... That area. One is the cobra pose and the other is arch pose and third is to make the balance of the two, stretch pose. If you can bring him or make him do that, I think God will help him.

YB: Oregon? KundaliniKundalini Comes from the word "kundal"; coiled energy; the creative potential of an individual. Kundalini Yoga It is a Raaj Yoga that creates vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and openness to the spirit. It is used by the householder, busy in the world, to create immediate clarity. The fourth Guru in the Sikh tradition, Guru Ram Das, was acknowledged as the greatest Raaj Yogi. (See Raaj Yogi.) He opened this long secret tradition to all. YogaKundalini Yoga It is a Raaj Yoga that creates vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and openness to the spirit. It is used by the householder, busy in the world, to create immediate clarity. The fourth Guru in the Sikh tradition, Guru Ram Das, was acknowledged as the greatest Raaj Yogi. (See Raaj Yogi.) He opened this long secret tradition to all. 3HO foundation is everywhere. So get him there.

Student: (------)

YB: Oh get him in. It is called slip him in.

(Students' laughter)

YB: Nobody wants anything from anybody, if you are a friend you feel it, you can tell him I have told you, you can tell him make him do it, if he does it affectionately tell him, compete with him. Tell him I am going to do this posture if you do that I'll give you a chocolate. Whatever.

(Students' laughter)

YB: You know what I mean? That's the way to go. Slowly and gradually with your kindness you can win everybody. And if you feel for your friend, do it.

I had a friend of mine, he came and he told certain things which were not worthy to listen. And I told him, "My friend, I'll take you to somebody else, where you can evolve yourself out of it and when you are through then I'll talk to you again."

Friendship is when you do for somebody, saying you are his friend doesn't solve the problem. Nothing solves the problem, if you put Bible on a donkey it doesn't make him a priest. Do, do, do. Do and so be done. That's the way to go. When I say there is no liberty without labor and there is no freedom which is free I mean it. And that is what it is. I have helped thousands of people. In return they all have helped me. But I don't expect somebody to become my student, I don't even initiate. I have made so many people angry just by denying one request. Please initiate me. I said please initiate yourself. Why I have to initiate you? Because I believe everybody is a creature created by the Creator and the creation is a part of all the scheme then everybody has to initiate himself and herself. I am not to initiate anybody. And they don't like it, because they want to be puppets. Little pinkie they want to catch. I am not ready for it. Neither this, so we break it's God's will. But those who wanted to start they started and they are keeping up, they are keeping up because they want to keep up. I have to follow a system. Our policy is open door policy. Come and be served. Don't come. Our lungarLangar , Lungar Free kitchen associated with Sikh worship service. system, our free kitchen system is when we prepare the meal we create the sound. Come. And then everybody comes, served, they eat, they go, God's will. We don't take a register and write their names. That's why in our congregation a congregation is not completed, prayer is not complete if free kitchen is not served. Period.

So systems have to be honestly followed, a highway you choose, a path you choose, you walk and you keep the direction and you will reach the city. You can't love anybody if you are not willing to sacrifice for that body. Love is a direct command of sacrifice and it's a one-way traffic. For love when you get anything in return it is called business. Because they bargain. I brought you flower, you gave me a kiss, forget it. It's good, but it is not what it is. Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: Oh yeah phobia.

Student: (------)

YB: I'll explain to you that, that is a scientific truth which I am explaining to you but west will not understand it. When I told in the west there are twelve glands in the human body, doctors started challenging me. When I said the thymus acts more powerful than any other gland they said it's a dead tissue. You understand what I mean? Now what I am saying to them is the problem is this. Child is born, in the birth of the child to eleven years there are two people to play role to nurse that child, not with milk and food and with cookies and with toys, that is the personality of father and mother. When this personality play of the father and mother is not injected into the personality of the child imbalance child is born as an adult. And that is called imbalance phobia.

Now everybody is sick with that phobia. So nothing can happen and why we want one woman and one man and one child is because that is more than enough, we can handle as one, one at least we can do that. To that one child to bring it complete. Part of marriage is to produce another seed of you, that is the basic urge. Sexually forget it, sexually, who does, everybody does many things many ways. But basic, the institution of marriage is to reproduce yourself, that is why it has been given lot of love and lot of rituals and it has become divine. I mean, you will sleep with a girl, nobody cares, but when you want to marry her then you bring a priest in-between. Because you want to give her a security unto Infinity of unknown of God and she wants that security so that they both can work together on a project. But you know second-class effort is a first class mistake. And we are part of that first class mistake. In marriage nobody does first class effort.

Student: (------)

YB: I think we should... No, we should start a university where there should be a man and a woman graduation, marriage graduation, they should go through that and if there is a certificate and everybody gets sixty percent they should be given license to marry, otherwise it's a useless trip.

I tell you one thing, there is a doctor, this woman carried in through the medical college by paying his fees and everything and now this doctor, this bum after becoming a successful doctor tells her, your hair don't smell right. She says God, you never gave me all these years time to even comb them. She was working two times to keep him going. And now this guy is making nose. You know what I mean?

So values change, with that people change. But marriage is a carriage of happiness which cannot change. It's a contract between two people before God.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, no it is misery, I am telling you misery is because the values change.

Student: (------)

YB: Yeah. No, no, they don't, I tell you if I eat good food at my house and I want to go out, I'll take my wife with me. Normally. But abnormally if I do it she won't mind either. Question is not in this world who you are, question is how much trust you have. You have that much trust, that much extension of you as you have that much character, you have that much character as much value you know, you have as much value, as much discipline you know, as much discipline you know as much self you know, as much self you know everybody you know, when everybody you know you have no worry about anything. It's a process, process. And it is all correlated. And in that correlation there is always a confronting problem. I am a married man, I have three children, they went through culture shock, my wife went through culture shock, the whole thing; she still tells me I am no happy to be a wife of a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. .

(Students' laughter)

God, nobody here listens to anybody. Well, I tell her, my dear as an officer I had lot of orderlies and servants, and everything was great. Now we have adapted ourselves the period of service and now we have to serve, rather people serve us. We are getting out of the karmaKarma The law of cause and effect applied to mental, moral, and physical actions. Ego attaches us to and identifies us with objects, feelings, and thoughts. These attachments create a bias toward certain lines of action. Instead of acting you begin reacting. Karmas are the conditions required in order to balance or complete these tendencies. Though necessary, karma is not dictatorial or fatalistic. It is the mechanism that allows the finite experience of existence to maintain and stabilize itself. We all have free will and can take actions to re-direct the momentum of a karma. We can transform it or neutralize it using meditation, jappa, good deeds, or intuition that remove your sense of ego and the identification with that past line of action. . She likes it but she doesn't like to do it. So she protests once a while. So I say what is the problem with you? She says but this never got done, I don't know how you do it. I say oh I'll do it. And so twenty-five years somehow through hook and crook we are married, period.

(Students' laughter)

I always tell her don't worry, half of the whole wealth of mine is yours. Really you gave it, everybody anyway what is going to be left for me? I said me, the man who gave away everything, that's enough.

(Students' laughter)

So we joke it out. And last year all the property which was all clear in my name we both satSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. down, made the paper, signed it, and gave it to the DharmaDharma A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma. , gave it away. That's the way it was. That is the (?) she came along very fine, perfect, very divine, very beautiful, I love her, like her for that. For a woman thinking from this minute onward moment I sign here, I don't owe a penny this world, it's most difficult. I wanted to see how she goes through that drama. She went so gracefully, I wanted to give her the Oscar this year. You know what I mean?

(Students' laughter)

And I asked her, I said, "Do you believe me?"

She said, "No, I trust you."

(Students' laughter)

She didn't believe me.

Student: (------)

YB: No, she doesn't believe me, she trusts me.

Student: (------)

YB: Otherwise there will be everyday fight. Only which keeps you away from fight and quarrel is the trust. Otherwise we are willing to fight with God. Okay, are you satisfied, any question? Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: I am here. What I can feel about it? I have nothing to feel. The very first day I said go ahead, and I'll get along. This is the first time I have been to London, I am here, I am going to speak in Los Angeles, I won't do it for Almighty God. I did it for the symposium. I believed it has to be done. I don't know it maybe a success or a failure. People may like it in a different way. But I like it totally different way. I like it a way that impossible has happened. I don't think this was a possible project. It has a lot of possibilities to misunderstand and to be misunderstood and all that. I think all the people who did act and worked on it, did have some message to share. And I am included in them. It could have done many, many times better. But thank God it didn't happen that way. Then we have to try again, right? God is only perfect remember.

Student: (------)

YB: I understand it's a very simple answer, breath of fireBreath of Fire Also called agni praan. It is a rapid, rhythmical breath pattern, generated from the navel point and diaphragm with an equal inhale and exhale and usually done through the nose. It is both stimulating and relaxing. It heals, strengthens the nerves, and clears out old patterns and toxins. . Anybody who does breath of fireBreath of Fire Also called agni praan. I have taught it for ten years, it is free, nobody listens to it or remembers it. If I would have charged two hundred and fifty dollars and told everybody in an year I would have been rich and people would have been less angry.

(Students' laughter)

Praana regulates the modes and moods of the mind. will regulate, the whole day you try to be angry, find it out, call me, collect.

(Students' laughter)

I won't accept the charges.

(Students' laughter)

Student: (------)

YB: My God, I have changed these western people like a hell, can you believe it? They were living hell, I have gone with them through every pain and pleasure. I have seen what they were at and now God, they tell me how to do right things. Sometime I just joke with them and I do certain weird things, they say wait a minute, wait a minute, this is not right, I love it. They are great. Oh yeah, I have nothing to fulfill. I was to start something.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, basically I wanted to teach people one thing very unique and very unusual. And my statement is it is my birthright to be healthy, happy and holy and this statement to a normal theologian is a very sinful devil's statement because happiness, health and all that must be granted by God. And I am saying it is my birthright. It's my basic privilege. And that is a very contradictory religion in itself. And it's a challenge to every normal tribal religion so far being practiced. Because when I say first you believe, and then you will experience. Now our time is, we will experience first and then we believe. So we are getting hundred eighty degree off the record. And still I am alive in ten years, they have not shot me, don't you think it's a miracle?

Student: (------)

YB: I started it.

(Students' laughter)

YB: You must understand my role. When I came I saw twenty million young people suffering. I could have joined the universities, I could have done this and that, bah-bah-bah. I could have asked few rich ladies to donate all the money to me, and I could have been comfortable. I started living in teepees and running in cold water and doing all those things because I knew that somebody has to continue this. There were lot of at that time leaders. Somebody selling insurance now, others is in real estate, and third person is doing, managing the apartments and all that. But I still continued to be what I was. And I think we are the new age and you know twenty million young people gave away their life and sacrificed themselves by OD and by this and that and quarter million of them are alive today. It's the greatest sacrifice which ever mankind did in silence to bring peace to the earth. That's why America never started a war in Angola, not because it never wanted it, they needed that petroleum and copper more than anybody else. Because they knew we will walk on Washington again. It doesn't matter through the environments and circumstances we have cut our hair but they are grown inside.

No, no way, time cannot change. Time will keep going, not possible. It will take one shape or the other, we will make it. We are growing, our children are growing and they are dying. There is no stop to it, whether they like it or not. Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: I will repeat it, she is...

Student: (------)

YB: Don't, don't, I have got the answer. I tell you. One thing is...

Student: (------)

YB: Yeah, there is not only an attachment between the religious parents and their strives. It is the exploitation of authority over the child because normally parents feel child never grows. Child remains child, he is a eighty-two year old.

(Students' laughter)

My father tells me right now, "Bhajan, I don't think you are right."

(Students' laughter)

I say, "What did you say?"

He says, "Oh no, I am sorry, I forgot, I know you are a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. , you are okay now."

(Students' laughter)

When he was eating wrong he told me you should eat right. I say yes dad, then I say okay I will. By the way you can't take honey, I took away the plate in front of him.

(Students' laughter)

Parents are parents, parents are supposed to be pay-rent. Instead of paying rent they collect the rent. You follow? So if you love each other, be determined and be open and be honest, anything which constitute itself on dishonesty shall fall. So confront them; we'll help you.

Student: (------)

YB: Power of the person is the prayer, pray for him. That's all you can do.

Student: (------)

YB: I am teaching a class tonight, what time hey, 6 o'clock I'll discuss that whole subject if you want.

Student: (------)

YB: Yeah, yes.

Student: (------)

YB: I was to teach a class then I was told to join in a panel here, then I was told no you have to discuss things, I said okay. But in evening I will teach a class in the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das , The Ashram The grounds of Yogi Bhajan's traditional home and ranch in Espanola, NM, as well the surrounding businesses, gurdwara and langar hall. ashramHacienda de Guru Ram Das , The Ashram The grounds of Yogi Bhajan's traditional home and ranch in Espanola, NM, as well the surrounding businesses, gurdwara and langar hall. Ashram , Aashram A community of practitioners who come together to live conscious, mindful lives. anyway for special subjects to help people. Then these things can be discussed there, which is all medical. Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: It's okay.

Student: (------)

YB: When my wife came, she became so culture shock, she totally lean on woman like another child. So I have three children plus a wife as a child. I raised all the four very beautifully.

(Students' laughter)

YB: And they all witnessed that. When my wife came here in this country she totally became a more younger child than my daughter even. She started doing trouble on anything, she wanted to demand everything, she wanted to know she is secure. And she asked me impossible things. And because I know in every word impossible possible is contained so I came through.

Single parents must not feel they are single. Nobody is single. God, GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. , and self. They are three against one. GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. is the experience of God. God is the ultimate reality of the unknown. And personality is the known. All three can make everything harmonious. That is what we created at 3HO a family in which we don't ask anybody what wrong you have done. All we tell is how right we can do it. The secret in success that we are maintaining this as a 3HO family is there are three ways to live. Live at each other, that's the animal kingdom. Live with each other, that's the vegetable kingdom. You see the tree they toss their head, they don't bother each other, they have their own roots. And human is live for each other. And when you live for each other you have to sacrifice for each other. And that's the way it goes. And we have experimented it, we have proved it, and we are going to continue that. Single parent is not a disease. It's an opportunity. And every woman has a very confident part of the male in her. And she has to understand things didn't work out right and now she has to see that they work all right.

Okay folks, can we do one KriyaKriya Literal meaning is "completed action." A Kundalini Yoga Kriya is a sequence of postures and yoga techniques used to produce a particular impact on the psyche, body, or self. The structure of each kriya has been designed to generate, organize, and deliver a particular state or change of state, thereby completing a cycle of effect. These effects have been codified and elaborated by Yogi Bhajan and form the basic tools used in yoga and its therapeutic applications. and then quit? How much time we have?

Students: (------)

YB: Is it? See computer works right. Now this KriyaKriya Literal meaning is "completed action." A Kundalini Yoga Kriya is a sequence of postures and yoga techniques used to produce a particular impact on the psyche, body, or self. The structure of each kriya has been designed to generate, organize, and deliver a particular state or change of state, thereby completing a cycle of effect. These effects have been codified and elaborated by Yogi Bhajan and form the basic tools used in yoga and its therapeutic applications. which I am giving to you is meant to inflow the lack of communication for which there are all troubles. You understand? There cannot be trouble at all if we do not fail in communication. First trouble happens when we cannot communicate. Remember that? When you cannot communicate with somebody, then you are blocked from that body. And then there is a trouble. So we are going to do a KriyaKriya Literal meaning is "completed action." A Kundalini Yoga Kriya is a sequence of postures and yoga techniques used to produce a particular impact on the psyche, body, or self. The structure of each kriya has been designed to generate, organize, and deliver a particular state or change of state, thereby completing a cycle of effect. These effects have been codified and elaborated by Yogi Bhajan and form the basic tools used in yoga and its therapeutic applications. in which we are going to solve that magnetic problem of the body, in other words, we are elating to throat center. Power of communication and the heart center, power of compassion to communicate. Okay. Sit straight.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, if they don't come in, they don't. If they come in they have (?). It's okay. I was told symposium is free. Anybody can do anything. I was told, I didn't say it is true.

(Students' laughter)

I was told. Truth is only that what truth is. Nobody can say it, nobody can know it, nobody can feel it, but everybody can experience it.

Okay folks. Now bear with me, these are the four antennas, one is Mercury, this is Sun, this is Saturn and this is Jupiter and this is Id. Ego. Okay. Sit straight and touch your pinkies. Rest of the hand should be as open as naturally it can be. Angle from the diaphragm. That is between the navel pointNavel Point The sensitive area of the body near the umbilicus that accumulates and stores life force. It is the reserve energy from this area that initiates the flow of the Kundalini energy from the base of the spine. If the navel area is strong, your vital force and health are also strong. and the heart center the elbows touch the body, they touch there, hold it. And touch it like this and leave it open. Look through the eyes as perpendicularly parallel to the nose and look down. Nine parts of the eyes closed, one part open. Got it? So simple. Yeah. Down all the way. Don't cross your eyes at the tip of the nose, just look that way down. Perfect? Okay don't whistle, but inhale through the lips inwards. Hold it, and create mentally the sound, Sa Ta Na Ma, and with a stroke of breath take all the air out. Sa Ta Na Ma. Don't create verbal sound, breath sound. Like that. With the force of the nose. Because you have to change the impulsation of the pituitary. And that will open up if you stroke breath out in four parts and create this mental sound with it. Inhale again, hold, and now come, one, two, three, four, inhale again, but within those four strokes you should totally exhale. Sa Ta Na Ma. Inhale again, Sa Ta Na Ma, relax.

This exercise if it is done up to half an hour is equivalent to five hundred milligram of LSD. Therefore you are advised to do it for only eleven minutes. No I am not kidding, it will be tape recorded, it shall not be my responsibility. Legal, moral and spiritual. And that's why I told you to do it two-three times and I'll just close my self because you must have later on a time to rest. It is a requirement. So do it before going to bed, do it for eleven minutes only. Sound is Sa Ta Na Ma. These are the five sounds, it's called Panch ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. . They relate to five tattvasTattvas A category of cosmic existence; a stage of reality or being; a "thatness" of differentiated qualities. In total there are 36 tattvas. Each wave of differentiation has its own rules and structure. The final five tattvas are called the gross elements and have the phasic qualities and relationships of ether, air, fire, water, and earth. . That word "In the beginning there was a word, word was with God and word was God." That is the word. If John could have written it, it could have saved my trouble. But they kept it secret. But anyway that is a Panch ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. they call it.

Each ShabadShabad , Shabd Sound, especially subtle sound or sound imbued with consciousness. It is a property or emanation of consciousness itself. If you meditate on shabad it awakens your awareness. relates to tattva. So just do create that sound with the force of the nose. And some day you will practice it so much you can create and hear the sound coming through your nose rather than mentally doing it. Maximum time for this exercise is eleven minutes and then you can practice it up to thirty-one minutes. For God's sake don't proceed beyond that. If you do not want to stop and you insist, please call me and discuss with me, I'll just see what you want to do and discuss it further. But eleven minutes is the most safest thing to do. It will change and bring the balance in your metabolism, keep you away from all kind of diseases, it will give you a projective elevated consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. , it will open up your fourth compassionate center of compassion and throat center of communication, it will give you power to communicate at higher level than what you are at and it will make you healthy, happy and holy and you will be a part of good humanity and humanity will be blessed by your personality.

The class sings: "May the long time sun shine upon you..."

YB: And now sing that song, we are the people, people of love, let us people love today. Does anybody know? It's an old, old YogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. Bhajan song, remember? Okay sing it.

(Students sing...)

(Song stops.)

YB: Thank you, I thought you might have forgotten, but you remember it, that's nice. And this we never conclude our class without singing the most powerful hippie song. May the long time sun shine... it was a record. It was a record and that group sang, and it was the first song which started this movement. And 3HO foundation has up kept the tradition. When we conclude the class in honor to remember the memories of those who laid their lives silently for peace without direction of any government organization but only under the inward direction of God, we in their honor sing that song when we close every class. Because we guide our way on within the light of purity and love. Thank you very much for sharing with me all this time and now if you want to hear me further, come to Los Angeles.

(Students' laughter)

(Applause...)

Side B

Nobody wants to do it. There are two laws to do it. One is to just live very relaxed and accept yourself as a part of the cosmos and cosmos as a part of you. It means out of your eight bodies you have to live in your pranic body. And don't use your mind for too much thinking and speculation. Stop speculating. And then everybody if starts doing it, it will become a total cosmic order and everybody will be at peace. Otherwise build the atom bombs and threat each other.

And the second part is if this is not possible which is called divine law of Divinity, this is the one law in the scripture is called divine law of Divinity. The second part is develop your mind to the meditative extent to the effect that you can control your meditative mind and if you can control your meditative mind you can bring peace to yourself and to all around you. Third law I don't know.

(Students' laughter)

It doesn't work that way. What should we do? Come on families, come on with questions and answers, I'll talk to you for few minutes, give you little goodies and then I'll go. Yes, yes.

Student: (------)

YB: Louder, louder, you are a young man, it doesn't suit speaking low. Go ahead.

Student: (------)

YB: That is my perfect subject. The problem which I have seen in the western world is woman is not a woman and man is not a man. Both are zucchinis.

(Students' laughter)

And nobody knows how to steam them. That is the problem. Problem is, this problem I recognized. When I recognized this problem there is a problem between a man and woman in this country and I said forget it. Because western world and eastern world are two different worlds. Eastern world you have totally one thing and that is ultimate spirit flow, ultimate. All decisions, all negotiations, all dealing-wheeling, how crooked they maybe, they will do in the name of God. That's is the eastern way. I have lived thirty-nine years in the eastern world, I know it. If they have to kill you they will say I am doing it in the name of God. So sick they are. Here there is a very terrible problem. It's much terrible than there. Here we have a beautiful body, and we have a beautiful spirit. But we have most hanky-panky mind. Most hanky-panky. Very untogether mind, I have never seen anywhere such an untogether mind, mental body is very untogether. And that's why neither we can enjoy the fruit of our spirit, nor we will enjoy the lustful flow of our body. And that is where lies the problem. But when I realized that what to do I realized there is a definite...

Somewhere in the world men and women can work together somewhere. I know how they can work together, but I just wanted to know somewhere. Then I found a region. This region is east of Punjab, and north of Uttar Pradesh. There is a certain area where nobody divorces anybody. And it has a history and a legend of thousands of years. Then I studied that. Why? Why in one particular area on this earth every problem is there and no problem is there, but one problem is not there, divorce though people can divorce. So we found it out that on rainy season every woman goes back to parent's house for two months.

(Students' laughter)

It's a law. And if the parental father is dead, then the elder brother takes the responsibility and she brings the children back and children go to maternal uncle, woman lives with all her old friends and she recuperates to become a woman. Once she recuperates in two months to become a woman then she can become a wife, she can become a mother, blah-blah-blah. And then what I did is I started ladies camp. Two months ladies camp, June and July. July and August and I think it's the third year we have found very beautiful results. A woman comes, teaches her all women, it is a ladies camp and they do everything on this planet which a woman can possibly learn. Not our own discipline. Everything. From horse riding to rifling, how to face a mocking man on the road to anything and we get all the possible experts and we found it out it has saved and our men have become beautiful because two months raising the children have told them what a wonderful woman is.

(Students' laughter)

Papa, I want to go to party, sit down, now he is not going to sit down, then he realizes what is to be a woman. So in two months they learn a lot, she learns a lot and it takes them ten months to fight again and then they are again there. It works out. But basically what I am trying to tell, there are two books which we are not printing publicly yet. I am teaching a course and there are two books, woman and training part one, woman and training part two. And they are fantastic if you want to know what all about is and then two courses I have taught man to man and within the man. And these are our secret courses which we are trying to reach our people and make them understand.

Because my idea is very different as a teacher. I feel you should teach. Then you should watch your teachings. And then you should experience the result of your teaching. And if you confirm that it works then you say well, this is it, otherwise it's better to shut up. I believe that way, I am not saying I am telling you gospel truth though I know I am telling you a gospel truth, but I want you to prove, I want you to know, I want you to feel that what I told you a gospel truth. That is why when people talk to me they lie before me. I don't see people, I read auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. , so I know what he is talking about is a lie, but I never say you are a liar, I say go ahead saying it because I see how he is combining the auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. . So I can feel from there, where his deficiency lies. Where the deficiency lies is that center is closed, that center is closed for what reason? So all I do is to open up that center and let him go. Person becomes happier. I don't do miracle. But that's what I do.

Because every person who is blocked at one center is blocked in the very projection of that consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. and when he is blocked in that consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. he is blocked by that capacity. That means he is a handicap, he is not a liar, he is a handicap person. And just help the handicap. Nobody lies, I don't believe that anybody lies and anybody wants to lie, it's a total wrong accusation. Nobody wants to break a family life, nobody wants to cheat anybody, nobody wants to rape another person, it is not true. People are handicap and people are sick. Their chakras are locked and blocked and they can't open it themselves and that is the handicap in their projection and in their frustration they act wrong. It is as simple as that.

I mean, there are people who have been jailed and they have been my students. I tell you something. There was a person who was convicted of robbery and stealing homes and he was a cat from the very beginning. He came from prison, he was doing KundaliniKundalini Comes from the word "kundal"; coiled energy; the creative potential of an individual. Kundalini Yoga It is a Raaj Yoga that creates vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and openness to the spirit. It is used by the householder, busy in the world, to create immediate clarity. He opened this long secret tradition to all. , came from prison, he joined our landscaping unit. One day I saw him with a big bunch of keys. And I said, "Hey, so and so, you are carrying all these keys." And to my mind it came is he practicinghis old art. You know I wanted to ask him a straight question, mental question. And he said, "Sir, you have never spoken with me, these keys are of all the houses where we landscape."

"How could they give it you?"

He said, "Sir, they trust us. They know."

(Students' laughter)

The guy who was stealing yesterday and breaking every lock, today is carrying the keys of every home and he goes, open the house, clean it out from inside, clean the landscape, does the outside, does the whole thing lock it back and comes back. Same person. Why you call him a thief? Now his heart center is open, he is more compassionate. It was blocked, he was not compassionate, he was stealing. To state it's that simple. When one center of consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. or chakraChakra , Chaakra The word connotes a wheel in action. It usually refers to the seven primary energy centers in the aura that align along the spine from its base to the top of the skull. Each chakra is a center of consciousness with a set of values, concerns, and powers of action associated with it. you call it, is locked, the other over activates.. And when other over activates it takes the negative ingredients of that and then person starts acting negatively. So simple.

YB: When people are raised, they are not raised even as trees. People are very shabbily raised, children are raised very shabbily. You won't believe it when I told every woman in 3HO that for forty days she has to stay with a child, otherwise don't have it. Many left 3HO. Now it is a total biological necessity that when a child is born mother should not leave the child for forty days. That's why we put another servant. We call it sevadars. To serve her in those forty days. Now that we require as a law in 3HO. And then we don't want the child to be stuffed away in a cradle you know with a blanket in a dark room, poor thing doesn't know where he is and what where she is. And this mom is just sleeping here doing her fun, where the child is being ruined in the other room and this is called sick western society. And those neurosis and those fears and those phobias with these little ones get in that place, onwards do not spare them for the rest of their life. The anger blocks the chakras. And there is hardly any child who is totally brought out, totally in very most sick environments. Very sick environments. We kill our own children. We kill our own children. We mess them up and we are proud of it. Unfortunately it's very unrealistic. And that is what is happening to lot of young people. There is no fault with young people. I don't think they are wrong. I don't think they are wrong at all.

Because when these parents complain to me I ask them one thing-have you seen watermelon growing on an orange tree? They say no. I say how come your child is bad if you think you are so good? How can a mother complain my son is wrong? How can? She can't. If she is a good mother child has to be good, if he is a good father child has to be good. What they do is like Iranian government. This is our law, come on. We have to deal with you this way. Western can't even understand it. And they can't understand the western people. But basically same way Shah did something, now they are doing something. Children are doing something what parents did to them. It's a crisscross going back and forth and that takes away almost all happiness of every life. What happens? Every child develops himself under a trauma and rest of his youth which is eighteen years to rest of his life, he tries to cancel his trauma and then he dies.

That is actually what is going on in society. But if you can take the desire to the consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. and when he gets to the stage of drama correct the person and not to let him live in a state of trauma, every person can be beautiful, every. Every person can be healthy... it is my right to be healthy, happy and holy. For this I have to earn nothing, I have to do nothing, it's my right. I am born in the image of God. It is my right to be healthy, happy and holy. There is no specialty about it. Because I have been handicap, I have been crippled, mentally, physically and spiritually. I am blocked. And I do not know how to remove those blocks, that's why I need to do something and that is what part of life is sick.

Student: I have three children and my marriage is ended got split my two daughters are with their mother and my ten year-old son is with me and I can see their chapter is closed and I know it's from their parents myself and their mother, what can I do with out my children?

YB: Find out what brought the split And find out what brought the split and find out what that was and relate to that chakraChakra , Chaakra The word connotes a wheel in action. It usually refers to the seven primary energy centers in the aura that align along the spine from its base to the top of the skull. Each chakra is a center of consciousness with a set of values, concerns, and powers of action associated with it. of yours which is not functional. And non-functional perfect. Try to open that up and then negotiate with your wife, how sick she maybe she will respond. Because woman is the most easy animal on the planet. One little spermatozoa she can sprout it to a person. Her moon policy is she sprouts everything. All you have to do is not to fight with woman, just put one seed of thought in her, you are beautiful, if. You know wife is why and if. The word wife is a person who qualifies herself to be why and if and if she doesn't do that she is not a wife. She is a girlfriend. So you tell her, you use the same technology. You are most beautiful if... and then stop and let her enquire what that if is and you have her in the palm of your hand, otherwise forget it they are more intelligent than men anyway. Every woman is born sixteen more sensitive, and her computer can compute thirty-two times more because she by nature is born to protect the child, therefore her sensitivity is extended thirty-two times over the man. It's a natural gift given to her. Therefore she can even get in fingers what you are at.

Did she tell you that you are not a loyal husband? Or some allegations she made that way? What she said? I don't like you any more?

Student: No, we are too different, we are going on to different roads.

YB: Oh it can't, there is no such thing too different. Every woman is the same way. Either they come this way or they totally go that way. There is no something too different. Then why you were sleeping with her and having three children, can you believe that? At least you were meeting somewhere.

(Students' laughter)

At least thrice, between those time you have to say yeah, it did happen out of the blue, right? So there was some union, right?

Student: Yeah.

YB: Well, that is what it is.

Now any person can... this is my study, any person can equilibrate and liberate the closed chakraChakra , Chaakra The word connotes a wheel in action. It usually refers to the seven primary energy centers in the aura that align along the spine from its base to the top of the skull. Each chakra is a center of consciousness with a set of values, concerns, and powers of action associated with it. . I said, "It is risen."

(Students' laughter)

Question is not to raise the KundaliniKundalini Comes from the word "kundal"; coiled energy; the creative potential of an individual. , question is to take it to the shashra and turn it around and then bring it through the IdaIda One of the three major channels (nadis) for subtle energy in the body. It is not possible that KundaliniKundalini Comes from the word "kundal"; coiled energy; the creative potential of an individual. doesn't rise. It rises even in a madman. That is true. But question is we believe in a very different system, we believe in a system where man to man you serve the man. In our system teacher serves the student. In other systems teacher controls the student. And therefore we are two different systems. That's why normally I do not discuss other teachers and their systems. Because we believe if God wants somebody to come and be served that person shall come and get served. It is done in service in the name of God, it is not established you know I am this, and you are this, and that, that part you understand. That's why we don't initiate anybody, we say well, that much was his time to get served. Period. If he leaves, he doesn't want to do it, he got the service as God wished it.

In every other discipline every student serves the teacher. Here master is bountiful, he serves, he gives, he takes nothing. And that is what it is.

Student: (------)

YB: Good for you.

Student: (------)

YB: No, it's nice, you are understanding may be true.

Student: (------)

YB: This is our discipline. We serve the students. Master serves the student.

Student: (------)

YB: I am serving everybody right now lady.

Student: (------)

YB: You do not know then what deep relationship is.

Student: (------)

YB: No you are talking of relationship on a very sensual level or sexual level or personal level. Master doesn't serve, master doesn't serve anybody on that level.

Student: (------)

YB: Well, spiritually then you must understand what service is; spiritual is you ask question, you get the answer and you go and practice it and let the doubt go. That's all.

Student: (------)

YB: You should become very jealous. Yeah. You should become very jealous, I can understand you from which center you are coming. I agree, listen, I agree, I agree, it is a simple third center where person becomes absolutely jealous and does not tolerate the other person. To that extent if third center is not working and not functional mother can kill the child and wife can kill the husband. This all killing comes when the third center doesn't work. When there is an imbalance at the nabhi what they call it or you call it bellybutton point, bellybutton point you understand, if there is an imbalance in that area the frustration can go to the extent of eliminating the living product of the life of another person. That is how it works.

Yeah, you were asking question.

Student: Yeah, I would like to hear you on how you see the feminist on revolution?

YB: Oh feminists has not to do anything to revolute anything, by evolution they can do... In Iran look at it, six days they didn't cook for their husbands. Everything got straightened out.

(Students' laughter)

I mean, woman has not to do anything, I don't believe that woman is a weaker element. I think the problem with the woman is she is too compassionate to let her get exploited. But now they are just becoming little uptight and they do not want to get exploited and things are changing. Don't you feel around you everything is changing?

Student: (------)

YB: Lady, one thing you listen, either you come here... no, no wait a minute, this is the time of everybody and you can't have two lectures at one time.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, if you want to lecture I'll be all right, I don't mind that.

Student: (------)

YB: If you are too eager to do everybody in I don't mind that.

Student: (------)

YB: There is a certain decorum, which has to be observed.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, you ask question, I'll answer you. But there is one thing known in English called decency and I'll request you to be decent because all these people have time and they want their question to be answered too. Okay, thank you. Yes, what you said?

Student: Well about the feminist revolution is, it is something happening in the west that is not happening in the east.

YB: Yeah. What is happening is the woman in the west has been very highly misused, abused. Six million women in northern America including U.S.A and Canada are required to feed the physical need of the salesmen and the sale world. So they are not treating... Even prostitute is treated in some way because if she volunteers herself to be prostitute I can understand, but this total lot is totally engulfed into a certain framework and pressurized and misused and later on they find themselves totally a wreck and then there is nothing to help that woman and naturally each woman is now finding that all is happening to her is used, misused, abused, and now they are trying to relate to themselves. And naturally it's a voluntary reaction which will have. Because when the west was won or whatever, woman was brought in, you know two dollars a trip and all that, I was not there then, but I have seen it and I have read it and that's a historical fact.

Today woman wants only equal right. She wants to say hey, wait a minute, stop. Because there is a basic problem of biological difference. If a woman gets pregnant, she has to carry that unto her grave and she is becoming sensitive to her responsibility where man is not trying to share that responsibility and that's a basic fight. If it would have been, the woman becomes pregnant and delivers the baby and the man has to breastfeed him for two years, matter was equal. Matter is not equal to begin with and woman has started realizing she has to live with the trauma of abortion, she has to live with the trauma of many, many other traumas which I can detail in length and she is not willing to get involved in many more traumas because the pressurized economy is creating lot of traumas already.

So she said, "Hey man, hey Jack, I am Jean, Jack and Jean. Let us not be mean." And once he says no, I love you and later on he kicks her off. And she doesn't understand why. So she looked at A, B, C, D, these men walk away from big beautiful house with three children and start living in apartment, when she is forty-two and she can't go and do, even sell her body or do anything and this guy walks away with a young chick and no woman is going to tolerate. In other five-ten years forget it. They are becoming very sensitive, very organized and relatively it's a very happy sign. Because word woman contains the man in it. W O M A N. So if she wants to contain every man she can. And I think woman has the right to wake up now before it is too late that she is dragged through the streets of insanity by a total dilemma which she does not know who really she is.

Student: (------)

YB: This is what we did to woman. It is somebody who did it. This is what the environments are producing. Environments are pressurizing the people to the extent that they can't help themselves. And this is not the product of an individual, this is a society's product. Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: I agree hundred percent. But biological and metaphysical woman is highly involved. She is involved sixty percent to begin with and then for nine months she is involved hundred percent and then for about eleven years she is involved eighty percent. And in that eighty percent man has never fulfilled his roles of twenty percent. On average he fulfills five percent. It's a great human tragedy. Love does not mean 'Oh my children, I love you.' It doesn't mean... Full participation. Full participation. Full participation.

(Students' laughter)

Somebody once asked me, "How I can participate?"

I said, "I tell you how to participate. During the day the mom takes care of all the children."

He said, "Yes."

I said, "Night you should sleep with them and take care of them and send them to bed."

He did it only for three days. He said, "I'll ask her to have a maid sir, I can't do it myself."

I said, "Well, raising children is the maximum potential threat to the society, if one child is not raised well..."

It takes one child to become Jesus Christ or BuddhaBuddha An enlightened one; founder of the Buddhist faith. or GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. . One child, one womb. It takes to turn the century. Otherwise you can produce as many neurotics you want. This society is bad not because the society is bad. We gave a bad product to the society. And nobody wants to listen to it.

Student: (------)

YB: That is what I basically said but they are not raised properly, naturally they will turn out to be somebody which is not realistic and that is where lies the problem. Childhood trauma; I have analyzed people who got out of the childhood trauma when he was about six months old. At night he woke up, he had a fear, he saw something which he doesn't remember when, when you do not remember that when it is below three year age and through that trauma he has gone through nightmares and that guy is forty-seven years old today. He loves to put blanket on the face of his wife and suffocate her. Now that is the trauma. And he doesn't want to do it. He is a very respectable man, thousand and hundred thousand people know him, he is great man, but that was his trauma when he discussed with me, I said, "This is how it has come." You know what therapy I gave him? I told him to go in a tub of water, take a blanket and soak it. And he got out of it. Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: Neurosis is a part of life. Neurosis are not bad and neurosis leads to drama that is very creative. But when neurosis from drama leads to trauma and you do not... You have a car, beautiful car, Rolls-Royce car, right? But there is no brake. Then it becomes terrible. The problem with neurosis is... I have neurosis, I am very neurotic, I want everything tiptop, clean and perfect. I really tolerate it and I do not let anybody escape when they are ugly, to tell them what cleanliness is. I gave a lecture on cleanliness. So they understand it. To have neurosis is not bad. But to relate neurosis to the state of trauma, then you have no self-control. Because I may sometimes shout at somebody to read his auraAura The radiant field of energy and consciousness that surrounds the physical body and which holds and organizes the seven centers of energy called chakras. Its strength, measured by brightness and radius, determines the vitality, mental concerns, and psychophysical integrity of a person. and then next minute I laugh at the same person. They can't understand, they think I am a computer who switch buttons off and on. But that is not true, truth is that in one image you have a control on your neurosis, the other way the neurosis controls you. If you control your neurosis you are very creative, very aggressive, very progressive and very beautiful person. But if they control you, you are dead. And that's how it goes in few words. Anybody else? Yes.

Student: (------)

YB: No you charge one way or the other. I believe it is in my personal belief Itragashtam-Tatragashtam. Because I believe empty hand you come, empty hand you go. And time is the money and money is time. He might have thought that idea. I feel that asking somebody to send me air ticket is very difficult. Why one or two person should bear the brunt? Every teacher should put X amount of, every student should put X amount of money, so that takes care of all the expenses. I have to eat meals, either some person can feed me or I can feed myself. And basically as we teach self-independence to our students, we live independent also. But I have not seen any system in which sky opens up at six thirty and a plate of food comes down.

(Students' laughter)

Don't charge this, don't charge that, forget it. It doesn't work that way. I mean to say living is a business. You can overact to profit and you can absolutely just smooth it out. But my proposal to everybody is be upfront. I am very upfront. And my effective life is very different than his. I came in Hollywood as a great yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. . You understand? So I could have made zillions of dollars and do nothing. But I never did it, I started working with young people. And I understood twenty million people were suffering at that time when I came in. To struggle to change the society. And I joined that struggle. One thing I teach my students is be straight and upfront, which I saw they great lack. And don't have trash pads and trashing and trashing, just try to be very normal and beautiful, that's also one way of changing the society. Therefore we adapted a different role. And it is up to anybody how he wants to adapt a role. But basically, lot of different ways are there. And it's one of the way he adapts. Yes.

Student: Why did you choose to come to the west?

YB: Oh lady, that's very... I came to Canada. One gentleman from Canada went to India to find a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. . After six months of spending money and wasting his time he was very abusive. And at that time I was custom officer at Palam airport. And he was sitting and grumbling. And that night it was a red night, no plane will leave. But he was so angry I could see it and as a sympathy, I went to see him. And he was very, very learned person. So he wanted to know why Indians are so thieves and cheats and they tell they are land of yogisYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. and there is nobody you know, I heard him one hour. And I asked him, I said, "You want a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. , do you know what yoga is?"

So he gave me a very professional answer. And I gave him a very professional definition of yoga. And we talked and we became friends and he just started coaxing that I should come. And then some other things happened, Canadian high commissioner from here was my yoga student in India. I used to teach yoga in my private hours to anybody who wants to learn. And for my livelihood I was a government officer. And then it took them two years to root me out to come to Canada.

So I came, first city I came was Toronto and Montreal declared me... luggage-less and money-less person; they gave me twenty-five bucks, they lost my all my luggage. So in the streets of Toronto I walked barefooted in the snow as you are seeing it. I lived here three months but when they told me that I have to clean the pathway everyday and from snow before the children even walk to their schools I shifted to California.

(Students' laughter)

And thus Canada lost a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. . I am the first Indian who came as a yoga teacher to the west.
