. And angel is the deity of God, which is there to serve you." So yamYam Yam/Niyams "do's and don'ts; the ethical precepts defined by Patanjali. you call them demons and devils and some kind of thing. Devil is which takes away your will towards the God and then punishes you for that.

That you don't misunderstand you must...devil cannot punish you. There is no such thing devil take it granted. You cannot be punished for anything, but it take away your will. It takes away your commitment. It takes away your sadhanaSadhana , Saadhana A spiritual discipline; the early morning practice of yoga, meditation, and other spiritual exercises. There is a fight in this lifetime to be, not to be. Nobody can destroy you. When God will destroy you nobody can save you. But you destroy yourself by not to be. Only the main roads and the boulevards are not the cities or the freeways the highways are not the cities, but the alleys are also the cities. Don't you agree to that? But in your consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. you have no such thing, which is called tolerance. You understand? You acceptance, your acceptance of God is limited, you are ugly, because if you accept God then you accept whatever God is. God is you plus, you like dislike, don't like, like see, not see, seen, unseen and plus.

I was once counseling a very skinny girl, she comes from a very hot background. She is a married woman and she somehow got to a nursing school. And she told me she said, "Is it wrong to achieve a success?"

I say, "O sick woman all life woman prays for one thing, to have a home to have a husband. To have home and to have husband. You got a home, you got a husband."

Now she wants to blow it. I have counseled lot of people, but I have never counseled such a sick mind. I am very old now I talk to lot of people, I let them, but I have never seen a calm good GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh in her faith and her husband very loving. And I have never seen such a sick mind who for that little nursing cannot accept the reality of life. So there is always a fight between reality and non-reality. Why? Why there is a fight? Why there is a divorce here? Why there is a fight in between people? Why people are not happy? You know why? There is a one simple thing, it is very simple. We think Earth is permanent. If we just basically accept Earth is temporary then we have to accept whatever we do here and behave here has to be absolutely decent. We don't want to accept that.

When we say MayaMaya The creative power of the Creator that restricts and limits. It creates the sense of limitation that leads us to identify with experience, the ego, and things. Students: God.

YB: All things come from God, and all things?

Students: Go to God.

YB: That's the fact. That's a fact. That is a fact. If all things come from God and all thing go to God then where do you, where do you stand? Then your permanent home is God.

I give you another example, I know a girl and she came to me. She is a beautiful girl, I like her very much and she loves me too. And we have a good rapport and good communication. One day I asked her, I said, "Do you want to get married?"

She said, "Yes, but you will select a husband for me."

So I did that. Matchmaker as sometime I become. After marriage it was all right, but moment she got her first child forget it, after that first child neither there was a sadhanaSadhana , Saadhana A spiritual discipline; the early morning practice of yoga, meditation, and other spiritual exercises. When you recite a mantra you have impact through the meridian points in the mouth, through its meaning, through its pattern of energy, through its rhythm, and through its naad - energetic shape in time. Recited correctly a mantra will activate areas of the nervous system and brain and allow you to shift your state and the perceptual vision or energetic ability associated with it. , jap, Aad sach, Jugad sach, Hai bhee sach Nanak hosee bhee sach. Couldn't believe it. And the worst thing she did is she changed the diapers of that child so much that the whole thing become a total rash because all the time changing, all the time changing and tightening it so badly that she mess up this whole pelvic area. And there was nothing you could tell this woman. I know this skull is very thick thing, lot of things don't penetrate through it, but sometime nothing penetrates through it. So what I am trying to ask you is that this world, this planet, this ground, this Earth, this life is temporary. It will never be permanent.

I will not name that woman. Her destiny was to take GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's wisdom. She came to me as a yoga student, ten years ago perhaps, twelve years ago, and she has not learned one thing. She has not learned only one thing, she has not learned one thing not to slander. She slandered me, slandered my wife, slander my children, slander my staff, slandered anybody and everybody on this planet.

I told her, "I gave you a good name I should have give you a slander kaur."

(Student's laughter)

I mean that is, but the destiny people make that's called MayaMaya The creative power of the Creator that restricts and limits. Now anything else will be a mess. There cannot be any higher consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. than that.

Question is very simple today you have come here I understand seven to eight ladies are going to be here one week and they have to leave. I am very fortunate that I was not here and you were asked to meditate one hour and I enjoyed that distance, I enjoyed your meditationMeditation Dhyan. It is a process of deep concentration or merger into an object or a state of consciousness. Meditation releases reactions and unconscious habits and build the spontaneous and intuitive link to awareness itself. , but I'll like to see them in the afternoon to say hello and to say goodbye. We don't make this camp for anything except one thing, that whosoever we believe will come here, will be benefited. Benefited in the higher consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . Benefited to be graceful. Benefited to get rid of their fears and their traumas and their dramas. This camp does it. I don't do it. There are lot of people who serve me so nearly that between me and them there is not a distance of eighteen inches, but when you see them misbehaving with me you have never seen anybody so neurotic in the planet Earth. So I don't have any super powers, but I do have a technology, a methodology, a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's way in which I have found out that I could cleanse my consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. and everybody could cleanse their consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. and this is one area where we all sit down together and suffer.

(Student's laughter)

Yeah, we suffer, we really, very deeply suffer within the range of our ego we suffer. There is no husband to yell and scream at. There is no household or even ashramAshram , Aashram A community of practitioners who come together to live conscious, mindful lives. to order around. And there are lot of games which you cannot play and some people can only (?) not to play to those games only for a week. I wish and praise some day they can come for all the six weeks.

In Los Angeles I was talking to one of my son.

He say, "Well, so and so is there in the camp, she is supposed to come back in two weeks."

I say, "Forget it. I say that was just a bait to get her for two weeks. You are not going to see her at all."

He say, "Where I am going to see her?"

I say, "You can come I'll give her a pass out, but as far as concern to see you, see me in the Europe I'll take her with me."

(Student's laughter)

So idea is not here to give you the hardship. The idea is to make you sit at the feet of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and understand that this Earth is temporary, this time is very small. Average age is sixty-five years. Sixty-five year is not a big age, ten, fifteen years you don't grow at all and the last ten, fifteen years you do not know whether you are grown or not. So in between that time is to grow and if you do not grow and are not grown you do not know who you are. Elementary people are very few, elementary person is that who consciously considers within the consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. is grown. That faculty is the faculty of the ether. Akasha, akasha, akasha means the sky. Sky is on everybody, everywhere is the same. Wherever you look at the sky it is the same sky. The second faculty which akasha gives us is the air. Air is hot and cold. It has a temperature. Then the third faculty, which this akasha give us the water. It is somewhere and it is somewhere, but it has the faculty of fluidity, it flows through everything. Then it gives us the faculty of the fire, the Sun. But it is twelve hours and twelve hours not, except Alaska. Then what? What is next? Then it is your karmaKarma The law of cause and effect applied to mental, moral, and physical actions. Ego attaches us to and identifies us with objects, feelings, and thoughts. These attachments create a bias toward certain lines of action. Instead of acting you begin reacting. Karmas are the conditions required in order to balance or complete these tendencies. Though necessary, karma is not dictatorial or fatalistic. It is the mechanism that allows the finite experience of existence to maintain and stabilize itself. We all have free will and can take actions to re-direct the momentum of a karma. Student: Ego.

YB: And if you really want to taste the Earth, take a handful of Earth put in your mouth and try to swallow it, you can't. In American English we call my foot, put your foot in your mouth.

(Student's laughter)

That is the Earth faculty. So we have come here in our consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. to relate to our higher consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. to akasha that we can uplift ourself and exactly do what should have been done with or without the help. Here we just lay down the ground so that with the help you can all grow. When this kirtan was going on you were sitting, I just thought I have come to bow before the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and the court of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is in heavens. It looks very temporary, very beautiful. But fundamentally if you want to look at yourself from a point of view one who look at you and just you can go back ten years ago or twelve years ago who you were and who you are now, if that has not inspired you and shown you how beautiful you have become towards the higher self the akasha I don't think anybody else can certify you.

Idea is to know the unknown. And idea is to remember the unknown is in everybody. Those who insult you, those who command you. Those who disobey you, those who love you. Those who are with you. Those who are not with you, every facet of life if put together is that of the God. And you have to have that heart, you have to have that courage, you have to have that privilege in human life, in this life.

Funniest part ladies, I tell you the funniest part. One woman told me she is a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh.

I said, "Far out."

Man said, "He is a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh."

I say, "Wonderful."

And they had a sex problem. Oh my God, what is sex problem for true GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Sikh?

(Student's laughter)

I can understand as a American problem, she is frigid and he is too hot and this is too cold and all that stuff. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. says one line,

"Kasam visarey tekam jaath"

When she ignores the husband she is a prostitute chalo finished. Kasam means master here. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. established a relationship. We read in rayras everyday kasam visarey tekam jath Nanak navey baaj snath and without NamNaam , Nam The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word. man or life is that of a ghost. Snath means ghost. Let me definite ghost. Ghost is that soul in subtle bodySubtle Body See Ten Bodies. which cannot cross the electromagnetic field of the planet Earth. That is the worst curse ever one can have. If these two lines cannot decide, but what happened is it is called middle age crisis. When you grow little bit you want your husband to cater to you. Actually the husband wants you to cater to him. Then how we decide? We decide our life well I can go and have a job, eighty dollars a week, hundred dollars a week, four dollar a month I don't care.

I have never heard a more shocking thing. One husband told me when I told him I said "you have four children you have wife, you are Sikh of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ."

He said, "No, I can take care of my children. My heart is not into it."

I say, "O God. O unfortunate man, O cursed man, O unfaithful, untruthful man heart was given to you to love, it was given to you to pump blood. You forgot there are lungs too. You forgot there is a head too. Forgot there is a stomach too. Forgot there is hands and legs too." Passion, passion, passion. When passion becomes wild it destroys the compassion in the human body and without compassion you are a beast. To fulfill the beast.

I give you another example. One couple said, we are rich now. Look at that we are rich we are blessed, now we cannot live in the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das , The Ashram The grounds of Yogi Bhajan's traditional home and ranch in Espanola, NM, as well the surrounding businesses, gurdwara and langar hall. ashramHacienda de Guru Ram Das , The Ashram The grounds of Yogi Bhajan's traditional home and ranch in Espanola, NM, as well the surrounding businesses, gurdwara and langar hall. We had a terrible experience in Los Angeles, there was a doctor, MD and he was not behaving all right so everybody was telling me, he is misbehaving.

"How can a doctor misbehave?"

I say, "Why not?" I mean I don't understand why you lies that MDs have no right to misbehave. They are the sickest people. If they are not conscious they are very, I mean lot of use, you see the difference between our doctors and the MDs we have MDs in us because they do sadhanaSadhana , Saadhana A spiritual discipline; the early morning practice of yoga, meditation, and other spiritual exercises. Mostly professional people are very unhappy and unsuccessful in their life. Mostly rich people are very unhappy at home. Because inside and outside has to be unified. A professional person has an ego, granted, he can live, he can eat, he makes enough money. But what about the spirit, the soul? The relationship between the spirit and the body is not a temporary relationship it's a permanent relationship. It cannot be made now and then. And It cannot be made on weekly basis. All right Sunday we go to GurdwaraGurdwara Literally the door of the Guru; traditional place where Sikh worship services are held. seven days, five days rest six days we go to bar, it won't work either that way....

Side B

To reach to the spirit, to reach to the higher consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. , to reach to the boulevards, to go through the alley of the spirituality you must understand through every alley when you walk how dirty that may be, how beautiful that may be, how many flowers are there, how many ugly things are there still you are you. The word I am I am means through thick and thin, through beauty and ugliness, through grace and insult you will walk through as a graceful being. That is the spirituality. And this spirituality is available to you through the grace of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. This six weeks out of which one week is already over, now remaining five weeks just concentrate to challenge yourself. Don't ask somebody to challenge you then there will be a fight and we end up counseling. We don't want that. Challenge yourself, don't ask anybody to challenge. Why I couldn't love the entire universe, that is the theme. This is the theme of this camp. This is the theme of this camp. And the theme of the success I tell you one thing. Fruit of the success those only will enjoy who will be spiritual. You cannot enjoy this human success by richness and by power and by possession and by degrees.

I tell you I have done my Ph.D., I do not know I have done anything better than I did before and I was told today that there is a tape available, when I spoke in 1969 when I came to United States in Christmas it exactly sound the way I sound today. I mean to say it's a bad news for those who thought in ten years they have beaten me enough to change me they couldn't. Lot of people who love me or who are much around me have a very bad attitude towards me. They think with love they can change me, but they do not know I am also sitting on one point with love I can change them. So if I had a motivation that I am going to be changed because of their love then I should have been sitting in India and doing custom job. I have no intention to get changed and those who are fool and who have tried for ten years and failed they should find job somewhere else, because they could be in a better position to change somebody else. But you want any relationship with me don't be foolish, don't be blind. This is not me, I have come here to change you and my asking you to get change is for the better. Because I cannot see you suffering, I cannot see you in pain, I cannot see you in misery and I know it takes only a little change to get out of all the misery. And that little change is very difficult. To achieve that little change we have changed you from top to bottom, God that little change is still there. We hammer it two-three hours in the morning, we do lot of things. We sit here under this tent every Sunday. We talk, talk, talk we counsel, we approach, we do everything known in the human psychology to just bring in you one change. And what is that change? To get rid of hatred, and be loving.

You don't say you hate, you do hate. I don't like this, I don't like this crockery, I don't like this. I have seen some people I knew one person he was very rich, very rich and one day I ask him, I say, "With all this richness will it be possible for you to be just divine, little bit divine with it?"

He say, "Well, God has blessed me what divine, I am always divine."

But hand of fate changed and there was nothing. And when there was nothing my God, everyday japjiJapji , Japji Sahib The Song of the Soul written by the First Sikh Guru, Guru Naanak Dayv Jee. Saadhana opens with a recitation of Japji each morning at 3:40 am. A mantra, poem, and inspired religious scripture composed by Guru Nanak. Japji Sahib gives a view of the cosmos, the soul, the mind, the challenge of life, and the impact of our actions. Its 40 stanzas are a source of many mantras and can be used as a whole or in part to guide both your mind and your heart. , he decided to read one and hundred and eight japjis a day.

Now this is called bribery, it will not, it will have affect, I understand but this is not, this is not GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's way. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. And the greatest mystery which I have found, which I have found in me is I really most of the time this is about twelfth year now, most of the time I am being advised I should not talk to anybody. Some person is very obnoxious. Well, what is wrong if somebody is obnoxious? I didn't created a obnoxious person, I didn't created a loving person, I didn't created a devotee. I am nobody, creation is the part of God. My part is only to deal with them. Creation is a part of God, my part is only deal with them and my part is to deal with them as a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, it doesn't matter what the situation is. It doesn't matter what the environments are. It doesn't matter how much is the pressure. It doesn't matter what is going on and it doesn't matter what is going to happen. It doesn't matter at all.

Thy will is sweet to me O Lord, all I want to know thee. So you are here, you are most welcome, you have come all the way. You have left your husbands, your home, your children and everything. One thing I want to warn you and which is my duty to do that, you are getting little neurotic as far as children are concerned. I do not see children growing in the way I would have seen them. You are over lapping, over loving, over doing mothers and you are over sick mothers. Children are supposed to grow to shadow them and shade them with your personality it makes them dwarf in their personality. It is the worst you can do. And some of you are very sick, because your husband is not loving you, you use your children as a liver, as a leave way. It's a very wrong approach to use those innocent children. I am glad some children are fortunate they are going away from papa and mama. And they will be gone for two, three years just to understand the world and the beauty of the world and the education of the world. There will be no peer pressure on them, the school is beautiful, environments are wonderful and they will be happier than they are here. And it will be the cheaper way to educate them also.

(Student's laughter)

And the best thing I was discussing that day was that Sardar GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Charan Singh Hathouda our president SGPC was telling me that they have bought two buses and they will like to make all the arrangements to book these buses that they can take the children and take the children around and show them the areas which they have not yet seen, whereas on the other hand Baba Nihal Singh jiJi Soul; used as an endearment or sign of respect. who will be guardian of these children is also making arrangements to see that these children enjoy their winter holidays with a good saagSaag Curried mustard greens. , with a good butter and with a good milk and yogurt and with lot of other stuff. He was even planning a menu, menu sitting there what he is going to feed.

(Student's laughter)

Children are still here remember that.

(Student's laughter)

And what shall we do with them and what kind of game we introduce with them and you know make them praise, teach them how to have self-defense, show them gatkas and all that. I mean how fortunate these children shall be. Can you believe that? How the hand of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is acting to bless them? One million kiss, on million kisses cannot make a child a man, but one word of wisdom can change the fate.

I am very happy that they are going and I'll be going myself in January may be two weeks, three weeks, four weeks whatever time I can squeeze to be with them. A dream comes true. I always dreamt. You know I tolerated you for what? That you will bear children and then I tolerated you for another thing, those children will be educated in real essence of life and then what? And then those children will become the messenger of the God and the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and show this Earth the righteousness the path by their living example. That's the whole thing is about.

I understand that when you were born as children you were sometime not loved, sometime you were not taken care, sometime you have a wrong neurosis and therefore, those neurosis are making your lives little miserable. But one thing I want to tell you the way to get rid of misery is an example, which has come here in this camp. And that is Siri ShaktiShakti The creative power and principle of existence itself. Without it nothing can manifest or bloom. It is feminine in nature. Kaur sister who had a beautiful husband and they had a beautiful normal American life, now you don't tell me about 3HO I am talking something the person do not belong to 3HO and she is in this camp and her husband met in an accident. And hand of God saved him. I have met this woman and her husband at many places and they are here in this camp too. The way she takes care of this man is a eye opening truth, is an eye opening fact. And you shall all learn from it. God could not have send us a better lesson than this couple.

I have seen her how gracefully she serves him, she handles him and she cares for him. O foolish woman, O idiot woman, O unfortunate woman your stay on this Earth is very limited and why to be a prostitute for that little stay? Why to change man after man, person after person, what is in it? And if you have not learned and learn it now and if you could not learn by twelve years what I say, why not to see this woman who is purely American woman who had a beautiful man and now she is totally dedicated to this man. And my idea is to you so that you can prosper, you can understand and if you have never understood what life is about this is the chance. Challenge yourself. Woman can do one thing and it works fastest than anything, challenge yourself. Challenge yourself and get rid of your neurosis and your insecurities and you will find the word of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. will come true.

"Jisnu bakshey sifat salaah Nanak paatshashaee paatsha"

You will become king of kings when you take His bakshish, when you take His way, sifat salah and he will give you and that's the greatest gift is that God has brought you here.

"Ek be na dey dus be har ley, tou mooda kahhu kya karey"

If God takes away the ten gifts you have got and does not give you one more what you can do? So please try to understand ego is temporary. It is just your own mirage. It is your own hallucination. It is your own LSD trip. It is not a reality and it has destroyed you and it will continue destroying you. Get rid of these nightmares they are not real. They take away your juice that pranic ShaktiShakti The creative power and principle of existence itself. Without it nothing can manifest or bloom. It is feminine in nature. through which you could have been with God. It the same pranic ShaktiShakti The creative power and principle of existence itself. Without it nothing can manifest or bloom. It is feminine in nature. with which you try to elaborate yourself with the Earth with the same pranic ShaktiShakti The creative power and principle of existence itself. Without it nothing can manifest or bloom. It is feminine in nature. you can find God and you can be happy here and hereafter. I conclude Earth planet has ways and means and it has alleys. Let your soul recognize all of it and still be grateful, God is God was God shall be and God is the total creativity of everything and to accept God. It is required to accept everything with it. That's why when you start a life there are yamsYam Yam/Niyams "do's and don'ts; the ethical precepts defined by Patanjali. and niyams, do's and don'ts because there are always do's and there has to be always don'ts if you don't accept the don'ts and you accept the do's it does not mean anything. So you have to accept the don'ts and you have to accept the do's to push. If the boat water push forward and backward, no nothing can move.

Sometime you ask me question I am doing this for ten years, why I couldn't grow, why I am not growing? Because you didn't listen.

(Student's laughter)

You didn't listen. First job is to listen.

Sunthey puneet, kahtey pavith, purest are those who listen. One who says he can say only truth, but one who listens then he can learn. First listen then learn and then practice and if there is still any discrepancy come and discuss with the person you listened with. If I say do this for that many days this way, don't question me, just do it. And if something goes wrong come and catch I have a neck, get me from the neck. But you don't listen because you feel handicap. You feel your ego get hurt, it gets limited by listening. No, ego is a degree, you got it. Now you cannot cure a person, if I got MD I cannot touch that degree with somebody and his fever will go away, his every disease will go away, his tuberculosis will go away, his whole thing. If a surgeon has a degree, he cannot put his degree on a broken leg and the leg will heal. You are mistaken, you are just like that degree I am a human being, I am perfect, what is different me and anybody else. The different between you and anybody else is somebody has done it and you have not done it. Somebody knows how to do it and you do not know how to do it and you are not willing to learn it. Learned is the one who has learned and of all dangers I'll like to warn you of a spiritual ego that's the worst of all. If I get a spiritual ego this is how I'll be, I am Siri Singh SahibSiri Singh Sahib Honorary title given to Yogi Bhajan to indicate his role as spiritual leader of Sikh Dharma in the West. His complete title within Sikh Dharma is Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. .

(Student's laughter)

Yeah. All the time. People will say he is the super idiot.

(Student's laughter)

What is Siri Singh SahibSiri Singh Sahib Honorary title given to Yogi Bhajan to indicate his role as spiritual leader of Sikh Dharma in the West. His complete title within Sikh Dharma is Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. ? If Siri Singh SahibSiri Singh Sahib Honorary title given to Yogi Bhajan to indicate his role as spiritual leader of Sikh Dharma in the West. He has no faith in himself. He has not fulfilled himself. He is not willing to share with others. All these two hundred fifty facets what is his depth. His depth is infinity. What is his dimension? His dimension is infinity. What his direction? His direction is one to be happy and make others happy. That's all is. Anybody wants to be Siri Singh SahibSiri Singh Sahib Honorary title given to Yogi Bhajan to indicate his role as spiritual leader of Sikh Dharma in the West. (Student's laughter)

Come on, sit on that chair and it will let you know in two days, which way the wind blows.

There are three things very difficult in this world. Three things are very difficult. To serve a living master to obey this is first degree. To serve a living master and living master is what come on tell me? Living master is not a man, man dies, master lives. Fools try to understand that. Living master is not a man. Living master is the word of the man, the ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. Shabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Shabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. GuruShabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . And its most difficult to serve a living master. One who dies is not living. It is living and dying master. You want to serve living master. All these people who put their personal gurudom outside they say serve the living master. It means serve me, forget it I have got both hands and legs I can serve you better than I can serve myself to (?) with it. I don't want you serve me, I don't want you to have any misunderstanding as a person. Serve a living master means serve the word, word is only one thing, which lives forever, wisdom said. That's why we worship the ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , that's our living master. It is difficult to serve a living master. Living master is sitting there, he does that. Has GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. Sahib ever related to your neurosis? Has he asked you to take you out of dinner sometime? Have you anybody of you is successful to take your GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. out in the restaurant for a dinner.

(Student's laughter)

No, it is living master. And it will say the same thing again and again and again,

"Mann tu jyoth swaroop hein

Eh mana meriya tu sada raho harnaley"

Same things again and again it will never change. If the master changes it is not the master. It is difficult to serve a living master. It is very difficult to love, because when you are in love, God always hundred time is in love with you. That's the best way to attract God power. It is difficult to serve a living master, it is difficult to love and it is difficult what? It is the most difficult is to obey. Because when you can obey you can always command.

It's my prayer that you have come to the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's court, you may be blessed and you may understand that Earth is with roads and with alleys, don't hate alleys and love the roads. Don't love the path and hate those who are walking on it.

(Student's laughter)

I cannot talk to her, I cannot talk. No, no, you know I cannot.

I say, "Please speak."

"Why should I speak to her?"

"Oh my God I can't believe it."

I can't believe, I can't believe. I can't believe it what is going on. It is not difficult to talk.

Then I say, I say to you talk to her.

(Student's laughter)

And do you understand at this pitch I have to repeat it about hundred times a day what will happen? I think the future Siri Singh SahibSiri Singh Sahib Honorary title given to Yogi Bhajan to indicate his role as spiritual leader of Sikh Dharma in the West. His complete title within Sikh Dharma is Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. may have to repeat it thousand time a day and then they say sometime I have heard them saying, "Oh he is a Indian, you know it is his way, he doesn't understand America?"

Now wait a minute. They are my students, they are my staff, they are working with me and I am their guide, I am their guidance and this is the certificate I get at my face I have heard with these two years. And forget about him he is crazy, he is hehe I don't know what his trip is. He wants to talk to everybody, it doesn't work in America."

(Student's laughter)

Why not? If you have learned in America not to communicate why can't you learn in America just to communicate with everybody? If person is sick, tell him sick. You are sick, sick say it hundred times.

One student told me, "Yogiji, what did you say?"

I say, "Well, I told you are sick."

She say, "Nothing affects me if you don't say ten time."

I say, "I'll say eleven time, you are sick, you are sick, I count you are sick, you are sick, you are sick, you are sick, you are sick, this is nine time, ten time is you are sick and I guarantee it."

She said, "I understand now."

"Now what then next I have to do?"

"What you can do?"

(Student's laughter)

I say, "Now listen to that."

She say, "What?"

I say, "Don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick, I say nine time, ten time, please don't be sick."

She said, "Okay."

(Student's laughter)

And if some member of my staff would be around at that time they would say he has gone crazy.

What to do, some people say they can't understand if you don't tell them ten times.

I say, "Tell them hundred time, tell them thousand time."

"GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ke math leh aney bhagatBhagat A devotee of God. bina bhou dubey saney"
