YB: I was thinking this morning that "do we know?" That was the question in which I was stuck. Do we know? The answer came to my mind, yes we know. Then question came, do we realize? The answer was, we don't. What do we know? Safest answer came, "No, we don't know." When I was struggling with this question, do we know or we don't know? Do we realize or we don't realize? The question was very shocking that we insult God everyday on every step of the way. Question was how? On one hand we believe that God is omnipotent, omniscient. Does everything. Under His command and will everything happens. Not we agree as Sikhs, or as Jews, or as Christians, or as Buddhists or any other religion. Even we are not religious, in a general concept we agree that God does everything. If that fundamental understanding is true that God does everything, which is considered to be true, then every step of the way, every act of the day, everything we think and consider, manipulate, work it out, talk, communicate; don't we insult God? We not only insult Him, we insult Him very badly. God gave us children, we love our children more than God. God gave us marriage, wife-husband relationship, house. We insult God more than that.

God gave us life, time, space. We insult God more than that. It is ridiculous to watch a person sleeping in the morning. It is the most insulting thing you can watch. There is nothing to be angry about it. I think that person is worse than a pig. Because that human who does not get up in the morning and does not take time to go in the morning and praise the Lord, is worst of all worst creatures on the planet. Because he insults the dawn of the God. The morning sun rises, brings the light. This man sleeps and loves the darkness. And then he wants the whole day to be perfect. Impossible. There is no way out. And with his money, with his power, with his personality, with his right of vote, with his tongue, which can insult God, can insult men of God. This man goes out and exercise his and her power saying, "I can't get up in the morning." And then I feel the God is very merciful to this creep, He provides again what He provides.

And therefore I have realized, God is extremely compassionate. God is extremely compassionate. Had God not been a extreme compassion, living compassion, none of you can exist more than a minute. You come to Gurdwaras and you come to meditate and you do yoga, and you do exercises. Not that you are honest, but you are corrupt because you are afraid. The fear of the unknown haunts you. And it has haunted all for all time. You agree or you disagree, that is not the realization. That is not the consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . You are haunted by the story of the fact that if you do not relate to one way or the other way to God, you have no recourse. It is a kind of insurance. It is coming to the GurdwaraGurdwara Literally the door of the Guru; traditional place where Sikh worship services are held. meditating, wear a BanaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. , reading a BaniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. , and going to the church, going to the synagogue, reading the Torah, all that stuff you do. Hindus do it as a routine. I have seen that religion. Wonderful! Every Hindu will get up at a particular hour as a routine, take the bell, Harae Krishna, da da, this MantraMantra Sounds or words that tune or control the mind. Man means mind. And he is totally out of that and into that, just like two switches.

Gear number four, gear number two. One is forward, one is reverse. There is no problem in shifting that. And if that realization is, if you are doing every relationship to God because of the fear of the unknown, you are not doing anything because of love. Those people who create relationship because of security has never found out the truth. It is a known fact. And we cannot deny we all have the fear of the unknown. We all have. And everything we do by the fear of the unknown, is not love, is not truth. Because first thing which GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. taught us is:

"Nirbhao Nirvair"

Be fearless and have no revenge. If you are not fearless, you shall have vengeance. You can't get out of it. A man under fear if claims to be without revenge, it's a lie. They both will go together. That's why GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. has said, "Be not afraid, have no revenge." And then he certifies the fact. Akal Moorath, then you will become the personality. Moorath means the picture of the God. Moorath literally means picture. Somebody once asked me,

"Yogiji you have done a miracle."

I said, "What's the miracle. I am not doing miracle."

He said, "Well to take these Americans and clad them in a BanaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. ."

I said, "What do you mean by cladding them in a BanaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. ?"

He said, "Well, it is a self-restriction. They cannot do a lot of things. It is very restricting."

I said, "Oh you mean it is guiding."

He said, "Well, call it anyway you like."

I said, "I call it guiding, I don't call it restricting because every man of God has borne a habit, as a matter of habit, from day one. Because we presume that we are walking towards God, therefore we wear a habit."

There is a lot of people among you who cannot wear a BanaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. . I don't blame you. I have never blamed anybody who cannot wear banaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. . BanaBana , Baana One's outward projection, often refers to a specified clothing that projects a consciousness. cannot be worn without guts. But I believe, it is my belief.

I also have heard that, that prostitute also has a certain personality, certain clothing, and certain thing to wear. In spite of the fact she sins among the deepest sin, her personality as a prostitute is identical. So my belief is true. Sinner in a sin has a identity of sinfulness. Then why in the path of God we don't have a personality of Godliness? There is a fight. Fight is not because God wants the fight, fight is because our personality has been damaged when we were innocent. It is the lack and loss of innocence when you were children, there was a tremendous amount of damage happened to your personality. May be you lost faith, may be you were betrayed, may be your expectation never came true. May be you were raped, may be you were butchered, may be you were spanked. May be, may be, may be. There are one million may be's. Is there a answer to those may be's? No! What has happened to you has happened to you. What is the solution, simple. Drop that and pick this. There is no other way out.

Anybody who is trying to find another way out is just in a state of mind, which is not a state of mind clear enough, it is a mess. Because while coming in the car I was saying, it is true, and true, and true. Those who do not control their own mind, their mind shall control them and God! How painful that will be. Simply try to understand the life that those of us who think we love God, do we love God because it is Almighty? Because it can provide us comforts? Because it can take us to the movies? Take us to the dinners. Provide us big homes, beautiful cars, good sex, husband, children. Is that love of God is only for that earth? And earthly things? Or is that love of God is for heavens, and for heavenly things? And is that love of God for both? Here the Sikh Sikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. DharmaSikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Dharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. departs from other religions. Every religion has a specification. Have this and have that, you are a sinner, you have to redeem yourself. You are a God man, then leave everything and leave it to everything and if you are man of this and you do this, there are certain specifications.

In Sikh Sikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. DharmaSikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Dharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. there is a one specification that we do it for earth and heavens, both at the same time. Because there is a commandment in Sikh Sikh Dharma A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. :

"Dharam Di Kirt Kar"

Kirt kar par Dharam di kar. Dharam is compassionate, kindly and righteous. Compassion, kindness and righteousness, when three meets together, then it becomes DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. . When I want to answer anything, I put the question before me. And I put the answer before it. If answer does not satisfy righteousness, compassion, and kindness, I will prefer to say "I don't know" than to reply. Because these three things are most important in everybody's life. Compassion, kindness,

The kindness is the son of DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. . So if there is no DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. , you do not know God. And if there is no compassion, kindness, and righteousness, you do not know DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. . It is as simple as that. There some people who are asking question, oh we want to find God. I always tell them, God is everywhere, why you are insulting Him to find? They are not found by the God and they will never be found by the God, because to be found out by the God which is everywhere, they have to reach the stage of compassion, kindness, and righteousness. Which only comes to the mind, which only? Comes to the mind if the mind is held by the word of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. .

The question arises here, why the word of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. ? That is the one question, which you have to answer. And that is word of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is true, was true, and shall be true. We can go by that truth, which was, is, and shall be.

"Aad Sach, Jugad Sach, Hai Bhee Sach,

Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach."

If a truth qualifies these spaces, then that truth is a truth. It was true that you loved me. Is it true that you love me? Will it be true that you will love me? I think all you sexual crazy Americans who exploit the word love and brought it to the point of dirtiness cannot answer that you will love me. In this country, the word "Love" has been exploited to the point of its utmost insanity. Everything is love, love, love. Even you do not mean it. And if you don't have a dialogue to start, you say do you love me? Just the fun of it. You have lost the sacredness of this word. Therefore you have lost the respect of this word. Things, which are not sacred to you have no respect. Then things, which have no respect for you, you cannot stand and work for them.

There are certain human things, which we must know. When you have no sacredness in marriage, it will fall apart. When you have no sacredness for your DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. , it will fall apart. When you have no sacredness for your teacher, it will fall apart. I have seen some people who work right under my shadow are very contemptuous. Insultingly contemptuous. Because it is a known fact that when you know somebody, you become contemptuous. And that same thing happens in marriage, husband and wife who were tied down together in the name of God, became intimate and intimacy brings contempt if there is no sacredness. The purpose of life is not to live. Purpose of life is not to be rich. Purpose of life is not be great. Purpose of life is to have in life, righteousness, compassion, and kindness for what. So that we may maintain a standard of ... standard of?

Students: (?)

YB: Standard of... Respect.

When you worship things, you have different auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. about things. When there is no respect, no love, no Divinity, no dignity about things, you have different attitude. It is the lack of that respectability. It is the lack of that vow which brings you at par with things. And when you become par at things, days are limited that you will fall also.

In our life, children bring us lot of love. We love them because they are innocent. We don't love children? Do you know that? None of you love children. Because when they grow up to be men or women, you are only one who hate them. So where is the love? You don't love children. You love the innocence of the child. Child give you innocence, you should have given the child righteousness. You don't give the child righteousness. You give the child the lust. Get rich. Go and grab richness. That is the cry of every parent. You are the sickest parent sometime I understand. You teach innocent children territories. You confine them in the jail of personality conflicts. You put them into the pit of the snake and hell forever. Because you are sick. You tell these innocent children, this is right, this is wrong. Don't do this, don't do that. Do this. Don't do this. This is not good. That is bad. This is my home, this is my plate, this is my kitchen, this is my room. This is your room, this your thing, that is not that thing. That is his daughter, that is your sister. You teach these sick things to your children. You don't teach them, all is God. You are from God. All belongs to you. You belong to all. And you are my son, rise to this occasion. You have never said that. I have not seen one mother saying that.

My ears have gone dry, my wax in the ears have gone absolutely dry. We didn't hear that. I am just praying these days when I will hear that. That somebody tells the child, rise my son. You have come from God. This earth planet is temporary, you belong to all. All belong to you. Fear none. Live in the image of God. There is a soul in you. These are ordinary things to say. There is nothing special about it. And the way you insult God, you super insult love. You know you are so sick you are sometime. Just imagine, look at from point of view, seldom I speak, but when I speak in the Siri GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. , in the presence of Siri GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. and I have to tell you certain things.

SIDE B

See how I look at you. You are so sick that just for a dinner, you used the word love. Fifteen dollars, a best dinner I have seen cost us once eighty dollars in Japan. Because the food was brought from California. We were vegetarians and we said we want to eat vegetables. And they said we cannot supply you till night. I said, "Well alright, night." So at night when we ate those vegetables, which were nothing, I mean to say it could have cost us about two dollars. Then the guy gave us a bill of 80 dollars I said, "What?"

He said, "What you mean by what? You wanted it or not?"

I said, "Yeah, I wanted it. But 80 dollars, American dollars, not yens."

He said, "They came all the way from were you came. This vegetables are not from Japan, they are from California. You pay for it."

I said, "I learnt it." And that is what I say to you, you will pay for it if you not stop insulting God. You will pay for it if you not stop insulting love. You will pay for it if you not understand what compassion is. You will dearly pay for it and definitely pay for it if you do not understand what kindness is. And even if God Almighty come down and take care of you, still you will pay for it if you do not know what righteousness is. Your ego has totally blinded you. God gave you this life, God gave you this chance, God gave you everything. And you have lost respectability for those things and when you have lost respectability for essential values, how on the earth you think you will be respected? Who is going to respect you? Who? Somebody can respect you.

I was reading that line, "Jay Koi Ninda Kare Har Jan Ki Apna Gunn Na Gavaye"

If somebody insults a man of God, man of God should not lose his nature. When people tell me that you have to be in America, you have to be successful. You have to believe in hire and fire. You have to believe in counteract, you have to believe... How can I tell you that forty years I have trained myself to believe not to react. Are you that foolish that you cannot understand English? And how can you believe that I will blow away my forty years mental training because I love you, which is a pure compassion. You may love me for sex, or for other sensual reasons. When I say I love you, l don't love you for sex. You stink. You are not that great.

And if you think I do not know who am I, then I also have to admit I do not know who you are. Because I claim I know who you are, therefore I have to claim within my consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. truthfully to know who am I. Therefore you have to once for all know when I say I love you, what do I mean? Do you know it now? That is the statement of fact, which I write in my letters humbly yours, that means compassionately I will stand with you to the last day. And afterwards on the other side of the tunnel I will greet you.

You have misunderstandings about me. I don't have any misunderstanding about you. My only prayer is one day you will be better off ten times than me in understanding what I am saying today. I am trying to reach your heart. I am trying to explain to you that we have not missed the boat yet. I am trying to reason with you. I am trying to logically argue with you. It is very funny in Espanola, I told somebody I said, "Two years ago if I said something you will say yes sir and today you say I cannot say anything."

He said, "That is true."

I said, "You have progressed."

He said, "I don't understand."

I said, "It is a very simple thing."

I give you an example. You put a computer and say you have this much amount gained from these sources. Put the item from which the wealth came to you. Put the item where you spent the wealth and ask the computer to give the balance. Computer will be giving balance that you have fifty dollars short, minus fifty. And you are telling yourself, I don't believe it. Computer has nothing to say. I said, "I have reached a point, I won't say anything. You did this before exactly, on my remembrance that behavior of yours is recorded as a teacher. I am explaining to you, you are doing the same thing. I am asking you to stop it. You say I can't say. It is a simple question. Sir I don't want to tell you I don't want to stop it, but I am not going to stop it. I accept the answer, goodbye. I am leaving." Because your mind is not under your control.

And how dependable that person is. And what relationship you can have with that person, whose mind is not under his and her control. After all you don't have relationship with body only. That is not true. There is a mind behind the body. And if that mind is not dependable, this body is not dependable at all. It is a hard fact to swallow, but that is the truth to learn. When somebody tells me I love you, and I know the person has a habit of self-destruction, I say, yeah, yeah, yeah, you love me. Thank you for this moment. They think that I have just thanked them for that moment. I thank for that moment, atleast that person will utter a lie, which is not a truth, I love you does not mean truth. It is a moment, momentary truth of that moment. Because it is a good preface to start conversation. It is a exploitation of the sacredness of the word love. And to my consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. it will reach faster than any other gimmick. So it is good to tell me I love you, though you are a piece of piece.

You understand what I am saying? It is not to be said in the presence of the Holy GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. . But GranthGranth Literally: knot: book. knows it.

(Students' laughter)

YB: When you say, I love you, and I say, I love you compassionately forever. And understand what you are saying what that is. And I love you with that understanding. I love you who you are, because who you are is fine with me because there my work starts. I know the depth of the pit, and I know the height. And I know my job and I am not worried, I want you not to be worried. Don't have vengeance against me, because I compassionately love you. Lot of you when you leave 3HO, you become angry, bitter, insulting, slanderous, and that's the way you express your pain. Because you do not have respect for the innocence. That's where anger comes. When you don't feel the other person is innocent, you get angry. When you feel your own child is not innocent, you become angry. And when you become angry, you lose the touch with reality.

There are two things, which takes you away from reality right away–anger and passion.

Therefore I don't believe you have anything to say to me. I think you have a lot to say to yourself. Ask yourself, are you innocent? Ask yourself, do you want to be innocent. Ask yourself, do you believe to be innocent? Ask yourself are you trying to be innocent? Ask yourself is innocence is your way of life? Answer it. Wake up you sleepy dogs. You all have to die one day. And without that answer there is no way to God. And there is no way to hell. This answer must come from you within the lifetime. Rest all is ritual. Meaningless ritual. The wealth, the cars, the wall to wall carpets, the children, the husband, the sex, the drinks, the food, is going to be here. It is not going to go with you there. You are here and there, because you have come from somewhere. Because you have forgotten that you have come from somewhere, therefore you have forgotten that you have to go somewhere. And that is your blindness.

You sing very well, "all things comes from God, and all things go to God." You sing it. But you don't believe them. You don't accept them either. I am trying to reach to you, so that you once for all understand that if you cannot worship God, if you have lost respectability of God. There was a one girl she told me:

She said, "I love you, but you know I am atheist. I cannot love God."

I said, "My God, all ever the God is if you can be atheist and you can forget about God. I am a little fellow, how can you remember me. Forget about the comparison." Time has come. This is the 84th year of the twentieth century. Life has a cycle of churasi lakkh. The easiest thing is to dedicate this year to the word of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . Learn it. Soak yourself in it. Realize it. And what that will do. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. can widen your concept. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is the way from kindness to compassion, and from compassion to righteousness. Gradually and slowly, I am walking away from you, leaving you in the truthful, everlasting, beautiful hands of the GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. . I hope you will honor it, understand it, and live with it. I have understood it, given myself to it. And I have lived it. Today I enjoy it. It is a very beautiful state of mind. It is a state of mind, which can give you the experience of bliss and compassion. When you know somebody is lying to you, somebody is betraying you, somebody wants your money, somebody also wants sex with you, somebody just want to make fool of you, somebody is wanting you to take you through the grill. Somebody is insulting you through the bare teeth, lying best of it, and after that all you say is "Oh, leave it. God will take care of it." Do you understand what a nearness to God you have at that time? And how far away from that lies you are?

Spirituality is a state of mind. And it is a directive to activity of all human beings. I think the 84th year came to our family, a twister, a twister went through this family. Took away with it the unwanted element. But some are injured, some are bleeding. Some only needed the first aid and some are gone. Those who are gone shall never return. They shall go through the cycle as promised. But those who are around, they better shape up. Get healthy. Recuperate. Because journey is long and it has to be finished.
