We'll talk about Nanak, prosperity and perpetual bliss. That is what Nanak stood for. It is true that we appreciate him as our GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and it is also true the world recognize him the man who brought us the light and save us from the tragedy of this moment of human torture and treachery.

You have to understand Nanak in the light of the environments. In his own words he said, if the equal fight with the equal there is no grief, but when a jobber, when a tyrant fights with innocent people, is it that God you have no chance to look at it from the point of your mercy.

'Je sakta sakte ko maarey taa mann (?) hoi.'

If equal fights with each other, my mind will not be disturbed and then in the end he said,

'Eti maar payi (?).'

The humanity has been butchered to that brutality that is it not that it has caused you a pain? That was his compassion, that was his appeal to God in his own words. But it did disturb him, he describes in his own words that people who were kindly living in their homes, in their palaces and the princes and the princesses who never even allowed a little straw come near their dresses their heads were rolling in the dirt and their bodies were being torn by the dogs in the street and he describes in words that it has become so inhuman on the planet and there are so many millions of people are dead and butchered and tortured that it would have been better in one stroke a earthquake would have come the whole world would have been wiped out, that could be the will. But the saga of that time, the Mogul, the people from this Turkish area and Persia they all got their forces together and they thought they are not anywhere but they want to have all the wealth of India and the wisdom of India. Instead of not having the wealth and the wisdom they came and they just attacked and they plundered every human life, every living resource, everything whichever ever existed, that was the time of Nanak and just understand this lonely man, stood before emperor Babar and told him, "That this is what Islam has taught you and this what you think you are and this is what you are as a human being, what you are doing right now is below even you cannot be proud to be called yourself a man, forget about a man of God, or belong to any faith." And this lonely man stood against this most tyrant ruler and brought him the wisdom. He was imprisoned, but they realized.

The concept of life GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. teaches is very simple and very funny. Normally it looks like leave everything to God and then a common person says and wherever he is a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. of the householders, he is a Lord of prosperity, he give us tranquility, a common householder says if I have to depend on everything for God then why I have to do my day to day things. He gives a very good example. Choose not limited, choose unlimited, go not for defined purposes, they may not contain all the happiness for you, go for the Infinity. If you take a little boat and want to go from New York to London you have to understand what it involves. But if you sit in a luxury liner it will be convenient. In both you have to be confined.

The tragedy which GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. has been teaching the mankind is that hassle is the same, energy is the same, it's a question what your scope is, who you want to look to, how vast you want to go, how long you want to travel and what strength you want to take to start with. What is your goal?

He says, God is Infinity within the Infinity, it is impossible to find it out, then why not go with the impossible once for all than go for the little possible and then get struck. People don't understand, people think GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. teaches leave everything to God, everything is fine, what we are meant for. You are meant for even eating your food. You do not know how to even chew your meal. What you are meant for everybody knows. I mean to say, forget about your bogus claims and your big talk and all that you say, but fact is, you maybe multimillionaire or you maybe a pauper, you have to chew the meal. And if you want to know what happens without chewing the meals then you will know it in days. All he is asking your strength, aim high and then stick with it. He challenges the spirit of the man from day one. His continuity in that light is the privilege of the mankind. Not understood today, specially not at all, in the end of the Piscean Age we have become so freaked.

We have a very empty mind, we cannot take pressure of the environments, we are not in a position to face the reality and this reality which we are born to face we seek teachers, we seek guides. But why you are seeking all, it's fine to seek guides, if that's the way you want to look at it, but why don't you seek the guidance of your own consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. ? What is so wrong? Why can't you not look at your own soul? Is it so difficult to look in the mirror of your soul? Is it so difficult you look at your own consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. ? Whatever you think you are going to be happy about, actually you are going to be unhappy about. Because the concept when concept in conception become limited life becomes bored and that boredom is enough to kill you.

In all the teachings of Nanak he taught it as a very refined, wise, enlightened human being. He was extremely humble. He taught at the level of a ordinary common person, he understood the pain, he taught in a language which can be understood, he lived that life and showed the path. A son of a revenue officer has become immortal, he progressed in a life in a total faith and Infinity and he says his own words, it takes the same energy to have faith in Infinity than it takes the same energy to have faith in finite. We are entangled in our reserved environments.

I don't want to add anything, but in my sixty-three years of life I have seen, including me personally, everybody acting stupid. Little difference which I have learned in my life when I start acting stupid I ask myself, it is worthwhile? Ambition is there, desire is there, need is there, it's a fun. Why not? And then I ask myself why so? I have sometime fought with why not and why so personally and then I take up a shabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. of Nanak and then it comes to me, if why not is why not, then why so should also prevail. If why not is so urgent for me, why so?

A same thing happened, somebody gave me X amount of money which was over a million dollar and I had to accept it because that is acceptance is the rule of thumb, you know I am a head of the religion. Then I kissed it and then I gave it back. Why so? In every aspect of action and reaction, sequence and consequence has to be endorsed and fixed, it can never change, but if you start with inferiority you will end up with inferiority. If your road stops in a dead end and you have made a choice of that road, then you should be mentally ready to stop at the dead-end and not blame anybody.

GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. says, going for the dead-end is wasting for the life.

'Thapia na ja, kitha na hoye, apey ap, niranjan soye.'

He said, "You cannot, you cannot classify and you cannot define God."

He said, "God is so vast he doesn't know himself know, how big God is."

He said, "Oh crazy man you do not know who you are, so God created you in His own image, so if God doesn't know who He is, so why not to go along with one who created you, let us sit in the company of the equal. Let us think like God, God is Infinity, so we are Infinity."

And you know how calm, sober, quite, peaceful, tranquil feeling comes to you? You know how much prosperity and bliss comes to you? Let us come to the western world, Casabianca was not a millionaire, little kid, child. French ship was going to breakup, captain ordered, 'abandon the ship,' he stood with the flag of France. Captain ordered again, "Young boy abandon the ship."

He said, "Sir, I am not with the ship."

"You are with the ship."

"Sir, I am not with the ship."

"You are standing with the mast of the ship."

He said, "I am standing with the flag of the France and I'll go with it."

"I order you to abandon the ship."

He said, "That's it, I am not going to abandon the flag of my country France, viva France."

Today the entire France celebrate Casabianca day, it's a national holiday. It's a day of the pride of the nation. What academy he went tell me? How great he was. It is that strength of the soul, that Infinity, that understanding, that commitment, that character which makes you worthy of the worship of the whole world. Second world war how many million people died? Millions, it was a very tragic war. It was man to man, benet to benet, rifle to rifle, bullet to bullet. But these six hundred they are sung today, there is not to reason why, there is but to do and die, rode the six hundred into valley of death. They knew it orders are wrong, they knew the cannon will chew them up, they knew it is impossible.

I have found since so many years searching out one word in English only and I found it yesterday which fits into that idea, stick it out. I have been telling you twenty years keep up you don't understand. When I say keep up, you say why? Keep up with the Infinity, that's what I say. Keep for the God spirit in you, that I said. Keep up what Nanak has said to us. Trust in God and dwell in God as Infinity. But we don't understand word keep up, let us understand stick it out. Stick it out from the day you understand yourself or you don't stand under that you are Infinity. Why not? Answer also why so. If you get an equal answer for why so and why not, figure it out. That will save you from lot of tragedies in life.

Life is a one chance for happiness and it has to be experienced. With your irrational rationalization and illogical logic and uncommitted life you make no sense. That's why people who do not develop sixth sense does not have very bright future. I understand we need eighty percent idiots, that's understood, that's a part of the society. Even in the great masters of strategy they advise the king don't teach common people, their awarenessAwareness The pure nature of existence; the power to be consciously conscious without an object or need. A fundamental property of the soul and true self; it is Kundalini as it folds and unfolds itself in existence. will bring in hand your revolt. So in other words, if the state keep people dumb and there is a majority of the idiots so you have a herd, you can herd them anywhere you like, life will be very convenient. That's why when it was time of Stalin, he wanted to rule Russia with a iron grip. One thing he did is took about two, three million all intellectual, intelligent people and wipe them out. Normally this is what they do.

When the Babar came, the only thing he did is he found any holy man, any wise man, any philosopher, any man of God, they were all put to sword when it came to Nanak. This is always the pattern of the conqueror to break the spirit, but unfortunately, when our emotions conquer us, we also break the spirit of our own future in our own hand. We do not understand the tragedy of our own ego, why so? We are brain tired. Yes, caffeine, coffee and Coca Cola and other stimulants and vitamin C and all that stuff can keep you going physically. But you are brain tired. You do not understand brain tired is a half sleep and half awake person. Dormant; dormant cannot dominate and without domination there is no life, there is no fulfillment. Our life is like that a big food plate before us and we have a toothache, plus our stomach is upset, plus we are sleepy. How many of you will like to eat? Brain tired is like person who is sick in a hospital and all they give him soup and sometime they give him food through intravenous, that's how our society has become. It's a bundle of emotions, tremendous commotions, we want to do lot when we cannot handle even one action.

The reason? This brain is worked out and worked out and worked out and there is no time for meditationMeditation Dhyan. It is a process of deep concentration or merger into an object or a state of consciousness. Meditation releases reactions and unconscious habits and build the spontaneous and intuitive link to awareness itself. , there is no time to be calm, there is no time to be quiet, there is no time to be me.

I brag about I, I talk about I, I lay out my I, I get my I entered into everybody's affairs, I put my nose in everybody's life, but look that I, I doesn't have a moment to be I alone. That pure I is not understood. I entangle in relationship, I mingle with people, I talk, I hear, I see, but there is nothing to see. I don't even see that I am brain tired. If I am physical tired my headache comes, I take aspirin, Tylenol. Some other stuff. Does that take away my headache? No, it numbs me. We have been practicing numbness from last fifty years. A situation used to happen like that, we'll go to a doctor when he will find a circumstances he will give us a injection of morphine. In very old time when there was nothing to do, people used to medically prescribe opium to such people and flat them out for five ten days, so they can recuperate in their normal essence.

Today there is no chance, we don't have time to recuperate, our ego has become bigger than us and that is what Nanak describe at the time of Babar to all those rulers, folks, look, if you would have satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. down at sometime be yourself and your intelligence and your life could have worked it out, this monster would not have come and plundered you. Exactly let I am saying to the individual in the words of Nanak, if you can give yourself early in the ambrosial hour something to widen yourself, something to go vast, something to look bigger than you, not you alone and something to purify you as you and understand the depth and the strength and you can clean your own house. Everyday you can put things together in order in your own home so that you can understand the tranquility of life, you will understand Nanak better than anybody else.

It is very astonishing how much we are plundering our intelligence and our intellect and our consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. , I was amazingly looking at certain facts. We do believe children have no destiny. We believe they are a furniture, we raise them according to our standard as parents. No, we are supposed to give them values and let them practice it. We have to show them the width. We have to show them the strength. We have to ask them and challenge them. It is job of every honest parent to challenge their children, it is the job of the mother and father to sit down and ask their eight year old child, teach me Nanak. How many of you have done it? And when the children go crazy, you blame them? Don't you blame yourself? Are you not ashamed of your arrogance and your ignorance?

I remember when I was five year old I was given a turban, I was considered to be a man and first that evening I was asked to see my grandfather, he put me in his chair, first I was very reluctant.

I said, "No."

He said, "No, today you are a man, now sit in my place."

Now God how I can do it? So it took a lot of courage and lot of poking by him, so finally I satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. down, I said, "Can I really do it?"

He said, "Yes, one day this chair will be empty, you will sit in it, get up, up, up there, sit, sit it is not going to harm you."

I said, "Okay if I can please him with this little thing," I jumped up in the chair, I satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. down.

(Student's laughter)

He said, "Okay, now teach me how life is."

I said, "Wait a minute?" I said, "What do I know how life is?"

He said, "If you do not know today you will never know it tomorrow."

I said, "I am supposed to learn life from you."

He said, "That's a different story, today you are a man, isn't they told you that day in the morning?"

I said, "Yes."

He said, "Now, tell me what life is."

And I recollect my those words and I said, "Life is as I make it through the wisdom of the ancient into the absolute projection of tomorrow where my ancient words will sound as new for tomorrow."

He said, "You know it quite good."

I said, "I made it up."

He said, "How you recollect them?"

I said, "Three days ago you taught me these words I still remember them and I just used as I."

He said, "I see. Now give me something which is purely yours."

I said, "Purely I am very happy to understand that maybe as a five year old I have teach a man like you who is a teacher of the teachers and therefore I say courage is the only thing which man can demonstrate at the time of challenge, I am afraid you are my wise grandfather and I have nothing to say to you, but I say one thing."

He said, "What is that?"

I said, "Be fast and teach me everything, you give me very little time."

He said, "Are you protesting or requesting?"

I said, "Both."

And then one thing always happened, he gave me maximum company and I used to share his very fantastic food which was I always want to do, because it was very well done, sweet, nobody will take effort to make for me. So I used to enjoy that, plus there was a inborn hope seeing that man that tomorrow will have for me exactly what he knows, so grabbing the knowledge, the urge to grab the knowledge got inspired. And today we all understand we have Nanak, father of the fathers, wise of the wise, acknowledged of the knowledge, being of the beings and it is open word, it is Siri GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. . The sole spirit and wisdom of Nanak, we are never going to be slave again. We are never going to be ridiculed, we are never going to be used and abused.

No man shall rule us, we bow to no man, it is only the word of God, the wisdom, the experience, the truth. It is as beautiful as a human is, it is as truthful as truth can be, it is as vast as we can go, it is as great as greatness we can achieve and there is nothing in between. It is my word and GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's words and our word at large. The trinity is complete for a Sikh. He can learn, he can learn for himself, he can learn for his family, he can learn for his friends and he can learn for his enemies but without being learned, life is not happy and the purpose of life is nothing but pure...

Side B

All of you who are blinded by emotions and sucked by feelings and totally you are absolutely your ego is unmeasurably demonstratively makes you totally not that you are sarcastic or angry, but you have a tragedy at hand. Time doesn't wait for anybody and impression is carved deep, cut of the word is worst than the sword. And you have a ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. Shabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Shabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. GuruShabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , word as your GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . So what you say, you speak and hear, think and talk the body language all creates a word. And you are born to rule the world, not to be slave of it. If you do not have this word with your spirit and enlightenment, there is no heaven for you. You have the fundamental birthright to be prosperous and perpetually in bliss. You are born to be beautiful, bountiful and blissful and nobody can take away from you if you are not acting as a stone head. If somebody who is very proud New Mexican decides, normally you have the right to decide, I am not going to interfere with your life that you will have a very special journey and that journey is to travel from New Mexico to New York on a pony, on a donkey. This will be very enchanting and enlightening. You will meet lot of people, you will see lot of sceneries, but when after six months you will reach there you will need four months to rest, whereas it takes only four hours.

Yes, at the time of Jesus, the only thing available was donkey. The only reception which we could give him, the son of God was the palm trees leaves and we still celebrate Palm Sundays. But it was then. Today the red carpet doesn't mean a thing. It is not a jet age any more, it is the age of a billion time computer. Now the permutation and combination will work and that is why we call him Siri GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. , because each sound of the shabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. and the naadNaad The inner sound that is subtle and all-present. It is the direct expression of the Absolute. Meditated upon, it leads into a sound current that pulls the consciousness into expansion. and the surat the trinity combines in shabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. and surat and creates the naadNaad The inner sound that is subtle and all-present. It is the direct expression of the Absolute. Meditated upon, it leads into a sound current that pulls the consciousness into expansion. and changes us for that Infinity we are born as human. Some people say this place is good, this place is bad, places are good and bad all places, it all depends on the jet stream. How the heaven affects the upper velocity to create the lower and high pressures and high and low pressures changes our metabolism. And every metabolism change affects our brain. Heavens are there, we are there, surroundings are there and training is not there. Time is not there.

I was asking somebody in Rome, "What is your routine?"

He said, "I get up 7:30."

"Good."

"I take Turkish coffee."

I said, "That's very good."

"Then I walk into the bathroom and I wet myself."

He didn't say 'I take a bath.'

"And then I towel myself quickly and dress up in three minutes."

I said, "That is super good."

"Then I grab my sandwich and then sit in the car."

I said, "That is marvelous."

And he said "I drive to work, by the time I am there I have finished sandwich and I listen to the radio."

I said, "That is perfect training."

"Then I go to the office, I take a cup of coffee."

That was not Turkish coffee, coffee.

"I say hello to my friends, I get to my work, but I have a problem."

I said, "What is that?"

He said, "Till 11O'clock I cannot work, it's not together for me."

I said, "That is nice."

He said, "I work two, three hours, but I do pretty good. By the evening I am bored to death."

I said, "That's very smart."

"Then I go to the café in the way and I eat my lunch."

Can you believe 5:30 the guy is eating lunch?

I said, "No, it must be evening tea."

He said, "I don't take lunch, I take lunch then. Then I drive back home and I have couple of drinks and I am relaxed."

I said, "Do you talk to your wife?"

He said, "Whenever she wants to talk to me."

I said, "How many children you have?"

He said, "I think four."

(Student's laughter)

I said, "You have five children dummy."

He said, "But that is what I have come to you master, I am absolutely sick man, I do not know but what sick I am."

Now can you believe when you are sick you do not know how sick you are? And you believe there are people on the Earth who have five children, they do not know they have five or four? Can you be that brain tired? Can you be that routine of life? Can you just live in that routine? What is the use of swimming in the town's sewage canal? What is the idea of playing in a garbage pit? It's a time to wake up, it's the time of house cleaning. It's a time of raising our consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . It is time to enjoy the beauty and the Infinity of God and His creation, it is time to see God in all, it is time to stand the test and stick it out. It is time to keep up, it is time to love and know Nanak more intimately than you ever have. It is my prayer when I'll be gone, you will understand the pair of the opposite should not affect a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. and the tragedy of trinity should not affect a Sikh.
