YB: ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. Guru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. that is, there is a balance on this Earth. There is a balance in time, there is a balance in space, there is a balance in Earth. Every moment of your is in balance. Good and bad are in balance. Light and darkness are in balance. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. takes GU-RU, takes from darkness to light in balance. It is not properly understood these days what a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is. When you in coexistence of your psyche and electromagnetic field of your life you exist, you move, you create your life, you deal with every day. That is a daily life, living. But when you coordinate your life and you command your life, that is also living. When your conscience in command of your life, that is GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . You consciously live. Consciously command your life, consciously take your actions, consciously... Even if you are conscious that what are you doing is right or wrong, you will get that guidance within you, what is right or wrong. So long your emotions, your feelings, your attachment, your greed, that guide you, your consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. will not guide you. Because whatever is guiding you at that moment is temporary. It is that benefit in that time and that space.

When you have a benefit at that time and that space, definitely you have a loss in that time and that space at the same time equal which is showing off. Because when you went after something and you gained something, then you have lost something at the same time which you could have gained if you would have guided yourself consciously. That is DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. , that is GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . It's a very simple coexistence. It's not something that is very serious discipline and you can only earn it by hardship.

There is nothing wrong to have emotions. There is nothing wrong to have feelings because intellect will release thousands of thought and it will come. There are millions of feelings and zillions of emotions. There is no doubt about it that that's your guiding force. But also when you move, you move consciously. There is a two thousand horsepower car under you. You move, you move with your own handling of the steering gear. You do not move because car wants to move. You have the right to control the speed, you have the right to control the direction, you have the right to control whether you want to pass somebody, or you don't want to pass somebody. You have every right to drive that most powerful vehicle under you, exactly this is how mind is.

Mind is not denied and the power of the mind is not denied. Foolishness is, not driving it properly.

'GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. Ye Man Hodiye,'

'With the words of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , there is a wisdom.'

Constant it sits with us and fortunately we are members who have ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. Shabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. GuruShabad Guru , Shabd Guru These are sounds spoken by the Gurus; the vibration of the Infinite Being which transforms your consciousness; the sounds and words captured by the Gurus in the writings which comprise the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . It means all that what there is knowledgeably can sit in our heart, we can understand in our mind what GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. says. So, if we start applying what comes in our way, at that moment that is called living under the guidance of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . You will be surprised to see some people. They say, "Well, I understood, this is what I should have done under the guidance of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , but this is what I did for myself." Then you and the guidance of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , they become two separate issues.

It is a human weakness that it separate from itself from consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. and wisdom. When their emotions and feelings attached or there is a fear attached to its lobby and that's what a (?) in a nightmare, then you will find the greatest person at that time acting absolutely insanely by virtue of something which he and she knows is not real. Now, what is not real at that time, you know. Under that moment and time, that will be cost effective. You have to pay for that. That word is called Paap. Paap is not something very curse word. Paap is Pa Aap, you do it, you get it. Paap is you do it. Because you are not doing with consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . Neither you are applying universal consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. nor you are applying any self learning and the words of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , you are only doing it what you are doing. Aap mean by your own will you are doing something and what you are doing something by your own will, then the result of that, you also have to face. That is called Paap. The opposite word of this is Punn, Punn. Where you Paap, na. You negate yourself. Na, negate your ego and you do what is generally in general good it is. That is called Punn. And that is what GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. says.

'Karmee Aapo Aapnee Kay Nayrhai Kay Dhoor.'

'Your actions will decide whether you live in God, near God, in God you dwell or not, or you live outside.'

Now some people feel because, so and so is son of so and so, therefore he has all the right. That is not true. Prithi Chand was son of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Ram Das Fourth Guru of the Sikhs. Ram DasGuru Ram Das Fourth Guru of the Sikhs. . He couldn't be anybody. When you read the history and life and story, all you read is he went berserk, he went wrong. Because wherever he acted he acted with a motivation of grabbing things, controlling things. He never acted with a universal consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . Therefore he failed.

Those who were born in the house of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and were GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's own, couldn't be anybody because they took it for granted that they have a license to do anything they want. This MayaMaya The creative power of the Creator that restricts and limits. It creates the sense of limitation that leads us to identify with experience, the ego, and things. Because of this it is often thought of as the illusion that blocks us from the spirit. But, as Guru Nanak (see Sikh Gurus) reminds us, you need not be attached to the productions of maya. Instead they can be used to serve and express the higher consciousness and spirit. Maya is simply Karta Purkh, the doing of the Great Being. Maya takes the ineffable into the realm of the measurable. , this intoxication, you will find with lot of people. They feel they can do anything they want. Nobody is looking at them, nobody is seeing them, nobody is stopping them, they do not,

'Maane, Aachinth Paap Thay Dar.'

'Oh, my mind, be afraid of those thought which you have not yet thought.'

'Chith Na Nekhi Dee,' 'thought which you have not even imagined.' Even those thoughts you should be afraid of because those thoughts can become feelings and those thoughts can become desire and those thought can put you in the pit. Any, there is nothing in this planet. People do not understand. There are two powers which you don't have. You don't have power to extend your breath. Breath of life is given to you and you cannot stop your intellect from releasing thoughts. Thousand thoughts per wink of the eye. People think 'oh, I am thinking.' Oh, naturally you are thinking.

'Sochiya Sochna Hovey Jeh Sochna.' First line GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. said and every philosopher in Sikhism now today thinking,

Now, it's a 'Sochiya Sochna.' It is a purity, purity cannot be a purity. But look at that, because they cannot understand GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. . Thinking is with you. It is automatic because as the thoughts are being released by you, processing the thought is also with you. You can't separate those two. And GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is very kind. It is a very basic fundamental lesson.

'Sochiya Sochna Hovey Je Soche Lakwar, Chupya Chup Na Hovey Je Laye Raha Livtar.'

You cannot be silent though you may tune in.

'Pokhiya Pukhna Uthri, Jab Banna Puriyam Pahar.'

'If you take everything on the planet on yourself, still your hunger will not go.'

There are lot of hungers. Hunger of position, hunger being admired, hunger of sex, hunger of sensuality, hunger of good things, hunger is many ways. Hunger has no limit.

'Sau Siyanpa Lakhve Toh Ek Na Chale Naal.'

There are millions, GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. personifies it.

'There are millions and millions and million, who are wiser than you, not a one wisdom could help them.'

Why your wisdom cannot help you? Because wisdom may be wisdom, but if it's not applied consciously, it is not a wisdom. Wisdom is wisdom, power is power, you are you. There are three things working all the time. You, your projection and your manipulation. How you apply it is a manipulation. Your projection is how you put it together. But question is, if you are not absolutely conscious, that goodness of the heart is the only beauty there is. People have double principle. When it comes to their children, there is no discipline. When somebody else is there is a discipline. If somebody wife does something, 'Oh, that she is my wife, she has a license to do anything.' People have double standard. Because their life is not locked into consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . When a person is conscious, then everything will just be under that consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. .

'Ayie Sikh Gurmil, Ayie Sikh.'

Then He will say, 'Come on, O Sikh of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , come on,' because his consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. is faced and based and it is standardized with that of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . It doesn't matter how you want to have a lifestyle. Once you have a conscious lifestyle, then all there is will start coming to you. People do not understand the secret of richness. I understand that,

'Nirdhan Ko Aadar Koi Na De.'

'A person who doesn't have wealth, nobody respect that person.'

I know that theory. So therefore basically you have to have respect, you have to have, you, you need respect, you want to be known, effective and live nicely and,

'Kalkaye Kujatho De.'

I mean, you are supposed to earn and share.

Therefore you have to have, 'Vand Chako,' if you have to share something, you have to have something to begin with, then to share. So basically, where you need the spirituality and identity and consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. , there you need also the sources of prosperity and wealth.

People do not understand the secret of wealth. There are two types of wealth. Wealth attracts wealth, wealth is earned. There are some people who are lucky, they can use their personality, their techno know-how life and they can earn wealth. But they will not enjoy wealth. There are some people who enjoy wealth, whatever they have and wealth will come to them. How prosperity come?

'Zaban Sheri Mulak Geri.'

'Be sweet, kind and compassionate to everybody, wealth will come to you. Granted.'

SevaSeva Selfless Service. the heart of the Aashram experience is serving each other. . SevaSeva Selfless Service. the heart of the Aashram experience is serving each other. is the secret of prosperity. Serve everyone and everybody consciously. Living yourself by consciously is for yourself. Serving others consciously, that is what the secret of wealth is. SevaSeva Selfless Service. the heart of the Aashram experience is serving each other. . SimranSimran A deep meditative process in which the naam of the Infinite is remembered and dwelled in without conscious effort. is for self, purify yourself with SimranSimran A deep meditative process in which the naam of the Infinite is remembered and dwelled in without conscious effort. and serve everybody and you will be prosperous. Identify yourself, you will be recognized. BaniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. , speak the language of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , you will never be defeated.

Whenever in life and all the time in your life, there shall be a moment where you as a you will speak and you as a you speak whether that, that time GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and you spoke or you spoke as you. That is the deciding factor. At one time you spoke. At that time with the help of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's ward, because you are a GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ward, did you speak the language of, conscious language of God and Godly human being or you just spoke as a human being or you just spoke as you? That is the deciding factor. Speak you must, answer you must. Life is a challenge.

'Jeh Rehana Iss Jaag Vich Kuch sunni-a Kahiye.'

'If we have to live in this world, we have to hear something and say something.'

That's true. You will hear something and you will say something. What? Is it Godly? It is GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ward or it's your ego? Anything with all the circumstances favorable to you, you speak from your ego, you lose the friend. You will hurt yourself, you hurt another person and the person will never trust you again because you said something at that time which was only beneficial to you and you did not mutually care for the person who trusted you. Betrayal of trust was happened, therefore you lost everything. You lost face, you lost grace. And how can you lose friends as a Sikh when you say Akal Moorat? When you have personify God?

'Ek Baba Akal Roop Ek Babi Mardana.'

Akal Roop, you face and your grace is like infinite God. You look like glowing graceful God as a human. How can you lose face? How can you say something tomorrow, if personal friend of your says, "Wait a minute, last Tuesday you said this, this, this, this. God, how can you do this to me?" Or somebody came, "I trusted you like my brother, I trusted you like my son and look what you have done. Look, look, look." And you have nothing to look. You lost your looks.

You didn't lose your looks before another person, you look, you lost your look in the look of the eyes and spirit and the spirit that of God in those eyes. That's how you lose. It's not a small ordinary loss, it's not a matter of which you can measure in dollar and cents. That's what you do. That is how earthbound you are. You measure everything in dollar and cents, you do not understand once you lose a look. Look, there is nothing to look at.

'Brashtam, Barosa, Charanam, Prasanam.'

'Cursed are those bodies and cursed are those feet which was carrying that body.'

What a loss. That is why the training of a person has to go into the depth of his all time consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . That is what it is in every religion, 'I am, I am.' In Sikh way of life, it is very powerful because it start from surrender. And that's very painful for a person. Surrendered to what? Surrender to Universal Nature. Surrender to universal good, surrender to universal grace, surrender to consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . When a Sikh bows before the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , that he surrenders. He surrenders his head with simple consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. , that his heart will prevail and he and she will say all that what GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. has taught him to say. And what GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. says, what God is.

This planetary Earth today, as we are entering our Age of Aquarius and as Khalsa, we are going to celebrate the purity and piety of our birthday which is going to come soon. We have to understand there are lot of responsibility for us for the future. Because every educated person is going to go insane and every insane person is going to go educated. Computer will give information and do work for them that you cannot even imagine. It is not a matter of location. In nineteen seventy two, I said on a press of a button, man will be in a position to produce anything he wants. That's so coming. That's not right. At that time nobody thought, everybody thought perhaps we are dreaming. How can that be? That will be. So the quantum effect, quantum effect of the sound will affect the grass root and the square root of human effect of his knowledge and her knowledge will be the balance with which person will start living. And that will be what Siri GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. will offer in the coming thousands of years. And that one has to learn.

What is a fashion? Fashion pleases another person. Fashion pleases a fad. That's not a fashion. Fashion is which pleases your commitment, adds grace to you, tell another person you are trustworthy. You are realistic, you are sober, you are mature. What is the collar of a Padre? What it does? What's the collar of a dog does? It tells you who the master is. The collar of a Padre, tell you whose master it is. They can wear a cut sweaters and all that kind of stuff. But they have chosen a dress through which they show the person that that commitment stand for that much. And with a ordinary person if somebody does wrong, everybody, nobody cares but when somebody who is somebody does, then everybody cares.

So as we are entering this world today, it is going to be very fast. It is coming on us very fast. It is for our wisdom that we should create a relationship between us and between our GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . And deal consciously with that help so that each day will become a day of prosperity. And pain may go away.

'Jinni NaamNaam , Nam The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word. Tyaya.' That is how your identity. Those who have meditated on the identity, meditate on your identity everyday when you speak consciously, that is meditationMeditation Dhyan. It is a process of deep concentration or merger into an object or a state of consciousness. Meditation releases reactions and unconscious habits and build the spontaneous and intuitive link to awareness itself. , not identity.

'Those who have done this hardship,' yeh hard work hai, GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. agrees, Musakath. Musakath mean hard work with a sweat. There is no hard work, work prescribed in hardness than a word Musakath.

'Gaya Musakath Kaal, Nanak Teh Mukh Ujale Keiti Chuti Naal.'

'Nanak those will be beautiful and bright and bountiful and they have delivered everything.'

It's a matter of consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . It's a matter of caliber. If GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. has brought you to the path of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. Now if you learn to live consciously with GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. 's word, then all will be taken care of. Then it will not be a personal or collective, then it will be miracle. Otherwise this all the wisdom will go through the rigmaroles which we don't want.

Hopefully through this Baisakhi we'll all learn our depth. We'll commit our depth and we'll walk, so we can be proud and say, 'God, you gave us the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. YB: This time of Baisakhi, there are lot of people coming and...

According to the American tradition we are not very habitual as western Sikhs to accommodate. We need one room and then drawing room and that kind of thing. But Baisakhi forces us into in oneness. So I don't think sofas will do. I think the best thing is just get together, it's called sleeping in elevens. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. That's what we have to do and that's the way it is going to be. And moreover, this summer when we are going to have Summer Solstice and Peace Prayer Day, already there have been a information that we are going to have lot of people. They are coming. So once we go there to India, we become the host and now when we come here, we become the host. So we are very blessed, we are double hosts. So for that I think it is better for everybody to start functioning now to look into this. Specially, there are some people who have been enquiring, "I am coming for Baisakhi, where I stay?" I just said, "If you know this is the house of somebody, just walk in."

(Students laugh)

First step is leave the luggage into the living room and then start squeezing in and that's all can be done. So, that shall be the policy this time and I hope everybody understand it and if it is not according to western bacterial protections, disease control, organizational right under the United Nations, so be it. So, please accommodate everybody and be grateful.
